People magazine have obtained a joint statement regarding Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce, explaining that they are going to keep their divorce private by hiring a private judge.

The statement reads "The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues".

The statement concludes that "The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification".

The couple are parents to six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. We're glad this pair are putting their children first throughout the divorce, but it still breaks our hearts that Brangelina are no more...

Yesterday, the new First Lady Melania Trump and her husband, President Elect Donald Trump made their way to the White House to meet with current First Lady and President Michelle and Barack Obama (respectively).

These two vastly different women appeared to enjoy tea together as their husbands glumly shook hands for an official photographer (Let's be honest, the photos of Mr. Trump and President Obama shaking hands aren't exactly what they'd look like had Senator Clinton won the election).

@realDonaldTrump tweeted yesterday, "A fantastic day in D.C. Met with President Obama for the first time. Really good meeting, really great chemistry. Melania liked Mrs. O a lot!"

The torch will soon pass from one First Lady to another, and media outlets are already predicting Melania will fulfil the duties of First Lady as more of a Jackie O character than Michelle, Eleanor Roosevelt, or even Laura Bush.

We can only speculate whether or not this is due to Melania's glamorous background as a fashion model or because of her marriage to a billionaire tycoon.

Scroll right through our gallery above to see memorable outfits Michelle has sported throughout her time as First Lady, and looks worn by the new First Lady Melania as she supported her husband on the campaign trail!

Is he 'the one'? What even is 'the one'? Is the idea of having a perfect match, one 'love of your life', 'Mr Right' a little outdated? Well, yes, the Disney version is. Hate to break it to you but you're unlikey to find your soul mate the first time round. You'll kiss (bang) a few frogs, settle for a couple of safe bets and get your heart broken by a love rat, but there is still hope.

Think of 'the one' as being 'the right one' rather than 'the perfect one'. Because there's no such thing as perfect. You're not a Disney Princess- that sounds harsh, but you ain't. Can you talk to animals, swing down buildings by your hair or heal broken legs with your magic locks? Nah, you can't. And if you could you'd hopefully be a superhero not some princess searching for their prince. So, since you're not a Disney Princess, you're not going to find your Prince Charming.

The one, in reality, is your best friend who you'd happily spend the rest of your life with- there will be fights, tears and heartbreak, but if they're the one you'll both love and support each other through it all.

1. You Make Sacrifices For Each Other

You make sacrifices for one another, and your life together, but never try and change each other.

2. You Feel Comfortable Planning

The thought of planning a holiday with your last fella filled you with dread, but with this one you're happy to make plans months, christ even years, into the future.

3. You Share Similar Values

No, this doesn't mean you have to agree on everything. After all, opposites do attract, but only in regards to personality quirks and passions, not core values. If you don't agree on kids/marriage/politics and other big lifestyle factors, then you won't work out. It's all well and good loving one another, but if one of you sees kids as a deal breaker and the other doesn't then maybe it's time to face the music.

4. Love Is The Easy Party

He's the one when you realise that being in love is the easy part, and the rest of having a relationship is the hard part. It's the daily squabbles about washing up, bills and who last cleaned the bathroom that take work, if he's the one then the loving and supporting one another is the easy part, and life is the hard bit.

5. He's Your Bestie

You tell him everything, you don't keep secrets, you're not embarrassed to express your feelings and he's the first person you want to tell about your day. Grab onto that kind of love, it'll last a lot longer than the dude with really good abs who doesn't care about that amazing sandwich you ate for lunch.

Since news of the Brangelina divorce was made public on Monday morning, the now former hollywood power couple caused havoc in the socialsphere in which memes featuring Jennifer Aniston spread like wildfire.

Brad and Angelina have given their separate statements concerning the impending divorce but where does Jen stand on the matter? The actress, 47, is now married to Justin Theroux and has kept schtum publicly.

According to sources who dished dirt to Us Weekly however, the Friends star considers what has come between Brangelina "karma."

"She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually," the source said. "She didn't feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to be with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He's a pretty simple guy."

A second source reveals to Us Weekly that although Jennifer "admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina's split...she never wanted this for them or wished this upon them."

The source also said that "Jen does wish Brad luck and the best. She feels like she's happy, and she wants him to be happy too. Jen does not hold on to any negativity from her marriage to Brad."

If you haven't heard the news yet: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are getting a divorce, after two years of marriage!

Scroll right through our gallery to see the top Twitter reactions as news broke of the split!

The celebrity couple is no stranger to the tabloids, after their tumultuous past. Brad and Angelina met during the filming of Mr. & Mrs. Smith - but Brad was married to Jennifer Aniston. Rumors circled, then suddenly Brad divorced Jen. Two months later, he was on vacation with Angelina and her kids. They were soon married in a small ceremony, and now have 6 kids together. So the divorce announcement came as a shock!

Brad is working on "Allied" with Marion Cotillard, leading to rumors that he and Marion are having an affair. However, sources close to Brad and Angelina have come out and said that the affair rumors are untrue.

Instead, Angelina is filing for divorce because of Brad's alcohol and marijuana use. Brad has confirmed that the divorce is happening, but asks the press to keep the kids out of it. Angelina plans to ask for equal legal custody but full physical custody.

If you haven’t already been bombarded with wedding photos and relationship status updates from dozens of smiling couples lately, you’d better brace yourself for what’s about to clog up your social media feeds next month!

Like June, September is another peak month for getting hitched in the U.S. Despite 40-50% of married couples divorcing in this country (the divorce rate for subsequent marriages is even higher), America’s wedding industry is now valued at $55 billion.

If you’re sick to death of all the wedding talk that’s been happening around you, it may be time to come out of the Missing Bride Gene Closet. Not sure if that’s quite you? Here are 7 signs you’re missing the bride gene...

