This season the desert tones of the wild west are everywhere. Muted yellow, dusty rose and warm, glowing tan are dominating our Instagram feeds. These tones evoke a sense of mystery and adventure - think lonesome cowgirls with tumbledown tresses and freckled noses chasing the sun across the dunes.

It’s no wonder Roxy made the romantic outlaw their muse for the summer collection. Their latest swimwear offering blends timeless silhouettes with maverick twists and draws on western staples like oversized button-downs, artisan embroidery and bold earthy hues.

Our favourite pieces for long relaxing days in the sun include the Little Bandits one-piece suit#1155cc"> in berry and blue-toned botanical print, the gorgeous Bohemian Vibes Athletic Tri Bikini Top and matching bikini bottoms. As always, Roxy lead the way with cool-girl aesthetics and functional design. Soft resistant stretch fabrics make the new collection as ideal for sunbathing as it is for water sports and island adventures.

Come sundown, throw a chunky knit over your western-inspired bikini - we love the Livin’ Sunday Cardigan for understated beach babe vibes. If you hurry you can snatch the cardigan and an array of other special finds with an extra 30% OFF as part of the Roxy Memorial Day Sale.

Are you ready to channel your inner outlaw?

This summer is all about the humble polka dot – the classic trend is having a moment and we’re not mad about it.

Polka dots ruled last season’s shows with the likes of Jacquemus, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy showcasing dotty pieces in Paris. We saw beautiful ruffled tops, silk dresses and A-line skirts adorned with spots and now, the polka dot trend is still going strong with Balenciaga, Self-Portrait, Mary Katrantzou, Dior and Giorgio Armani rocking them for SS18.

Street style favourites like Farfetch’s Yasmin Sewell and blogger Camille Charrière have taken to stepping out in dots and we’ve taken a few style tips from them on how to wear the trend this season…

For after dark

Follow Rodarte’s lead for spring and opt for dainty polka dots on fluffy tulle gowns. Soften prints and patterns with swooping silhouettes, sweetheart-neck dresses and soft fabrics in classic black and white. Just add stilettos and gold-toned accessories.

Get shirty

Pair a slip-style dotty dress with a fresh white shirt for an office-ready look. Opt for a ruffled Victoriana style or mix it up with a menswear-style piece or off-shoulder design. Add cool mules and a smart tote to finish the look.

Maximalism

Channel Jason Wu vibes by going for asymmetric silhouettes, ruffled styles, wrap-fronts and cold shoulders. Clashing spots and bright colors are great for elevating your look too. Polka dots don’t always have to be black and white.

Go oversized

Opt for XXL spots with a punk-rock twist á la Junya Watanabe and dial your dress down with a pair of cool sneakers, a basket bag and a stack of cool bangles.

A well-crafted bag is the perfect daytime accessory for men that are always on the go. Sure, it’s easy to just rock a sporty backpack, but why go for one when instead, you could opt for something guaranteed to take your outfit up a notch. From messenger bags to backpacks and briefcases, we’ve selected the best for the new season, so you don’t have to…

The multipurpose backpack

Go for a black leather backpack for a casual day outfit that you can sport from the office to the gym. Opt for a bag with different compartments so that you can safely store your laptop away from your other essentials.

The updated briefcase

For a more classic look, choose a briefcase in a neutral color versatility is key for a successful business wardrobe.

The messenger bag

Bigger, bolder and definitely a more creative look, go for a messenger bag that you can easily hold from classes to the gym to drinks.

Upcycle old furniture

Take your old pieces and repurpose them. Tables, chairs, even an old ladder can be used as a chic set of shelving to showcase your plants. Think big Want a lush green garden but don’t have much space?Just start with potted plants. Take a planter for small spaces and fill it with stones, greenery and decorations.

Invest in a fire pit

Make the most of your deck by turning it into a cosy hang-out area. Bring a fire pit onto the scene or create your own with the space beneath your patio table. This way you can still enjoy you summer days outside without compromising on space.

