As Milan Fashion Week is all wrapped up, we have finally chosen our favourite shows of the season. And let’s just say it was NOT easy to narrow this list down!

Here are the ones we HAD to talk about:

1. Marni
Marni’s show was a colour block-gasm this season! We absolutely adored the smart-casual solids.

2. Ports 1961
This collection was a delightful mix of black, white, and the occasional pop of colour. So chic!

3. Max Mara
This collection had two elements that tied all the pieces together: stripes and neutrals. What’s not to love?

4. Jil Sander
Jil Sander’s designs have always been every minimalist’s dream, and why should this season be any exception to that? We LOVE the super sleek neutrals and metallics in this collection.

5. No.21
This coloruful, grungy collection with a generous sprinkling of sparkly embellishments was impossible to draw our eyes away from! Because who says you can’t rock colour in a Fall collection?

Scroll the album for all the show pictures! Did your favourite show make it to the list?

If you’ve started redecorating your home for 2016 or have been working on spring cleaning, why not go a step further and invest in some smart upgrades to your home?

We switched on our smart brains (also known as iPhones) to find you these top 10 smart home gadgets for 2016, guided by Brit+Co:

1. Nest
Smart thermostat Nest has been around for a while, and its third generation product is thinner, smarter and clearer with an improved display, more temperature sensors to help it learn your home faster and feedback on daily energy use to help you save money. You can control Nest from anywhere in your home (and even outside it) with your smartphone, including setting a personalised schedule.

2. Zuli
Make your home futuristic with these smartplugs that can turn on and off when you enter or leave a room. Once you’re connected to the Zuli app on your smartphone, it can also adapt to your personal temperature preferences so your home is always as cosy as you want it.

3. August Smart Lock
Keep safe with these virtual locks that auto-lock behind you when you leave the house, and automatically unlock when you approach your door. The 24/7 activity log helps you keep track of who enters and leaves your home, while the mechanism itself can be installed on the interior of your door, so your exterior looks unassumingly the same.

4. Beddi
This app-enabled alarm clock can be found in Indiegogo. It has USB ports for charging, a white noise maker to help you sleep and a sunrise simulator to gently wake you up before the alarm goes off. It also has Spotify so you can wake up to your favourite songs every day.

5. Planty
This intelligent, internet-connected planter allows you to water it remotely, making it easy for even the laziest or busiest of us to grow beautiful plants in our home. Simply plant some flowers and connect the device to your phone to see its progress.

6. Ikawa
This digital micro-coffee roaster delivers the smartest coffee ever – and actually tastes pretty good! Simply put your beans into the roaster, select the recipe you want using your smartphone, and wait 5-10 minutes as it goes to work.

7. Nebia
Nebia started life on Kickstarter, and was even given a pledge by Apple CEO Tim Cook. This energy-efficient shower head uses ‘H2MICRO’ technology to atomise water and create micro-droplets that can cover 10 times the surface area of a regular shower head. It also comes with a handy calculator to help you figure out how much water you’re saving.

8. Trilby
This hands-free smart speaker has radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and even streams Spotify! The makers recommend keeping Trilby in the kitchen so you can share messages, reminders and doodles with your family and friends. The speaker also allows you to make and answer calls!

9. iBaby Monitor
This high-tech baby monitor is a high-resolution wireless camera that connects to your smartphone or tablet. It has 360 degree movement, can record and share videos over a secure server and even alerts you when your baby wakes up. It can even play your baby lullabies and record your voice to keep your baby calm as you struggle out of bed.

10. Ulo
While we’re on the subject of cameras, this cute owl doubles as a secret surveillance camera which can alert you when it senses movement in the house. It sends live streams straight to your smartphone and you can even change the colour of its animated eyes.

F&F are nailing it right now. Their SS15 offering just gets better and better (see this week's new drops in our edit below) and their AW15 collection is seriously stunning.

We (very) nearly ripped the clothes right off the models' body at F&F's press day on Tuesday, the pieces were THAT lust-worthy.

No word of a lie, you are going to want everything when it drops later this year, but if we had to put our money on the IT item to bag, it has to be the suede mac. Watch this space..

Anyway, back to reality! What's hitting the metaphorical rails this week, which has got us so excited?

Well, first up is F&F's Great Lengths edit focusing on maxing up your style staples, playing with textures and taking your fashion cue from the likes of Sienna Miller and Jessica Alba.

Think long waistcoats, light knitted pieces and team with bandeau tops, loose fit pants and some 'hardware'- like cut out boots or thick soled sandals for a cool contrast.

At the opposite end of the scale there's New Ports Of Call, which focuses on key nautical pieces for SS15.

Mix and match your polka dots and stripes, your red and navy with some pop colour and rewrite the rules on traditional nautical in the process.

Now this is a picture of LA COOL in true form. We adore Kiaras [founder of tobruckave.blogspot.com] bold print put together. The fact that her playsuit is from our favourite City girl, Whitney Ports collection makes this outfit even more amazing. Please can we steal your wardrobe?! #LA #summer #prints #statement #monochrome #fashion #ootd
