This is not a drill: new Mansur Gavriel styles have just landed on Mytheresa.com fresh off the runway. ‘See it, love it, buy it’ is usually how it goes with the New York based brand’s It bags and shoes but, as this is the first time their ready-to-wear will be stocked as well, we expect this drop to sell out pronto. There’s no doubt about it anymore, MG is taking over your wardrobe one colourfully minimal piece at a time, and has captured the hearts and wardrobes of stylish women worldwide. From a colour-blocked bucket bag to a full- blown offering of essential knitwear, boardroom-to-bar dresses and more, the now-cult brand’s clean and sophisticated aesthetic stays the same. Everything’s free from surface embellishment, bar their discrete logo, so the impeccable materials and craftsmanship can be admired in all their glory.

We can’t think of a better way to sample 2018’s sweet pastel trend than with Mansur Gavriel’s chic lemon, candy floss pink and lavender basics. Think smooth silk shirts and tops and you definitely won’t be missed in an elegantly sheer layered midi dress, which comes in traffic-stopping red as well as this delicious pink. And why buy another iconic leather bucket alone, available here in new colourways and sizes, when you could broaden your collection with a tote, circle crossbody or even a roomy travel bag in classic and contemporary tones. Let the array of suede, shearling lined, and heeled boots put the spring in your step and you’ll be itching to show off your pedicure in the open-toed mules and sandals as soon as the weather permits.

Check out the collection highlights in the gallery above then shop your favourite styles in the exciting edit below.

Although last season designers were trading the New York catwalks for British and Parisian shows, this year it seems that London has followed New York's example. Most notably, Topshop abandoned the runway for its traditional Unique show while Emporio Armani and  Tommy Hilfiger also forewent the shows as they were a big departure from London's experimental design team. However, LFW is all about fresh designers, innovative thinking unexpected garments, and bold statements.

THE NEWCOMERS

AV Robertson who designed for Marc Jacobs and Presented at Fashion East is one of the emerging designers to watch. Matty Bovan is a press favourite already as she made the cut of The Kids Are Alright in British Vogue's January issue. After earning the Emerging Womenswear Designer award at the Fashion Awards in September, Michael Halpern is constructing an ambitious production and a much-anticipated collection.

THE VETS

We'll witness the departure of Christopher Bailey from Burberry on Saturday after 17 years with the House. Johny Coca from Mulberry will be back on the London stage after a small detour to Paris in September, while Delpozo is bringing ball gowns to London in the place of Ralph & Russo. We're really excited to see JW Anderson whose missed the usual Men's show but is putting on his first co-ed collection.

THE REGULARS

Even though we may be missing a few names from the list, we can still count on Roksanda, Erdem and Christopher Kane to impress at LFW. Newcomer Michael Halpern will throw a soiree with Brows while Gareth Pugh is hosting a decadent party of his own. Sunday is all about Edward Enninful's British Vogue BAFTA party that will follow after the ceremony.Ready for a taste of London Fashion Week? Scroll down below and shop everything British!

Oh, I adored this makeup look from Chloe Morello. Even if Chloe recently tattooed her eyebrows and lips, and has eyelash extension. she's is the best example on how to make this procedure look really natural. Enhancing what she has, with minimal makeup products to make her face look fresh and youthful and not too made up. Photo Credit: @chloemorello on Twitter #beauty #makeup #youtuber #eyelashextensions

New York Fashion Week runs from today until next Wednesday, February 14th following the Men's collections February 5th- 8th. However, this New York Fashion Week is different than the rest. It's following on a wave of changes that was initiated last season when Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra and Thom Browne moved their presentations to Paris. Tome's Ramon Martin and Ryan Lobo also joined the pack of designers leaving New York for Paris. While the controversial collaboration of Rihanna's Fenty x Puma received many accolades and the quintessential American spirit brand of Ralph Lauren hosted his show in his Bedford garage. This season more designers are striking on their own accord while two are coming out of town.

THE OUT-OF-TOWNERS

Tomas Maier is celebrating the opening of his Madison Avenue store and is visiting his Bottega Venetta show from Milan to New York for one season. Maier's move makes sense since the fresh air being infused into the collection abides by the New York edgy and youthful sensibility. Esteban Cortazar - the boy wonder from Paris, formerly creative director of Emanuel Ungaro, is moving his show from Paris to New York.

