Festival season is still on trend. Even though Coachella ended almost a month ago, the trends are still going on! Sequins and glitter styles have taken over swimsuits. Are you looking for a way to stand out in your beachwear style? Sparkling swimsuits should be your go-to piece. After a decade of minimalism, sleek lines and simple colours, trends inspired by disco and the '70s are bringing bold textures back into fashion. From Gucci to Versace, designers reinvented the vintage trend with a modern twist, finding inspiration with IT girls Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber and eschewing the desire to blend in.

We love everything that sparkles and shines around Christmas and a sequinned number never goes amiss, but honestly, it's a shame to leave those glittering outfits hanging in our wardrobes for the rest of the year.

We're donning our sequins for spring, gearing up for a summer of festivals and long balmy evenings. We can't get enough of sequin embellishments on everything from heels, to clutch bags and evening gowns. Shop below and prepare to feel like the queen you are,...

Just like corduroy, another Americana mini trend is having a major moment: the cowboy boot. Wild West was big in Milan catwalks and street style hasn't been the same ever since. First seen at Fendi, in a multitude of colours and designs, an embellished version emerged at Dolce & Gabbana, while Emporio Armani employed it as one of the key trends for the new season. The great news is that cowboy boots are incredibly versatile and can be paired up with pretty much anything: From trousers or skirts they can be worn beautifully both in winter and in the warmer months of Spring and Summer.

Scroll down below and find the one that's right for you:

STATEMENT HUE BOOT

Fendi made a very clear statement by creating cowboy boots in bold prints and hues like mustard yellow, or blue. If you opt for an impressive boot aim to keep the rest of the outfit muted or pair it with an outfit that's in the same tonal family: deep browns, neutral hues like champagne and black.

SEQUIN BOOT

Dolce & Gabbana put a sparkly stamp on the original cowboy boot instantly elevating it from a day look to an evening glitter-party. If you want to make yours to work after dark, team it with a monochrome outfit, embellished with sequins.

MIXED PRINT

If you want a more casual trendy spin then take the Emporio Armani route of mixed colours and Americana trademarks like stars. Choose a few colours of the boot, for example, green and white and wear them with a green and white dress or stripped pantsuit.

How will you be wearing your cowboy boots this Spring? Shop your favourite styles from our expert edit below!

As Paris Fashion week unfolds, we have already spotted a few trends on the streets that have made us swoon, especially when they decidedly combine style with comfort. An evolution of the XXL scarf, the poncho is making a come back. Ponchos are amazing for layering and a great piece of transitional wear from winter to spring and vice versa.

A jacket may feel a bit confining with too many layers, and as we move through March we want to stock up on looser and more versatile options. That's why if you're tired of the blanket scarf you can change it up with a boho-inspired fringed poncho.

Look for inspiration at brands like Chloé, Burberry and Monse for a dramatic flair. Go for rainbow prints, Scandi patterns, oversized silhouettes and sequin embellishments like sparkly broaches. Try an all black poncho and let a few details shine through of your favourite knit or shirt (weather permitting) if classic is more of your calling.

Head to our gallery for more inspiration and shop your favourite styles from our expert edit below!

I think a sequin gown it's so incredibly elegant. Any sparkly touch in a dress makes them look luxe and captivating. Every time I see a piece like this, my mind goes to old Hollywood parties, bubbly champagne and kiss and tell moments. Are you a fan of sequins too? We often find ourselves thinking what would Veronika Heilbrunner do? when it comes to styling boyish beige boots. The German fashion editor, co- founder of hey-woman.com and streetstyle star is renowned for wearing hers come snow, rain or shine and the subversive cool of her unexpected shoe of choice is very evident in her must-follow instagram feed. Chunky and lace-up, they look insanely comfortable- compared to the heels her colleagues are sporting- and add few inches to her modelesque frame. What we’ve learnt by scrolling through is that as casual as these boots may seem, they’ll work wonders with a sequin mini dress on the red carpet too: just like Heilbrunner wore them for the Fashion Awards 2017 back in December. She rarely teams them just with jeans, interestingly enough; and usually veers from pretty dresses to knockout trousers looks making these beige boots her signature touch.

The best thing about Heilbrunner’s boot obsession is that she’s not picky about brands. Timberland’s cult Radford boots are one of her go-tos, banish any thoughts of JLo’s heeled pairs our of your mind, and won’t break the bank. If you’ll willing to spend a little more, Acne and Altuzarra are designer brands she’s stepped out in. Then wear them with everything in your wardrobe- the blonde’s even worn hers with black tights which we weren’t feeling until we saw it on her.

Check out Heilbrunner’s best booted looks above and then shop our edit of the best boyish beige pairs available now.

If you work between 10:30-12:30pm on weekdays, you might not know who Holly Willoughby is so let us enlighten you. The pretty blonde presents brunch TV show ‘This Morning’ adding glamour to mundane topics with her knockout day-to-day style. Tonal two pieces, chic coats and a penchant for pleated skirts and nude heels, she’s, thankfully, a prolific instagrammer too so you can tap and shop her tagged looks as soon as she’s worn them. But her covetable high-low mix of high street to designer pieces never stay in-store for long, much like the Kate Middleton or Megan Markle effect.

Willoughby’s appeal stems from her ‘normal’ figure, well more pilates honed these days, as she showcases how to flatter hourglass shapes while staying on trend. From high-waisted trousers to pencil skirts and swishy skirts- topped with a tight top- she flaunts her favourite features and looks fabulous doing it. She’s great workwear inspiration as she’s always chicly demure by day (to not offend the masses) and more daring at night- hence the wow-factor Ashish rainbow sequin dress she wore on Jonathan Ross. Dressing for TV is hard, given the camera supposedly adds 10 pounds and there seems to be an unwritten rule that female newsreaders wear sheath dresses, but Willoughby nails it every time aided by her stylist Angie Smith (and a tailor we’d wager).

We can’t wait to follow her outfit trajectory in 2018 and in the meantime, shop our edit below to recreate some of Willoughby’s best looks from this year.

A quick glance at a recent streetstyle album will provide all the evidence you need that the beret has replaced the beanie as the fash pack’s go-to hat. Pushed forward to cover the hair line, back to frame a fringe or placed jauntily at an angle, you can wear it any way you want and it still manages to look oh-so French cool. Blame Dior for starting the trend with leather berets because brands and designers have taken the hat shape and really run with it- crafting them in all sorts of wonderful shades and textures. Wool, sequins, velvet- you name it, there’s probably a beret made in it. And it’s also become an unlikely site for empowering slogans that definitely won’t be obscured by a winter coat. Add in the fact that it’s cold and you want to keep your head warm, there’s no reason not to rock one.

Well, only if they fit your head properly. A too-tight beret is not a good look for anyone but you don’t want them to be too baggy either because the effect is less chic outfit accent and more sloppy. Having the kind of hair that will retain the beret hat shape for hours after wear or a forehead that indents easily are other potential deterrents. Keeping the beret on at all times in public (inside and outside) could overcome them or equal sweaty/greasy-looking hair; and how insulating or waterproof is a sequin or net-like style exactly? Not very. Some berets are simply worn for decoration.

Shop your favourite berets from our edit of the best ones available below.
