Coachella weekend one may be over but the word on everyone’s lips is still ‘Beyonce’. The singer took to the stage in not one but five outfits for her headline performance on Saturday night and made history with her looks.

Bey collaborated with Olivier Rousteing, creative director of French fashion house Balmain for her performance on the Coachella main stage, creating bespoke outfits inspired by Balmain’s military-inspired AW collection.

We saw bright-yellow sweatshirts, glittering Balmain bodysuits, black and gold sequins and nods to the Black Panthers and Egyptian Queen, Nefertiti. Beyonce also rocked signature fishnets, denim cut-offs and bee accessories.

We loved each and every one of ‘Yonce’s looks so we’ve put together an edit to help you steal her style. Whether you’re heading to a festival or prepping for a night out, these statement pieces will help you channel your inner Queen Bey.

Another Coachella look I loved was this on Devin Brugman, one half of Monday Swimwear brand with Tasha Oakly. Devin has worn some amazing outfits at Coachella but this is definitely my favourite. The co-ord is by LA designer Lovers and Friends and I just love it. The white crochet is fab, perfect for a festival and the pom poms are such a fun addition making this outfit really pop. The bag complements these colours so well. If I can find a dupe for this I'll definitely be buying. Image: Instagram @devinbrugman

It's true that dressing for work everyday, especially if you work in the creative industries, can cause anxiety that you just don't need in your life. We’ve all experienced ‘decision-making stress’. It's actually why Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs used to wear the same "uniform" to work every day, so they’d have one less decision to worry about.

There are plenty of times when a simple trouser and shirt combo will do, but we tend to fall into the outfit trap of looking samey, especially during the winter season, sporting the same sweater a few days in a row.

How to create the perfect work capsule wardrobe…

Dressing for work shouldn't be difficult if you simply invest in a few key items. For example, opting for a versatile suit or a few blazers is a great idea because you can change the look up with shirts, jumpers or T-shirts. Then go for a really great pair of trousers coupled with work-ready sweaters.

If you want to step outside of the usual blazer and trousers uniform, opt for a midi skirt, a pair of corduroy pants or, if your workplace allows it, a statement jumpsuit. If you own the key ingredients it should be fairly easy to mix and match in order to create an elegant outfit Monday to Friday hassle-free.

After a decade of minimalism, sleek lines and simple colours, trends inspired by disco and the '70s are bringing bold textures back into fashion. From Gucci to Versace, designers reinvented the vintage trend with a modern twist, finding inspiration with IT girls Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber and eschewing the desire to blend in.

We love everything that sparkles and shines around Christmas and a sequinned number never goes amiss, but honestly, it's a shame to leave those glittering outfits hanging in our wardrobes for the rest of the year.

We're donning our sequins for spring, gearing up for a summer of festivals and long balmy evenings. We can't get enough of sequin embellishments on everything from heels, to clutch bags and evening gowns. Shop below and prepare to feel like the queen you are,...

As I discussed with Candice's look sometimes less is more when it comes to celebrity Met Gala outfits. Last year Kim Kardashian proved just that. She opted for a simple Vivienne Westwood full length white dress. True to her style it was fitted, accentuating her curves and there's an element of the bandage dress about it - again very Kim. Her hair is classic straightened and sleek. Nothing is need to dress this up, Kim is wearing it and that is enough. Image: Vogue.com

Sometimes the best of the Met Gala outfits are actually the most simple. As much as I adore the dramatic dresses and bold make up, the understated looks like Candice's last year can be the best. Candice wore a custom Topshop dress. Her figure looks insane in this sleeveless cut which accentuates her waist. She wears a couple of bangles on her wrist as the dress is definitely the focal point and her hair is off her face. Simple but elegant. Image: Vogue.com

This year's Met Gala is fast approaching. The 'Heavenly Bodies' theme is being highly anticipated now that we are just a few weeks away. In light of this I thought we should look back at a few of last year's outfits. Of course as soon as this year's are spotted I'll be talking about those too. 2017's theme was Comme Des Garçons and Rihanna brought it. Her dress was insane. Designed by Chinese designer Guo Pei this piece took two years to create. It was certainly hard to look away. Rihanna's eye make up beautifully coordinated with the dress's hues and the hair is subtly in homage to China, the origin of the dress. Image: Vogue.com

We're just a hop away from Easter and even though you wouldn't necessarily associate the holiday with fashion there are definitely a few outfits that can be absolute sartorial lifesavers during the long weekend. Whether you're spending your time with your beau on an exotic destination, having a cool getaway with friends or catching up with friends and family for a relaxing holiday back home here are a few of the trends you can try this Season:

Egg Hunt Chic

You can't possibly without a basket bag. Thankfully one of the biggest trends of the season is the wicker bag. Pair your stylish wicker accessory with a floral spring dress, hair accessories, comfy sandals and a leather jacket for chilly weather.

Family Dinner

For a family dinner opt for comfortable elegance. Go for a Victorian-inspired dress with comfy ankle boots a blanket scarf and an oversized bag to store all that takeaway Easter chocolate.

Couple Time

For a quality time abroad with your loved one choose an outfit that is chic yet practical. Take Zendaya's example and go for oversized tent pants paired with a matching crop top and sandals. Finish your look with a bold red lip and an essentials-only clutch.

Friends Getaway

For a quick Spring break weekend with your best mates, choose an outfit that allows you to enjoy your time without compromising your style. Try the embellished sneaker trend and mix it with an LBD some glitter makeup and a cross body bag that frees your arms for fist-pumping and dancing all night long.

How will you be spending this Easter holiday? Shop your essentials from our expert edit below!
