As we've reached November our minds are already turning to Christmas. This is truly the best time to indulge in picking out partywear for the season ahead. From sparkly dresses, to sequinned tops, floor skimming skirts and embellished blazers we're constantly coming up with new ways to make a statement...

Styling is key for party dressing. Try investing in one party dress that you love, while playing with different styling ideas. You can belt it and add definition to your waist, wear it with a pair of chunky ankle boots sparkly accessories and tights.

Try a velvet party dress in an emerald hue, one of the most prominent trends of the season with heels and an oversized blazer. Opt for a sequinned flapper dress and pair it with a structured coat for a killer party season look.

Whatever your style this season, remember to wear your most flattering accessory: your smile, and have an amazing time.

When it comes to inspiration for a next-level Halloween look there's only one place to go... Instagram. We looked to our favourite Insta influencers for a few tips and tricks on how to nail the coolest looks of 2018.

Now, when it comes to creating an outstanding Halloween beauty look the tools you use are super important. Plus, remember that what you're putting on your skin needs to be gentle and breathable. So step away from the face paints.

Layering is key to creating the perfect beauty look. You can't go adding glitter before you've created a proper base. Always work with light layers and make sure they're dry before adding more. This way you can create shade and texture with darker and lighter highlights.

Stencils are a great way to achieve picture-perfect results. You can buy these or make your own by simply cutting shapes in paper with a scissor. Try using fishnet tights to create scale effects for mermaid looks or cut out paper hearts for the perfect Harley Quinn tribute.

You probably wore all colours of tights during your school years. From blues to greens to yellows to pinks… Everything! All of them is a trend right now. If you’re looking for a statement in your wardrobe tights are it! Coloured tights were loved by designers in their Autumn Winter collections. After appearing on the catwalks of the last winter season, tights became a crucial piece in the street style looks. Before, tights were a more sensual item, and now you can use it with your ripped jeans. Credits: Pinterest

If you’re a bit lost in your wardrobe when spring finally comes around, know you’re not alone. Cold, warm, rain, sun… difficult to understand. At the end of the day, you put on layers, without knowing what you’re doing. Or worse, you get a cold.

But this era has come to an end. Here are the 6 transition pieces to bet on for an amazing spring.

The cardigan

The must-have of mid-season, the one we all have in our wardrobe but not the funniest to wear. Pick its oversized version, a bit thick, a bit boyfriend-like. Cinched, it is now a sexy must have.

The trench coat

easy, everyone knows it. Lighter than a coat, it protects you against rain and get you warmer with style. Perfect to warm up that little dress we’ve been dying to wear.

The military jacket

a bit like the trench, but more rock. This is a classic to wear with a jean or a printed dress, for a boho-chic style. With boots or thigh high boots, worn on bare legs, you’re ready to face the storm.

The culottes

Nor shorts or trousers, this is a transition piece by definition. We skip the tights of course, the idea being to finally show some leg. We put on a pair of mules (if the weather is nice), or sneakers, and here we go!

The mules

Here, again, we have a hybrid piece, so perfect for transition. Half-sandals, half-boots, mules are covering enough to keep your feet warm, but open enough for a more spring-like look.

The thigh-high boots

Feeling like a dress, but tired of wearing tights ? Thigh high boots are made for you. Careful, you’re gonna turn heads…

So you have made plans with your newly discovered beau and it's tonight. It's enough dealing with the butterflies that come with meeting and spending time with him there's no reason why you should add more pressure to yourself when selecting an outfit. All you need is to think about a few guidelines that might make that selection a lot easier.

Reflect Your Individual Style

When opting for your outfit just think of what would work for you on a normal basis. You more than anyone else know your attributes. Your job is to simply detect them and accentuate them.

Go For Tights

Leggings and tights in general have this amazing capacity to make you look more slender, they define an elongated silhouette while at the same time they can be very flattering and keep you warm at the same time. That being said, you shouldn't go for anything too revealing either that might send the wrong message about who you really are.

Don't Do Baggy

Baggy clothes are a great way of showing off your individuality but they also give off the vibe you rather chill in your slacks at home then spend time with your date. At least show that you're invested. Of course a few might argue that if you don a pair of the baggiest clothes with a tight top the end result might be very appealing. Leandra Medine won the heart of her than ex boyfriend and current husband with a pair of harem pants. So in the end go with your gut and your individual style.

We’ve noticed that Fendi is now rivalling Gucci when it comes to Milan Fashion Week streetstyle. The latter is still huge news of course, especially following the incredible mishmash of cross-cultural and supernatural references Alessandro Michele featured in his ‘Cyborg’ AW18 collection, complete with severed heads and a cradled baby dragon. But some of the fash pack are ditching Gucci’s double G monogram for Fendi’s double Fs to inspirational effect. Whether it was a multi-coloured bag, a coat as seen on Anna Dello Russo, or even a sheer skirt and accessories, each women pulled off the statement logo pieces with aplomb leaving us with serious style envy. And trust self-professed techno princess, the model and DJ Sita Abellan, to take monogram layering to a whole new level by teaming a Fendi cardigan, belt, bag, tights and shoes together (a chic new record) in brown tones with flashes of red.

