Guess who Akshay and Twinkle had over as a guest recently? It was none other than Will Smith! Smith was warmly welcomed by the Kumars when he came to Mumbai on Sunday for a special party to celebrate Akshay's successful year. Yes, Akshay delivered three Rs 100 crore hits this year (Airlift, Houseful 3 and Rustom) and all his close friends got together on Sunday eve to congratulate the B-town hero.

Among close friends and family, more B-town celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Rohit Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandes, Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha were also seen at the party. We're guessing the fun went on until the whee hours in the morning and we have no doubts about Akshay's hosting skills.

Well, we can't help but be jealous! Love house parties? Here's what you should consider wearing when you're attending one because comfort is just as essential as style, amirite? House party, ahoy!

Margot Robbie turned up the heat for the premiere of Suicide Squad in NYC this week. The young actress complemented her pale skin tone with deep, rich, oxblood lipstick and natural eyes.

She caught everyone's eye with her dress: a high-necked, long-sleeved gown with equal parts black lace and shimmering gold sequins, in the shape of a unicorn. Nude nails and a small black clutch added to the outfit without being too loud.

Get inspired by her look with our pieces below and watch the video above to see her tattoo artistry skills!

Willow Smith, teenager and famous daughter of Will Smith, was announced as a face of Chanel earlier this year, but her first campaign for them only just came out now! The 15-year-old looks incredibly comfortable modelling all styles of high-fashion sunglasses. You can even watch her in the short video above, featuring the new line of sunnies.

While we may not all have the cash to stock up on Chanel sunglasses, we can absolutely take inspiration from Willow's fierce looks!

The last two years have seen a rising backlash against the Oscars for their lack of diversity, after no black actors were nominated in the best actress or actor category for the second year running. If you haven't been living under a rock, you will have seen the viral hashtag #OscarsSoWhite which trended worldwide for the last two years.

The hashtag and cause got support from many in the industry, for example director Spike Lee wrote "We cannot support it and mean no disrespect to my friends, host Chris Rock and producer Reggie Hudlin, president Isaacs and the Academy. But how is it possible for the 2nd consecutive year all 20 contenders under the actor category are white? And let's not even get into the other branches. 40 white actors in 2 years and no flava at all. We can't act?! WTF".

Lee's outrage was mirrored by thousands on social media, and others in the industry like Will and Jada Smith who boycotted this year's Oscars in light of the nominations. Luptia also commented on the ceremony stating "the Awards should not dictate the terms of art in our modern society, but rather be a diverse reflection of the best of what our art has to offer today. I stand with my peers who are calling for change in expanding the stories that are told and recognition of the people who tell them".

Due to the above controversy the film industry has finally decided to take action, with the Hollywood Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences opening up the academy, inviting 683 new members to join the panel.

Those who have confirmed the offer include Idris Elba and Michael B. Jordan. Moreover, women such as Brie Larson and Emma Watson have also been invited.

The new 683 people are 46% female, 41% people of colour and represents 59 countries. Meaning that the Academy, with its new members is now 27% female and 11% people of colour.

The above statistics show how disproportionately reflective the old membership was, and that even with the new class included there is still a long way to go before the Oscars diversify.

The thing is, it's easy to point the finger at the ceremony because it is such a coveted and widely televised night- but the real problem lies with institutional bias. Although the Oscars should try and push for a more diversified ceremony, which arguably they are now taking steps to do, they can only do so much. A larger movement of diversification in the industry as a whole needs to happen, which as a snowball effect links to America's larger problem with societal racism and sexism.

Some have argued that the Oscars have been progressive, for example the best supporting actress category has been called 'a diverse group' by the Washington Post. *internal screams*. I may be pointing out the obvious here, but if the only category that is racially diversified is the 'best supporting' category doesn't that speak volumes about how the Academy views minorities? That they can win or do well in the supporting role, but not the lead.

This marginalisation highlights the larger issue, and although I see why the Washington Post view it as a success it sort of feels like they're taking the stance 'every little helps'. Which, fine, it does and seeing people reflective of minorities win Oscars is of course a positive step- but the fact that for the last two years every person in the best actress and actor category have been white unconsciously reinforces racial prejudices. Subliminally it's sending the message that minorities should be included and that they can win supporting awards, but that white people are still dominant.

The racial issue is prevalent and obvious, which is why the hashtag #OscarsSoWhite has proved to be incredibly influential and a real force in pressuring the Academy to diversify. What about the issue of sexism? Women have to make up 50% of the nominees, so from face value many don't see this as an issue, but when you look a little closer the institutionalised sexism is apparent. Women have only received 19% of the non-acting nominations over the past 10 years. 12 films directed by women have been nominated for best picture...no not in the last few years, ever.