THE DEPARTURES

Ever since Alexander Wang announced that he's moving #WangFest to a June/December schedule there are more designers evading the conventional Fashion Calendar. Wand staged several street parties in September and will present his final show on the official schedule this Saturday before moving with his plans. Marchesa's Georgina Chapman after filing for divorce from Harvey Weinstein and Keren Craig cancelled their runway show in favour of a more low-key event. Delpozo and Victoria Beckham are switching New York for London, Tome traded New York for Paris while there will be no Fenty x Puma show. Many others Public School and Baja East switched to straight-to-consumer, Burberry and Mansur Gavriel wanted to a see-now-buy-now model while Rebecca Minkoff and Lela Rose opted for Instagram shows instead of IRL ones.

FASHION WEEK STAPLES

But still, it's New York fashion week Marc Jacobs whose latest collection was featured on the cover of American Vogue is closing the show. While Raf Simons is presenting both his third collection for Calvin Kein and also showcasing his own menswear brand. Tom Ford is showing two separate collections Women's and Men's. We're anticipating Coach, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta and of course Jeremy Scott! We're also expecting a breath of fresh air from newcomers (to the NYFW runway at least) Eckhaus Latta, the powerful subversive duo, and the American - Australian Matthew Adams Dolan, a denim aficionado and Rihanna favourite.

THE FROW

As with designers, there has been a thinning of big celebrity sightings too. This time last year Katie Holmes, Jennifer Hudson and Lucy Liu sat at Zac Posen alone, for example, and by September, the significant celeb snaps were confined to those of a pregnant Jessica Alba and Jessica Seinfeld. And all for a good reason. According to The New York Times, in the practice of pay-per-pose, an A-lister like Angelina Jolie could command close to $1 million per show. As expected Tom Ford kicked off NYFW AW18 with a guest list that included Ciara and husband Russell Wilson, Pusha T and Halsey. Jessica Alba is a Tory Burch veteran so she’ll probably be there, ditto for Zoe Kravitz at close friend Alexander Wang’s show. Rashida Jones is a fan of  Rachel Comey, actress Chloe Grace Moretz has been a COACH regular in the past and may even show up to the Victoria Beckham show (she’s currently dating Brooklyn Beckham). Olivia Culpo and her New England Patriots player boyfriend Danny Amendola are scheduled to make an appearance, according to E! Online. And from the music scene: Solange Knowles Tinashe and Teyana Taylor may all show up. As far as street style trendsetters are concerned: Yasmin Sewell, (heavily pregnant) Leandra Medine, Lisa Aiken and Linda Tol are all safe bet sightings and women to follow on Instagram if you’re not already.

New York Fashion Week starts today and will run until next Wednesday 14th February (aka Valentine’s Day) following the Men's collections held between the 5th and 8th of February. However, there are a host of changes, initiated last season when Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra and Thom Browne moved their presentations to Paris. Tome's Ramon Martin and Ryan Lobo crossed over to the French capital as well, and even more, designers are shaking up the fashion system.

THE OUT-OF-TOWNERS

Tomas Maier is celebrating the opening of his Madison Avenue store and is visiting his Bottega Venetta show from Milan to New York for one season. Maier's move makes sense since the fresh air being infused into the collection abides by the city’s urban edge and youthful sensibility. Delpozo and Victoria Beckham are switching New York for London ( the former this season, the latter next), and there will be no Fenty x Puma show (making a Rihanna a little less likely). Others like Public School and Baja East have switched to a straight-to-consumer format, Burberry and Mansur Gavriel’s collections will be see-now-buy-now, while Rebecca Minkoff and Lela Rose have opted for Instagram shows instead of IRL ones.

FASHION WEEK MAINSTAYS

But one of NYFW’s biggest names Marc Jacobs, whose latest collection was featured on the cover of American Vogue, is closing the week as usual. Raf Simons is presenting both his third collection for Calvin Klein and his own menswear brand; while Tom Ford is eschewing co-ed shows by showing his new menswear and womenswear separately a few days apart. We're looking forward to seeing what Coach, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta and of course Jeremy Scott have come up with! And keeping a close eye on Monse, newcomers (to the NYFW runway at least) Eckhaus Latta, the powerful subversive duo, and Rihanna’s favourite denim aficionado Matthew Adams Dolan.