The fact that Fendi’s monogram isn’t as famous as Gucci’s or even Chanel’s or Louis Vuitton’s actually works in it’s favour. There’s less risk of overexposure as adoptees tend to have an affinity with the Italian fashion house or the letter ‘F’ (maybe it’s one of their initials?). Fendi’s Creative Directors Silvia Venturini Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld have also made an effort to graphically rework the ‘F’ in some lovely and original ways. Take the the ‘F’ hoops with the letters sitting at an angle or the arty use of colour, these on-trend yet timeless styles have captivating cross-general appeal. They’re sophisticated and impeccably crafted with the prices the match.

We're offered a wide range of cutting-edge workouts that come with their specific set of challenges, from the trampoline to soul cycle, hot yoga and Zumba; each fitness class requires high-performance gear that ticks all the boxes. Providing the right accoutrement for each workout can have a significant impact to our experience from a sartorial and practical perspective. Scroll down below and equip yourself only with the right stuff.

SOUL CYCLE

When it comes to a physically demanding class like soul cycle it’s important to opt for breathable separates. For example a quality sports bra paired with matching leggings can relieve some of the burden of excessive sweating. For socks, try sweat absorbing material which will motivate you to finish the class minus any unwelcome distractions. After the workout, wear a hoodie to allow the muscles to cool down gradually.

MARATHON GIRL

More than any other athletic leisure activity, running requires some deal of wardrobe preparation. As with any other outdoor workout you need to equip with an all-weather zip up that you can don over your tank top. Try a technical long-sleeve top that can easily be removed during cool down. For leggings, choose a pair with compression past the ankles for a speed run or a longer marathon.

HOT YOGA

In a class like hot yoga you know you’re going to sweat a ton so it’s important to wear breathable clothing like soul cycle but also loose enough that will allow you to strengthen, and unwind. Start with a tank and leggings and throw on a loose t-shirt on top that you can take off when it starts to get too hot for comfort.

DANCE CLASS

Whether it’s Zumba, Barrecore or a fun hip-hop infused class weight-shifting movements that put the core to work demand a particular set of clothing. For example a leotard with built-in support and the sense of freedom to move as you please. For bottoms a pair of leggings, ballerina tights and sweats will do the trick. Remember to dance barefoot, with rubber soled socks or trainers to avoid slippery floors.

Denim has historically been one of the most flattering fabrics for both men and women. It's also surprisingly versatile, adored by the high street and the high end alike. This season we are seeing more and more denim worn on top rather than just on the bottom. Infused with a touch of Americana and 70's western films, the denim shearling is having a serious moment! For SS18 denim is super playful unexpected and comfortable. This means no boring denim jackets but, lots of cutouts, embroidery, and patches.

The cool thing about shearling is that it's your perfect transition weather jacket. It's still denim - in other words, meant for the upcoming Spring season but is embellished with touches or shearling lining for those colder nights in the city. It's also super versatile! You do a double denim look, pair it with a romantic dress for a first date, with tights and sneakers for a weekend getaway, or simply with your khaki shorts and boots for a cool day look alternative!

Check our exclusive edit of our favourite denim shearling jackets on the market right now!

Kudos to Kylie Jenner for one-upping the Super Bowl by announcing the birth of her daughter. The youngest member of the reality TV clan released a youtube video tribute to her newborn on Sunday revealing previously unseen footage of her pregnancy, intimate moments with her family and the birth. What struck us was how Jenner stayed true to her style even as her body changed- sticking to mostly oversized t-shirts and sweats that comfortably hid the bump while she was keeping the news under wraps. But when she wanted to show it off among her friends and family: it was body-con dresses all the way- mini, maxi whatever. Now as Jenner is just 20, you may think that her age played a role in her decision not to adopt traditional maternity wear and keep an eye on the trends, but other pregnant women with enviable wardrobes have done the same. (Side note: did you see her daughter’s wardrobe? North West’s got serious competition as Kris Jenner’s best dressed granddaughter).

We did a double take when we saw the Duchess of Cambridge in that head-turning Erdem gown during her royal visit to Sweden. Wow. Yellow, florals, ruffled detail, that’s at least three enduring trends tick tick ticked. She looked stunning and arguably the best we’ve seen her look since she entered the spotlight as William’s girlfriend. The dress skimmed delightfully over her neat bump without making her look bulky, proving that more fitted silhouettes aren’t out of the question for eveningwear if they fit properly. Get a tailor if needed. In fact the whole trip threw up some great looks- the red and white houndstooth coat (similar to Princess Diana’s) and another floral Erdem dress- in blue velvet the second time.

But what about if you’re more tomboyish or you have your own distinctive look? Enter streetstyle star Veronika Heilbrunner who announced her pregnancy last month and hasn’t changed her style one jot. She still showing off her endless legs (in tights as it’s winter), wearing mini or clingy dresses with chunky boots and bold bags. The only discerning change is maybe she’s wearing less trousers than usual but time will tell and she’s got months and fashion weeks of pregnancy to go. It will be interesting to see how and if her sartorial taste changes. Katherine Ormerod is another fashionable women lauded for her outfits. In her own words and judging by her instagram feed, she’s actually kept on wearing her pre-pregnancy pieces with clever layering. It seems she was fond of oversized silhouettes anyway which have been able to accommodate her bump.

All in all, these four women demonstrate four different-but-successful approaches to pregnancy dressing. Pick your favourite and shop their looks in our edits below.
