The S/S '17 shows wrapped up way back in September/October 2016, so we all need a little refresher of the hottest trends set down by the fashion gods for this season!

We've got the top 10 cutest and most wearable trends right here for you!

Metallic Fabrics
We're absolutely loving the futuristic, uber-cool trend of metallic fabrics that was all over the S/S '17 runways. Pair a metallic silver/gold skirt with a basic white button-down, a glitzy gold top with black skinny pants, or go the whole hog with a metallic dress—the world's your shiny oyster!

Tie-dye
There's nothing like a little throwback to help us fall in love with a fashion trend, so we naturally love this trend that reminds us of our craft classes back in school. If you're a fan of fun, colourful prints, this one is right up your alley.

Ruffles
Ruffles have been in and out of vogue for the past few seasons, and looks like they're planning to continue popping up every now and then! And we aren't complaining, because ruffles are super versatile. You can go super girly and cute with a ruffle-y dress, or office chic with a high-necked ruffle shirt and a pencil skirt.

Pink all over
Whether it's a dusty mauve, a fiery fuchsia, or a pleasant mid-tone pink, it's all on trend right now! Combine various shades of the same family of pink to put together the perfect pink ensemble from top to toe, and channel your inner girly girl.

Boxy/Boyfriend Shirts
Buh-bye, slim silhouettes—it's time to make room for the androgynous boxy boyfriend shirt. This shirt is perfect for casual outfits where you want to look cute without spending too much time wondering what to wear. Simply pair with a high-waisted pair of skinny jeans and some cool, basic sneakers to complete the look.

Zebra print
For those of you who love monochromatic prints, the zebra print is a good option this season for when you're feeling extra sexy. Wear a zebra print dress, or pair one zebra print piece with a plain white piece.

Gingham
It's time to go back to your school days with some classic gingham! This elegant yet cute print is perfect for office wear when you're bored of the basic neutral pieces.

Emojis
Who says that fashion trends stop at clothing and accessories? We believe in extending them to our decor too! Channel the S/S '17 emoji trend by funking up your house with a few emoji cushions.

Denim dresses
Last season, it was denim shirts. This season, they've switched it up to denim dresses! We absolutely love this trend for the simple reason that it's such a quick, no-brainer outfit to put on. No need to fuss with finding matching tops and bottoms that look trendy—just pop on a denim dress, throw on a pair of white sneakers, and you're good to go.

Kitten heels
Another trend that's great for you if you wear formals to office! Most women prefer wearing heels rather than flats, because they add a touch of glam to the outfit. But let's get real—it simply isn't practical or appealing to wear stilettos from 9 to 5! Here's where kitten heels save the day. They're cute as heck, but won't leave you craving a foot massage.

The slick feel of satin against skin is one that many of us enjoy; not least because it evokes a sense of luxury. Luckily for us this Autumn/Winter, satin look pieces are having their moment not just as party wear but in bomber jacket, draping duster jacket, bodysuit, and even cropped trouser form!

Show that you've earned your fashion stripes for the season when you shop from our edit below packing sensual satin pieces by Rare London, Coast, Mango, Accessorize, and more...

We all have at least one bodysuit in our wardrobe because we effin' love them, don't we?! Growing up, we have all seen these in movies and they were made popular by ballet dance form, but since then they have emerged as a fashion trend and we know for sure that it's here to stay! With its sleek profile and comfy soft fabric, the bodysuit is simultaneously sexy and chic.

Wondering how you can style them? Read on.

In the office
We know skirts are a hit in the office and thank god you can style bodysuits the best with pencil skirts of your choice! If you choose a conservative, sleeved bodysuit in neutral colours, you can team it up with almost any skirt you own! Alternatively, pair the suit with a lacy bralette to ensure the neckline doesn't reveal too much.

Travelling? No problem!
Comfy pants also have an official name now and they are called palazzos. If you're travelling and have to walk around much, wear a bodysuit with comfortable and airy palazzo pants or trousers and you'll be ready. Don't forget to wear your fave sneakers too!

Love denims? We do too!
On some days, all we want to wear is denims! On days like these, you can team up your colourful bodysuits with your fave pair of denim and accessorise the look a little with some statement jewellery. Carry a backpack or baggy tote and you'll be ready to walk out the door. Inspired?

Check out our fave bodysuits and some options to pair it with!

For us, the biggest dilemma after the weekend is not Monday morning blues, but the horror of having to wear pants again!

Believe it on not, after a soulful and quiet Sunday where big, long t-shits serve as comfort clothes, having to wake up again the next day and wearing pants can seem like a draaaag.

But that's exactly why palazzo pants exist, amirite? Here are a few reasons for us to absolutely love them to death.

Reason #1: We don't have to worry about shaving our legs ever so often!

Reason #2: On a hot summer day, it's OK for us to run out of dresses!

Reason #3: They look the best with kurtas or crop tops!

Reason #4: Comfortable AF!!

Reason #5: They work in both formal and informal setups hence we can wear them to work and immediately to a night out the same day!

We know you love palazzo's too! After all, who doesn't? We have curated a list of our fave easy-peasy pants so you can make them yours too!

You could quite easily replace the word 'floral' with 'crochet' in the famous Devil Wears Prada quote "Florals for spring...groundbreaking"- What I mean by this is that crochet is a S/S staple. It's an old favourite, but it doesn't have to be predictable.

Crochet can be edgy, it can conjure up '70s vibes, it can be modern. Yes, gone are the days when crochet resembled something your nan would knit. Crochet is cool

Balmain featured it in their 2017 spring menswear show, Jonathan Simkhai showcased crochet in their S/S'16 ready to wear collection, whilst Moschino used it in a vibrant pink for their Spring 2017 menswear show. Basically it has been everywhere this season, and we are in love!

Shop the edit below for 3 ways to wear crochet, inspired by the runway...

Stripes are a wardrobe staple every season and reappear every year on the catwalks with a subtle twist. This year the typical horizontal stripe is still very much in fashion but we're also seeing lots of vertical stripes on the scene. If you wanna change up your stripe game or maybe even become the referee then look no further...

Are you an ankle boot lover through and through? Freak out at the thought of flat sandals and flip flops each time you check the weather app? Thank goodness it's 2016. Ankle boots have never been more prevalent and with styles now featuring cut out detail, mesh uppers, peep toes and perforation, it's easier than ever to rock a slick pair of shoes you can wear from dawn till dusk!