New year, new jeans? Definitely when you have London’s premium denim specialist Trilogy at your disposal. The boutique’s wardrobe-saving mission since opening in 2006 has been to find every woman their perfect pair of jeans with a handpicked brand edit of luxury essentials and expert knowledge. What used to be a hideous shopping experience is now a happy one because the hottest denim styles and complementary pieces to style them with can be found at a uniquely dedicated place. Vogue voted Trilogy as one of the ‘Best Boutiques in Britain’ four years running, so you’ll be able to transition into the new season effortlessly with easy wardrobe updates that both nod to and transcend the trends.

Whether you’re a wide leg jeans kind of women, all about high rise jeans that streamline curves, or you prefer cropped jeans to show your shoes off as well, Trilogy’s got you covered. It’s worth noting, though, that straight jeans are currently in the spotlight as Spring 18’s key silhouette and you’ll discover unbeatable pairs in new blue denim washes and bright white from J Brand Jeans, AG Jeans and fashion editor favourite Paige. Team them with ankle boots, mules and sneakers depending on the weather.

Perfect jeans need spring coats of the same standard to match, say a trench coat or a blazer and you can really cement your style status with Harris Wharf London’s boxy coat. Now don’t let the ‘boxy’ description put you off, vibrant fresh shades like flamingo and mint give the cut, and therefore any outfit you wear it with, the wow factor. And with Spring’s soft tailoring trend in mind, Trilogy have partnered with Helene Berman to create exclusive versions of the best-selling Alice and Ava styles and a swing mac in versatile navy and stone that are unavailable elsewhere.

Directly underneath to complete your winning looks, there’s are plenty of cosy cashmere knits and button-down blouses to play with. Go classic with Vince and Duffy or make a statement with Jumper 1234, Madeleine Thompson and more. Whatever suits your mood and the occasion.

Click through this season’s highlights in the gallery above and shop your favourite pieces from our edit below.

Hands up if you only watch the Super Bowl for the American national anthem and the halftime show? Us too, and also for an annual real life sighting of the supermodel Gisele as she supports her husband, the record-breaking star New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady with their family. Although this year the 5 time world champions didn’t retain their trophy in Super Bowl LII as the so-called ‘underdogs’ Philadelphia Eagles beat them 41-33, with Brandon Graham's incredible strip-sack knocking the ball out of Brady’s hands. That’s a very rough summary of the actual American football played because we were most excited to see Justin Timberlake in his comeback gig, to crown the release of his new album 'Man of the Woods.' P!nk had wowed belting out ’The Star-Spangled Banner’ with the flu earlier on.

Timberlake had a tough task following Lady Gaga’s epic performance last year and Beyonce’s stunning politically-charged rendition of ‘Formation’ the year before, and the talented singer-dancer didn’t quite reach the same heights. His mandate seemed to be family friendly rather than forward-thinking and so Timberlake dutifully delivered: slickly dancing his way through a medley of his greatest hits including ‘Rock your Body’ (which he did at his 2003 Super Bowl show with Janet Jackson that lead to #nipplegate), ‘Señorita’, ‘My Love’, ‘Sexy Back’, 'Cry me a River', ‘Suit and Tie’, ‘End of Time’ at a piano and ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ to close.

There were no NSYNC, Janet Jackson or ‘Filthy’ robot appearances but plenty of backing dancers, a live brass band and a few sound issues; and Timberlake did pay tribute to the late Prince, as the game was being staged in his hometown Minnesota, by covering ‘I Would Die 4 U’. The late legendary artist was projected next to him as a video rather than a ‘demonic’ hologram and his fans weren’t happy as Prince reportedly didn’t like Timberlake. Unlike longterm Timberlake’s fans from his NSYNC and ‘Justified' days who voiced their approval on social media, but the whole thing did little to inspire a new generation, as the young man who got a selfie with Timberlake hinted by his actions.

What Timberlake wore also sparked plenty of debate and memes. Fresh out of Stella McCartney’s AW18 menswear collection (so not in stores yet) and in line with his new ‘country with R’n’b roots’ sound, he sported a deer scene shirt with a cameo splatter print and Prince of Wales check suit, a red bandana around his neck, a fringed leather jacket and chunky white Nike sneakers which looked like custom Jordans. GQ has full details/sketches and it was the most progressive thing about the performance- a fresh way to pull off clashing prints for men.

So if you want to, or you’d like your boyfriend to dress like Timberlake, admire his instagram shots in the gallery above, watch the halftime show here and then shop our edit of similar styles below.
