Blake Lively is suiting up lately… And quite a lot! The famous actress is giving us the Annie Hall vibes with her street style. Wearing suits for her latest red carpet events, Lively confused her fans. Later on she explained that the reason she was wearing suits was to do a shameless self promotion for her latest movie ‘A Simple Favour.” Lively said she styled her character from the movie’s director Paul Feig! #blakelively #movie #suit #suiting #fashion #redcarpet #style #streetstyle

Animal prints are everywhere. From zebra to leopards to tiger prints to croc details… You name it! All and every animal print is a trend. Especially seen with footwear in street style, animal print boots are a must for Fall 2018. Try them with suits or jeans to add a ‘wow’ factor to your style #animalprint #zebra #leopard #tiger #snake #croc #trend #fashion #streetstyle #boots #style

Now that September's here and New York Fashion Week has graced us once again, it’s time to reflect on the trends we saw on the runways and get excited about wearing them in real life. Here’s our round-up of the top ten trends we loved at NYFW and the ones you'll be seeing everywhere...

Animal print

Already spotted on our favorite street style stars, animal prints ruled the New York runways. Tom Ford’s came in every shape and color you could imagine, but classic leopard patterns still dominate – see Victoria Beckham’s timeless coats.

Western boots

From slouchy over-the-knee shapes to classic cowboy styles, plenty of Western boots were worn on the runway this season. Whichever you choose, show them off with cropped denim or maximalist dresses.

Checks

They may be nothing new, but checks are about to have a major moment. Michael Kors and Calvin Klein 205W39NYC both showed punk-inspired tartan coats – we’ll be wearing them with denim and chunky boots.

Logomania

Logo prints have ruled the street style circuit for several seasons now, and they’re not going anywhere – Alexander Wang’s embellished tracksuits and Tom Ford’s sequined sweatshirts are proof if proof were ever needed.

Neon

Already championed by Kim Kardashian, neon brights popped up everywhere. We loved Calvin Klein’s industrial-style jackets and Tibi’s fluorescent sweaters teamed with low-key camel tailoring.

‘70s brown

Coach and Self-Portrait both showed plenty of ‘70s-inspired brown hues, proving the trend has serious staying power. Try a belted coat or midi dress for a timeless feel.

Colorful suiting

Navy and black will no longer do – suits this season came in every color possible. From candy pinks to pastel blues, any shade goes as long as you’re wearing it from head to toe.

‘80s maximalism

Tom Ford proved the ‘80s are here to stay for another season with purple leopard-print leggings, sequins and shoulder pads.

Modern sports

Sportswear is now a staple on the runway, and this season it came in sleek silhouettes with industrial details – think quilted nylon midi skirts and oversized drawstring pants.

The new utility

Military-inspired pieces make their way onto the catwalk every fall, and with good reason: a classic double-breasted coat or khaki jacket will never go out of style.

Leopard print: the undeniable hero of the summer. We saw it everywhere from skirts and sneakers to art prints and luxe lingerie…

A bold, unapologetic staple with its roots in fancy ‘50s skirt suits, disco flares, statement ‘80s style and the grunge aesthetic of the ‘90s, animal print is back with a bang.

What’s more it doesn’t look to be departing any time soon. Zebra prints, faux snakeskin, cheetah spots and tiger-inspired stripes are the order of autumn.

If ever there were an impulse buy to get on board with, it’s this collection of statement prints so we’ve rounded up the best pieces to invest in, whatever your budget.

Kim has been killing it with her outfits lately! I love the cut out design from her bodysuit and i'm really into her cleopatra bob, i think it suits her more than the long wavy hair that she previously had. photo credit: @kimkardashian on twitter #beauty #fashion #outfit #hair #look

Charlotte Tilbury is literally my makeup idol. I'm used to see her wearing her all-black uniform most of the days when she is working, but I just lovee when she goes to an event and dish her uniform and reveal her true style. She has this really cool boho-chic style that really suits her vibrant and bubbly personality. I just love it! photo credit: @ctilburymakeup on twitter #ctilburymakeup #beauty #makeupartist #fashion

Although short suits were a trend for menswear collections, why can’t we wear it too! Normal suits are too long for this heatwave and I want to wear suits! I’m sorry but I’m stealing this look from the menswear runways! Go for the bright colours to make this style perfect for summer. #suits #shortsuits #style #trend #fashion #summer

This makeup look on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is beyond, BEYOND. We all know that she has a stunning face, to say the least, but I just love this work of makeup artist Hung Vanngo. The smoke out wing is a look that he does for most of the clients that work with him, but this looks really suits Rosie's eye shape and I really like how he keeps the lips very balmy and juicy but no glossy.  photo credit: @hungvanngo on twitter  #beauty #makeup #look #mua

Summer just landed and when I think on swimsuits styles for this hot and fun season, I can´t stop thinking about one-pieces.  One-pieces never really goes out of style, suits most on body types and there's so much many fun styles lately to choose from.  You could for a very classic and minimalist design like the one in the picture or you could go all out with fun neon colors or vibrant prints. One-pieces for everyone! photo credit: @telva on twitter  #fashion #swinsuit #beach #summer

The edition of the Ocean's 11 franchise hits theatres tomorrow across the US. We're expecting stellar performances by an all-female cast including Rihanna, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling and Cate Blanchett an award-winning actress who thanks to her many accolades, has had plenty of opportunities to hone her red-carpet style.

Cate Blanchett often avoids the safe route and goes with pieces from the likes of Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane and Armani. She always put her unique stamp on a look by making structural silhouettes and bold detailing work to her advantage.

Her most memorable looks?

Hands down the lemon Valentino design she rocked when accepting her Oscar, the intricately-designed John Galliano dress that she sported at her first Academy Awards and more recently, her killer pastel suits at Cannes Film Festival.

We love Cate Blanchett's style so we’ve put together a few tips on how to recreate it, whatever your budget…

Red carpet

Go for a sweeping evening gown with an exposed back and gold-toned detailing. Finish your look with delicate sandal heels, a simple clutch and a set of drop earrings for pure elegance.

Off duty

To copy Cate’s  her off duty look  keep it classic and practical. She usually goes for a pair of fitted pants, a blazer and shirt paired with a neutral  mule or sneaker, so try muted separates and tailoring with a sports-luxe twist for yourself. Want to get more of Cate's style?

Head to our gallery for more snaps of her red carpet and off-duty look sand shop our favourite Cate-inspired pieces from the edit below...