1) You think wearing white is lame. You haven’t been a virgin in like, forever, and believe the “innocence of girlhood” dies the moment you get a fake ID.

2) It’s 2am and you and a girlfriend are the last stragglers propping up the bar. The conversation turns to marriage and while the idea may or may not be appealing, you get bored the moment she starts tearing up and regaling you with how she’s always dreamed of what her wedding day would be like.

3) The thought of spending thousands - if not tens of thousands - of dollars on anything other than world travel, upgrading to a better apartment, or even splurging for a new wardrobe makes you queasy.

4) …You also can’t stomach the idea of standing up in front of everybody and making a public declaration of love to your significant other for everyone to ohh and ahh at.

5) Elopement seems preferable to evolving from "blushing bride" to full on bridezilla.

6) You cling to the hope that surely, SURELY the biggest or most significant moment in a woman’s life isn’t necessarily the day she gets married, right?

7) You’re constantly reminding everyone it’s 2016 and that there are plenty of happy couples who’ve spent decades together without having a wedding or even getting married.

Still not sure if you really are missing the bride gene? Watch the above scenes from Sex and the City (2008) to compare which character you're most likely to react like when your BFF says she's engaged!

How often do you see a supermodel marry a computer nerd? Well, if that nerd is the founder and CEO of Snapchat, Miranda Kerr wants to snap him right up! After dating him for only a year, Miranda announced her engagement to Evan Spiegel this Wednesday via Instagram. Ouch, not via Snapchat?

Seriously though, they look like a cute couple. Miranda's been married before, to actor Orlando Bloom, but that ended in 2013. Here's hoping that this marriage outlasts her previous one!

...In embarrassing America.

Whether you’re a Trump supporter or not, you can’t deny it’s preferable to have a presidential candidate who doesn’t sh*t all over women, ethnic minorities, the LGBT community and pretty much anyone that isn’t themselves.

No candidate is squeaky clean but surely this guy can’t be the lesser evil?

Read on for 10 times Donald Trump opened his mouth and exceeded expectations in embarrassing America on an international scale:

1) “I will build a great wall - an nobody builds a wall better than me, believe me - and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

2) "When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs They’re bring [sic] crime. They’re rapists…And some, I assume are good people.”

3) “Happy #CincoDeMayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!”

4) But don’t worry, it’s not just Mexico Donald likes to offend: “We can’t continue to allow China to rape our country.”

5) In a statement released by Trump’s campaign in December after the mass shooting in San Bernardino, CA.: "Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on."

6) “I was down there, and I watched our police and our firemen, down on 7-eleven, down at the World Trade Center, right after it came down."

7) He may have backtracked on this but the damage has been done. This is what Trump thought/thinks about women who seek abortions: “There has to be some form of punishment.”

8) Trump said about his anti-Muslim policy in the final Republican debate last year, “They’re not coming to this country if I’m president. And if Obama has brought some to this country they are leaving, they’re going, they’re gone."

9) On gay marriage: “I just don’t feel good about it. I don’t feel right about it. I’m against it…I’m opposed to gay marriage."

10) This is just downright weird: “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d been dating her."

If you’re 30+ and fabulously single, you might have started to notice that the rules of ‘The Dating Game’ have changed from when you were in your 20s.

As you get older and more experienced, your relationship checklist adjusts and you might find yourself somewhat lost when it comes to dating.

If you’re tired of watching your single friends rapidly coupling up and leaving you behind, these seven tips for dating in your 30’s might help:

1. Leave the past behind
You’ve probably dealt with your fair share of heartbreak, from broken relationships to sudden bereavements. But, put all this aside on your date, focus on the present and be optimistic about the future. Remember, your new date has more possibilities than disappointments!

2. Don’t be put off by divorcees
The divorce rate in America is roughly between 42 and 50 percent, so you’re likely to come across divorcees in your dates. Don’t be put off by this, and let them take the lead when it comes to discussing their marriage.

3. Have fun!
When you’re on your date, focus on having fun and getting to know the person. Try not to grill your date about their priorities for the future. Instead, think sincere but light-hearted when it comes to first date conversation.

4. Know what you want, but compromise
As you grow older, you’ll probably become increasingly aware of what you want and need from a relationship. Take some time to figure this out if you haven't already.

That being said, it’s also important to learn to compromise – your perfect relationship might just be hidden behind the messy eater, bad-joke-teller or sloppy dresser.

5. Communicate
Communication is key when it comes to any relationship, new or long-term. Talk to your date openly and honestly from the very beginning, and establish good communication habits as your relationship grows.

6. Trust your instincts
Your ‘Not-The-One-For-Me’ instincts are probably well-honed by now. If you’re finding that your date is leaving you feeling uneasy, unimpressed, uncomfortable or just disinterested, trust your gut and move on.

7. Be yourself
It’s never a good idea to pretend to be someone you’re not, and especially not when you’re on a date with your potential LTR. Be yourself and own who you are, and your date will be impressed by your confidence.

Amal Clooney is more than just a style icon, of course. The prominent British human rights lawyer has long been making the news on her own, as a brilliant and respected career woman.

However, that doesn't mean we can't admire her for both her brain and her impeccable style. Oh yeah, and a marriage to 90's heartthrob George Clooney doesn't hurt either!

Amal stepped out in London in a gorgeous teal ombre suede trench coat, over a high necked grey dress and black tights. Steal her style below!

What a sad, sad Monday news for us. We thought they'd make it, but we were wrong. As of this afternoon, No Doubt singer, Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale called it quits after 13 years of marriage.

The couple released a joint divorce statement via different media publications such as US Magazine, Associated Press, etc. where they stated:

"While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time"

The couple has 3 kids, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. Stefani have cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakup and the couple are seeking for joint custody of their children.