Multipurpose pieces

Invest in a table and chairs that you can use to put your feet up and enjoy a sangria on a sunny day but that can also stack away easily or be used to  show off greenery and store useful items.

Get a mini bench

Try a slim piece seating to fit against a wall. Top it with throw pillows, plants or a cool night lamp to add a layer of interest This way you can add a corner full of character without taking up too much space.

The World Cup has officially begun and we’re already speculating over which teams are likely to make it through the first few rounds. Come on, who doesn’t love cheering their team on?

Though we enjoy a little healthy competition, we must admit, a football shirt and jeans isn’t exactly our go-to look. As for face-paint and themed accessories, forget it. Sure, we’ll be rooting for our home team but we’d rather show our support without making any sartorial compromises.

To ensure we’re looking on-point for every match, we’ve given the term ‘sports luxe’ a whole new meaning and put together an edit of our favourite pieces from the coolest high-end retailers to match our beloved teams’ football strips.

From luxe leather jackets to statement dresses and day-to-night boots, whether you’re cheering for England, France, Serbia or Brazil, you’ll be nailing your outfit game and certainly won’t look out of place in the stands.

Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in stress. We all know what it's like when pressure mounts at work and at home. Despite your hardest efforts to relax it's challenging to unwind without a little help. But you deserve to relax and luckily there are many successful stress busters that can help relieve your anxiety in less than 15 minutes.

We picked out a few of our favourites to help you out. Here are best ways to fight stress and relax wherever you are...

Meditate

Just a few minutes of practice per day can help ease stress. According to research, a daily meditation session can transform the brain's neural pathways making you more resilient to stress and better at regulating your thoughts.

Get fit

Exercise is your go-to tip to combat those strung-out feelings because believe it or not, putting physical stress on your body through exercise can help relieve mental stress.

People who exercise regularly are less like to experience anxiety because exercise lowers the body's stress hormones and helps release endorphins aka the all-natural happiness drug.

Take supplements

There are several supplements that are used to reduce stress and anxiety. Look for supplements that feature ingredients such as Omega-3 fatty acids, green tea, Lemon balm or valerian root known for its ability to relax the body and aid a gentler sleep.

Editor’s tip: Don't forget to consult your doctor before taking supplements as some can interact with medications or have side effects.

Light a candle

Invest in a few soothing essential oils or burn a scented candle to reduce your feelings of anxiety. Some scents, such as lavender, rose, bergamot, chamomile and orange blossom, are incredibly calming.

Spa at home

Indulge in a luxurious spa experience at home. Simply prepare a bath with salts, scrubs, scents and music and get your pamper on.

Avoid procrastination

The best way to take control of your stress is to work on eliminating your  triggers. A big one is procrastination.Instead of stressing about all the things you should have been doing, take charge, be proactive and wave goodbye to procrastination. Get yourself a notepad and get into the habit of making a to-do list every day and prioritizing your tasks.

Ready to unwind? Which of these tips will you be trying? Head to our edit and shop all the essentials for a stress-free week now...

One of the hottest pieces to own right now is a kimono. Dating back to 14th century Japan, the robe-style jacket has been a street style favorite in recent years and shows no signs of letting up. Although there are  a wide array of lengths, patterns and fabrics ranging from casual to luxe printed silk, a kimono has the power to  instantly jazz up your outfit without much effort.

Our Editors have agreed on the four ways you’ll want to wear your kimono this summer so take note, fashion fans...

Go simple

Choose a pair of high-waisted jeans, a basic tee and throw on your kimono of choice. Pair your outfit with mules or Greek-style sandals for undeniable summer wow factor.

Go tonal

Don your favorite shade of cover-up and opt for a  tonal color from head to toe. No denim necessary, just rock your go-to hue. For the beach

For a great holiday look simply wear your kimono over a one-piece swimsuit and pair it with slides, an XXL beach bag and your signature sunnies.

Do stripes

Don't be afraid to experiment with different prints and patterns. A striped cover-up is your go-to as an alternative office jacket. Pair it with slim fit pants, a blouse, a wicker bag and sunnies for an effortlessly cool look.
