With LCM just over the show has moved to Milan for fashion week. But what have we learned so far? Well London got us pumped for #SS17 with style to boot. Embroidery was one of the biggest trends along with wide leg floaty trousers, & of course all the stripe fans won't be let down. There was also a retro vibe with track tops being a main feature & plenty of soft and shiny satin like fabrics.

So why wait? Get a head start on next summer by shopping these trends right now.

With news of David Bowie's passing yesterday, designers showing on the last day of LC:M flocked to pay the style icon tribute. Given Bowie's profound influence on fashion, the face of Burberry's SS16 campaign Hayett McCarthy walked the runway with Bowie's name splashed across her open palms.

The fashion houses' AW16 mens collection show also featured music by the legendary singer before and after the show - "Changes" and "Oh You Pretty Things." Other models wore Ziggy Stardust inspired glitter under their eyes; a last minute make-up decision based on the news of Bowie's passing.

Sir Paul Smith displayed a framed picture of himself and Bowie at his presentation while also sharing the image on Instagram with the caption "With great sympathy."

Katie Eary's AW16 collection drew inspiration from The Sacred Triangle - Bowie, Iggy & Lou 1971-1973, a documentary showing the era in which Bowie worked closely with Iggy Pop and Lou Reed. The finished line-up featured crushed velvet jackets, silver trousers and silk shirts.

There’s something gloriously understated about men’s fashion week in the capital. No over the top fanfare, just incredible shows, a good smattering of celebrities and brilliant parties.

One of the highlights of London Collections: Men is Belstaff- enjoying something of a renaissance in the past five years thanks to in part, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock favouring them and a whole host of celeb fans- Dermot O'Leary, David Gandy and Labrinth to name but a few!

Here’s five things we learned from Belstaff for next season…

1. The arctic is coming: Many a male model was wrapped up in oversized jackets, roll necks, and furry hoods. Clearly they are predicting a cold winter this 2016.

2. Learn to love PVC: Waterproof warmers are what it’s all about for AW16.

3. The Michelin Man is your new icon: Puffas are back, which means you can keep warm without looking like an idiot. Hell yes.

4. It’s all about the accessories: This season showed how versatile Belstaff are- showing gloves, mittens, backpacks and cashmere scarfs.

5. Look to the past: It’s just been announced that Sir Ranulph Fiennes will be the new face of Belstaff. The famous writer and explorer has been shot by Rankin and will appear in the press on Jan 25. Well played, Belstaff.

A massive highlight of LC:M is the KTZ show and last night’s extravaganza did not disappoint.

A strong undercurrent of Rule Britannia was present throughout, but brought up to date with a modern twist- the flag in black, red and white.

Other themes included strong geometric prints, stripes, leather and oversized baseball jackets.

Essentially a crowd pleaser, the collection was certainly a break from the more muted colour palettes we’ve seen so far at LC:M AW16. The shocking scarlet, black and white offering worked a treat.

Roll on AW16 for KTZ womenswear- it’s sure to be a treat!

Celebrity offspring Brooklyn Beckham (eldest son of Posh and Becks) was one of a number of celebutantes/models to step out for the Burberry menswear AW16 show at LC:M on Monday in London.

Brooklyn was joined by David Gandy as well as Jude Law's son Rafferty at the event. Brookyln was dressed in a strip sweater with black super skinny jeans and a Burberry coat.
