Selena Gomez has taken to Instagram to show a first-look at her new campaign for Louis Vuitton. The campaign, entitled 'Series 5', was shot by the infamous photographer Bruce Weber. Following a cover for Vogue Brazil in May, featuring Selena and Nicholas Ghesquiere there were a lot of rumours about the fashion house and singer working together.

Selena hinted back in May on Instagram about the campaign by captioning the photograph of her Vogue cover with 'Exciting things to come'. This meant that the venture was't much of a surprise but nonetheless she looks fierce and unlike we've ever seen her before!

The dark brown lip, oversized faux fur hat and geometric print crop-top all create the perfect autumn/winter'16 look that highlights the star of the show- no, not Selena- the bag.

The second image of Selena that has been released shows her in a feminine panelled dress with ruffling detail on the hem which counteracts the chunky heeled boot styled with it. Once again she is showcasing a dark lip which is one of this season's must-have beauty trends; by keeping the rest of her make-up minimal the look is more wearable.

No-one does a show like Chanel. Don't get me wrong, Vuitton and Saint Laurent can pull off incredible runways, but when it comes to set pieces, Lagerfeld's imagination is like no other.

Case in point- he showed his Cruise collection for Chanel in Cuba on Tuesday, with celebs like Gisele, Vin Diesel, Vanessa Paradis and Tilda Swinton all getting their party on with the locals.

An open air show which allowed Cubans to watch and mingle with the guests? Genius. A focus away from the usual Kendall & Gigi circus? Really pretty brave, given the coverage they generate. Instead we got Stella Tennant (a brilliant British talent) and local Cuban models ruling the runway.

As for the fashion? Well, when does Karl ever get it wrong? Gorgeous ruffles, metallic brogues, panama hats, khaki jackets, and my favourite Cuban touch- the sequinned Che Guevara berets.

Although there's always a sense of fun with Chanel runways, this one really came alive with the party spirit. Here's to next year!

Le Satin By Night

Ever wonder what influence being a girl gamer can have on your wardrobe? We have and here are 5 style tricks we learned from some of our favourite leading ladies...

1) Capes are cool - So iconic are Lighting from Final Fantasy's fashion and beauty choices that she’s become a Louis Vuitton muse; captured by game artist Testuya Nomura modelling the brand's garments and accessories.

2) Utility's a fashion #win - In the Square Enix reboot, Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider sees Lara sporting vests, utility trousers and weather appropriate outdoor wear on an athletic frame she’s worked to keep!

3) All-leather-everything ain’t just for Halloween - Forget Catwoman; Miranda Lawson of Bioware’s Mass Effect series is all about head-to-toe leather whenever, wherever.

4) Chokers weren’t just a ‘90s cry for help - They may have had their run in Victorian times but Trish from Devil May Cry stuck to her guns, keeping to true to her gothic style and making us all realise chokers and corset tops are totally kick-ass.

5) Hoodies are an occupational fashion hazard - Spymaster Leliana from Dragon Age put us to shame when she shows up to work everyday with a clean, well kept hood over her hair.
