Getting a tattoo is a big commitment. It will be on your body for the rest of your life, so it's best to make sure you get one that you don't regret. As tempting as it may be, I would advise not getting a name, especially of a boyfriend because relationships change and nothing can ever be defined as 100% certain. • Think about the design. Do you want something simple or something detailed? The design you choose is the one you're stuck with so make sure you love it. Tattoo designs that are trending at the moment appear to be floral ones and animals. For example, how many celebs have a lion tattoo? Cough, cough, Cara Delevingne, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber. • Do you want the tattoo to be in colour or black and grey? Again this depends on the design and whether colour would suit it or not. Make sure you know exactly what colours you're going to choose, even before you visit the tattoo shop. • It's better to plan rather than be spontaneous. Sure, spontaneous tattoos create funny memories and you can always laugh at them later on, but most spontaneous tattoos end in regret. Prime example (especially abroad) the tramp stamp. • Look at other designs for inspiration. If you're not entirely sure about how to design your tattoo or what you want it to look like, look at some designs online. Pinterest is especially good for this. After you've got some inspiration you can discuss what you want with your tattoo artist. This gives them more of an idea and makes it easier for them to come up with a design for you. • Think about cost. Depending on the size and how detailed the design is, tattoos can be expensive. Obviously, smaller, less detailed tattoos are cheaper, whilst tattoos that cover nearly your whole body will be very pricey. So, make sure you save up for your tattoo and more importantly decide how big you want it. • This is perhaps one of the main points to think about and that is deciding where on your body you want your tattoo to be. You need to also think about work and future jobs and whether the position of your tattoo will be acceptable for a particular role. The tattoos most easiest to hide will be on your legs (mainly thighs) and your back or chest. For smaller tattoos, you could think about getting one on your wrist or your foot. Remember a tattoo is for life, so don't just get one because it is coming up to Christmas!

Tommy Hilfiger doesn't do things by half. So, yes, he did close off an entire road in Los Angeles, a section of Venice Beach, erect fairground rides/food trucks/a stage (where Fergie and Lion Babe performed) and dub it Tommyland. Subtle, right?

3,000 guests watched, as a plethora of supermodels - whom Tommy flew in on a chartered plane called 'Air Tommy' before NYFW today - walked. Gigi Hadid led the brigade, with her sister Bella Hadid and the iconic Joan Smalls.

The pieces were so-cal, bohemian and all-American, see our fave looks in the gallery above...

The nominees for the 89th Academy Awards are out, and it seems like the picks for Best Picture are the creme de la creme of 2016. It's certainly going to be a tough category to pick a winner from, since each film is so unique and amazing in it's own right. We found some fun facts about each of the nominated films, which makes each one even more special! So, which one are you rooting for?

Arrival: Renowned scientist and tech innovator Stephen Wolfram and his son Christopher Wolfram were consulted to ensure all terminology, graphics and depictions were sound.

Fences: When Paramount Studios originally had the film rights to the play in the 1990s, Eddie Murphy was being considered for the male lead.

Hacksaw Ridge: Director Mel Gibson wanted the war situation to be realistic because the battle for Okinawa resulted in the greatest loss of life in the South Pacific during World War II.

Hell or High Water: While shooting the film, Chris Pine got to play country and western music with his costar and music icon Jeff Bridges.

Hidden Figures: The three women in the film, Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson and Dorothy Vaughan, helped the United States catch up in the “space race” and send John Glenn, who recently passed away at the age of 95, into orbit around Earth.

La La Land: This film has picked up 14 Oscar nominations this year, tying the record held by Hollywood legends such as Titanic and All About Eve.

Lion: Nicole Kidman filmed all her scenes in Melbourne and Hobart, Australia.

Manchester by the Sea: Critics are calling this film Casey Affleck’s “best work ever”

Moonlight: In preparation for her role, Naomie Harris watched interviews of those with addiction to crack cocaine, and met with addicted women. She related her experiences of bullying to the addicts’ attempts of escaping trauma.

While we wait to see which film snags the award this year, we thought we'd look back at the red carpet wonders of last year's Oscar awards. Scroll through our gallery above for our picks for best dressed!

Elton John won the first Brits Icon in 2013 for his “lasting impact on British culture”. Indeed, his unique and quirky style and albums upon albums of popular, catchy songs have influenced countless musicians that followed him.

He's snagged six Grammy Awards, five Brit Awards, an Academy Award (for Can You Feel The Love Tonight in The Lion King), a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award, a Disney Legend Award and the Kennedy Centre Honors.

He’s also been invited to perform at a number of royal events (including a touching tribute to Diana at her funeral with Candle In The Wind), awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire and was even made a Knight Bachelor.

Away from music, Elton is involved in the fight against AIDS, championing LGBT rights and speaking out for same-sex marriage.

Can you use our clue to figure out his age?

Clue: Elton John was 46 years old when he first hosted his Academy Award Party - one of the most high-profile Oscar parties in Hollywood.

Got it yet?…

Last chance…

Elton John is …

68 years old!

He was born on the 25th of March 1947.

She's been keeping it on the down-low but today, Cara Delevingne celebrates her 23rd birthday! With much less fanfare than Kylie Jenner's super sweet 18th earlier on in the week, it seems Cara's been using her powers of fame and fortune for good rather than well, nothing at all (here's looking at YOU Kylie).

Supporting the Oxford conservationists in funding the Hwange Lion Programme, Cara's TAG Heuer Signature Edition watch has been auctioned off to an anonymous bidder, selling for £9,300. All of the money will be given to WildCRU at the Oxford University Department of Zoology.

Having shared her sadness at Cecil the Lion's merciless killing, Cara wrote on Instagram: "The killing of Cecil the Lion was a tragedy. Help the scientists who care about the future of wild lions in Africa and work very hard on their conservation."

To celebrate Cara's birthday and her blossoming acting career, scroll through our gallery and revel in 5 times Cara's eyebrows ruled the red carpet ;)

From floor-length plunge dresses to shimmery metallic numbers, shop below to steal her red carpet prowess and get your hands on brow kits, brow gels AND brow liners!

It's holiday time! By now you'll have probably started planning/dreaming of your holidays for 2015 and if you're lucky enough to go on an escape within the next month or so - that's even better!

For sun seekers who just can't wait to start tanning by the pool or beach, swimwear will undoubtedly be your first priority - but there's no harm in indulging in a brand new pair of espadrilles from My Name is Lolo or fantastical beach cover up by Ted Baker to add some oomph to your holiday style!

For those who'd much rather be hitting the slopes, take the time to curate a holiday wardrobe that lets you look as cool as ice even during your downtime at the lodge. Topshop's Break Hearts Jumpsuit by Cameo, the Lion Head Waistbelt in black and House of Fraser's Michael Kors faux fur coat lets you do just that ;)
