Our latest crush is faux septum rings, aka fake nose rings that sit between both nostrils.

Why, you ask? Well, the answer is easy. They look absolutely gorgeous, don’t require the commitment of a real piercing, come in every variety from flashes to super-subtle, and add a super cool edge to your look.

Seriously, everything looks more attractive with a septum piercing. If you don’t believe us, have a look at the pics above!

The magic of accessories? They can instantly spruce up the dullest of outfits, and give a good outfit a Beyonce status, ergo taking its glam factor up by roughly 100%.

It's been several seasons since Sonam wooed Cannes (and the world) with her naath, but it seems as if the ethnic jewellery hangover continues.

It's official, ladies! Traditional Indian trinkets have gone mainstream.

If you're getting ready for your best friend's wedding, you know that just a pair of jhumkis is not enough. Add a jewelled headgear, and an ear cuff too!

All the cool girls are taking their ethic baubles to the after party as well. Feel like a Goddess with our edit below!

Move over statement jewelry, delicate, understated pieces are having a major moment right now.

Update your jewel box with petite studs, rings, bracelets and necklaces in metallic hues.

Allow yourself too be charm-ed with the moon and the stars. Rule of thumb: the daintier, the better.

P.S. Don’t be afraid of layering! You can never be wearing too much.

Sonam Kapoor made an appearence at the Mumbai Most Stylish event this week, dressed in a pale mint gown from Elie Saab and jewelery from Gehna. The bronzer contoured her face very well, as she looked quite poised and charming in the subtle avatar. The make-up was basic and went well with the elegant outfit. Our Take away from the look--mint is a good colour to invest in this season--be it your dress, shoes or makeup--just avoid wearing all at the same time though..
