I think that my favorite accessories for Coachella are definitely flower headbands.  I love the boho vibe that they have and you suddenly feel like a hot fairy when you wear them. They even good for other festivities like a Halloween costume, very multi-purpose.  Photo Credit: @laurDIY on twitter  #fashion #coachella  #festivalhair #festivalstyle

Tanya Nambiar is the vocalist of Gravy Train, an alternative band from Delhi. Apart from her voice, it's also her style that we love and admire a lot! She left her comfortable corporate job for music, hence her passion has been a huge inspiration for us at Shopcade HQ!

Here's a glimpse of who she is as a person:

How would you describe your personal style?
"It's comfy and casual with lots of jewellery."

What's your favourite attire for a gig?
"Comfort is always the key since I move around a lot while performing. I can't stand still on stage. Sneakers or boots with something sporty, sexy and comfy. I like to be myself yet stand out in a crowd."

Tanya is more classy or sassy?
"Sassy all the way!"

What was the best era for 'music and fashion'?
"The 70s! Fashion wise- Boho-chic-gypsy vibes. Loved it, and music was all disco, smooth jazz, funk and of course a lot of rock that emerged that time!"

One trend that never goes out of fashion?
"The little black dress!"

How does your music reflect in your style?
"I like my music to be relatable, easy listening which reflects my personality. I am also influenced by a lot of genres so that definitely reflects in my music and hence my style which is never predictable. I like to surprise my audience."

How has your style evolved over the years as a musician?
"I experiment more with styles now since I've discovered a lot about myself. I can't be the plain jane. Monotony bores me. I am a lot more confident about myself and hence that has impacted my style over the years."

Which is the music fest you're more likely to attend?
a) Coachella b) Burning Man c) Wacken d) Tomorrowland e) Sunburn
"Most definitely Coachella!"

Tips on music festival makeup?
"Keep it simple and fun. Don't try too hard to be someone you're not. You're there to enjoy the music so you wanna jump around and just have fun. And that should reflect in your style. No over the top makeup or super tight dresses with heels!"

Which celebrity's closet do you dig?
"Beyonce! Also Rita Ora and Rihanna!"

What's a quick hair fix right before a concert?
"Super tight high bun or braids!"

What is the one beauty product you cannot live without?
"Coconut oil! I use it as a makeup remover, hair oil, moisturiser. Can't do without it!"

Name a brand that you swear by?
"I am more of a flea market girl. But I love forever 21 and Asos and Nike."

If you're inspired and if these words have awakened the boho-chic in you, check out our edit below!

It's always inspiring to talk to like-minded, creative people who are constantly trying to make a difference in this industry!

Creative visualiser, stylist, model and blogger Monalisha Mahapatra of The Greyhalfway spoke to Shopcade recently about her personal style and nuances of the blogging world, and as fans of her work, we asked her for a few tips so as to help every budding blogger out there.

Shopcade Headquarter (SHQ): What is the story behind the title "The Greyhalfway"
The Grey Halfway (TGH): "There is no story as such, though i was just researching at my workstation with few of my friends on cable knit sweaters on Pinterest and somehow got connected to bright colours and muted colours and that's how this name came into the picture."

SHQ: Describe your sense of style in one sentence
TGH:  "My style is easily adaptable"

SHQ: What is your current favourite brand on the block?
TGH: "It has to be Zara, Oh i am in love with the new Zara Patched denim jackets!"

SHQ: How hard is it to sustain in the blogger industry?
TGH: "I believe that content is the king and i keep on creating a lot of editorials on my blog TheGreyhalfway now and then. We work on a lot of pet projects as well, which includes styling and playing with light and shadows where photography plays the most important role. Creating content is where everyone struggles so i think that's about it."

SHQ: 3 Tips for Newbie Bloggers
TGH:
TIP 1: "Just work on the content you create and stay truthful to your own self."
TIP 2: "Style according to new trends."
TIP 3:  "Instagram is one of the most socially active applications, make your Instagram as attractive as you can. Instagram posts don't necessarily have to be HD, but try creating good frames with your phone camera and post process it to make the pictures look attractive My secret editing software is VSCO and its a free app and I always use hashtags, Instagram permits 30 hashtags for one single post, so make full worth of it."