The 683 invitations mark a (long overdue) step. Hopefully those new members will be on the same wavelength as Brie Larson who tweeted "I got in! Excited to use my vote to nominate talent that reflects the real world we live in- Diversity'. The Oscars are seen by many as prestigious and the ultimate acting accolade, if they can lead the way in diversifying then hopefully the industry as a whole will respond to this call for more representation in film.

What do you think about the new members? Are the Oscars taking a positive step in combating bias or are they merely employing tokenism to avoid another media frenzy?

Remember getting excited back in January for the release of the new Suicide Squad trailer? Well, prepare to feel that excitement tenfold because a new teaser has just hit online... and it is EPIC.

Humorous, violent and so damn cool, we get to see Margot Robbie hammering it up as Harley Quinn in much more detail than in the first trailer- oh and she looks seriously hot too.

Will Smith’s Deadshot appears tortured and angsty, Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress actually has spoken lines (remember Pan?) and Jared Leto as the Joker reminds us all to pick up the phone and make a dentist’s appointment…

Watch above for the full trailer and let us know what you think in the comments box!

You know that friend or co-worker everyone has who loves latching on to interesting characters just so they can up their street cred? It don’t matter if they’re young or old, dumb or smart; they just gotta have money, looks, fame or quirk.

Sure, Karl Lagerfeld is talented but given his habit of sidling up to random media darlings to further the Chanel brand we can’t help but wonder: is he a kiss arse?

Earlier this week, 15-year-old Willow Smith rocked up to the Chanel AW16 show at PFW with her ma Jada Pinkett Smith wearing a space themed catsuit and sporting blue flicked eyeliner.

The Whip My Hair singer is the newest in a long line of Chanel ambassadors and even though Karl’s interest in this particular celebrity offspring began in 2014 when he photographed her for V magazine, we struggle to see the similarities between all the other Chanel muses he’s uh, nurtured.

Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid may very well be the It Girls of the decade, Cara Delevingne was pretty much pounced on by every fashion house on the planet, Lily Rose-Depp is Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis’ kid and Kristen Stewart was in Twilight, which Karl probably really, really likes.

Personally, the most surprising of Karl’s Chanel muses to date is Lily Allen whom he put in that “Cocoon bag" campaign back in 2009 'cause he thinks she looks like Gabrielle Chanel.

Any thoughts on who'll be the next Chanel muse under Karl's leadership? Comment below to let us know!

As far as celebrity offspring goes, Jaden and his little sis Willow certainly count as celeb offspring royalty. So much so, that Louis Vuitton has put 17-year-old Jaden in its SS16 women's campaign!

This can't all be the fashion house's doing though; young Jaden has shown a keen interest in analysing the sociology of fashion before. Defending his style choices to an off-camera hater, he was captured on film explaining fashion is "all about creating, and dressing a generation, and helping a generation."

Additionally, Jaden has been caught numerous times by the paparazzi decked out in dresses and skirts. We salute him - Keep on being YOU Jaden!

Last night, the stars descended upon the red carpet at Rihanna's annual Diamond Ball in LA. The black tie charity event for RiRi's Clara Lionel Foundation ended up raising over $3 million to improve the quality of life worldwide for those in impoverished communities.

Undoubtedly the belle of the ball, Rihanna wore a gold gown from Dior which draped over her curves. The only rival to RiRi's stunning look was Kylie Jenner, who took to the red carpet in a white August Getty dress with a mermaid tail train. Whilst Kylie's boyfriend Tyga was in attendance, they did not pose together.

Other stars in attendance include model/actress Emily Ratajkowski, Zendaya, Draya Michele and Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Scroll through our gallery to see their red carpet looks!

It's safe to say the Kardashian-Jenner's don't really get "doing things on the quiet", as they proved this weekend celebrating 'momanger' Kris Jenner's 60th birthday.

Costing an eye watering $2million, the 1920s themed Great Gatsby event was pulled off on an epic scale, with the clan all dressing up to the max in beaded dresses and period appropriate hair and makeup.

Although they all looked stunning, we loved Kourtney's approach to the theme best, shunning the glitzy dresses for a tailored suit to channel Jay Gatsby, whilst Kendall dressed as Daisy Buchanan, complete with blonde wig.

If the party wasn't OTT enough, the girls clearly fancied themselves as the next big musical thing, penning and performing possibly the cringiest song you will ever listen to. No really.

A remake of Kris' 30th birthday song, watch it above now! There are literally no words to describe it- it's almost so bad, it's good.... we said ALMOST!

In a recent Interview with Beats 1 Radio, Jared Leto's suicide co-star Will Smith says he still hasn't met Jared after working with him for six months on Suicide Squad. According to Will, Jared was always in character as the Joker: "He was all in on the Joker.”

Pictured here during a stroll around NYC on Friday, Jared was dressed in his usual zip knee joggers with ASICS boots and a support Nepal tee.

We can't wait to see his performance in the new movie!