We couldn't have been more excited to celebrate V Festival's 21st birthday at Weston Park, Stafford on Saturday 20th! Headlining the event was none other than Rihanna who'd performed at V before, with other main stage acts such as David Guetta, Little Mix, Years & Years, and Example.

The weather at Weston Park, Stafford was damp but forgiving. Raining on and off throughout the day, ducking into the plasticine blue tent in which the Dance Arena was located acted as a failsafe for revellers who couldn't wait to indulge in some daytime clubbing.

Years & Years' Olly Alexander raked in the crowd with an upbeat and heartfelt performance prior to Little Mix lighting up the stage shortly after with covers of Willow Smith and Beyonce alongside hits such as Salut and Black Magic. Dressed in matching army bomber jackets, khaki green bodysuits, and black thigh high boots, the girls whipped up a frenzy when Craig David made a surprise appearance during the set!

Scoping out the scene at V Healthy (yes, there ARE food and drink options at V for clean eating practitioners) prior to David Guetta's set, we were alerted to his arrival when festival goers dropped what they were doing/eating/drinking (literally) and flocked in droves to the main stage.

By this point, with tunes like Sexy Chick, Bad, and Hey Mama blaring from the speakers, we'd long eschewed caring whether our clothes clung to our bodies from the rain and embraced the beat with gusto.

Soon after, rides and food stalls were abandoned by all as everyone patiently waited for Rihanna who true to RiRi style, arrived with a bang in a chocolate brown leather bodysuit, asymmetric distressed trousers, and a matching oversized trench.

Leaving the cheering crowd satisfied with a stellar performance complemented by her contortionist backup dancers and hits such as Diamonds, Work, and BBHMM, RiRi proved once again she has stage presence like no other!

With Glastonbury right around the corner, it's safe to say that festival season has officially kicked off in the UK!

Despite the threatened washout, this year's line-up of festival acts are the stuff of dreams- Adele for Glastonbury, Justin Bieber making his only UK festival experience at V and current man of the moment, Craig David at Wireless.

If this year's Coachella has taught us anything, it's that glitter, bindis and temporary tattoos are all major beauty trends for festivals this season, which is why we've given you the heads up in our edit below.

Don't worry about playing it safe- pile it all on and go; that's the festival way after all! Shop now...

Selena Gomez looks fabulous on the cover of the Marie Claire June issue.

The actress goes glamorous in feathers, gowns, and sheer elbow-length gloves. The whole shoot is definitely worth a look, but the most wearable outfit of hers is too cute not to copy!

In this snap, Selena wears a dark-red flared dress with side cutouts and strappy embellishments. Tasseled red cord belts, body chains, and necklaces will help you reach that layered look. Finish with flats or pumps, and silver jewelry.

Coachella and florals go together like peanut butter and jelly so you KNOW you need the print in your bag when you head out to the desert.

From shorts to dresses, the print is a must have for this boho inspired festival weekend. In this list I’ve prepared 4 different looks to get your floral on, from tassel bags to killer shades you’ll be sure to steal the show.

You can mix and match your florals or keep it to a minimum with one piece. I’m loving the jean shorts in this list because they aren’t necessarily a print but still have an ode to floral. Don’t forget your accessories! Long, dainty necklaces and colored earring studs are a must and the one’s right here are perfect.

Shop the list and get your flower power on now!

Coachella is fun for every aspect of fashion but shoes might be the best part of the whole weekend (or two). Shoes define your look and if you don’t incorporate a rad pair of low heeled boots, you ain’t got it goin' on!

On the contrary it’s fun to play around with unconventional mid-no heel shoes and basing your outfit around them.In this list I’ve concentrated on lace up gladiators, boots, tassels and minimal sandals.

All of these keep you cool, temperature wise and other! All of the shoes in this list are grade A festival attire and they would look fab with concho belts, broad rimmed hats and off the shoulder tops.

Coachella is just around the corner, which means the start of festival season is officially upon us.

While we Brits rule the scene when it comes to the summer festivals, the US undoubtedly takes the title for coolest festival with Coachella.

Celebs come from far and wide, everyone tries to out-boho each other and any form of body chain or tattoo is considered a right of passage.

2014 and 2015 was ruled by the Jenners- will 2016 be their year once more? Take a look through our best dressed gallery above and make sure you're best in fest with our edit below!
