Warmer weather, brighter days and longer nights mean after-work drinks and dinners are now high on the agenda. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a little afternoon sun on a Friday after a long week at work.

Regrettably, going from boardroom to bar can pose a number of outfit-related conundrums, but don’t fret. We’ve put together a few tips and a helpful edit to ensure you rock your way through Friday and into the weekend via your favourite haunts in style.

Colour pop

A little colour never hurt anybody and if you’re planning on heading out after work, a statement flash of colour or print works a charm. Elevate your office-ready look with a colourful jacket, printed skirt, bright shoes or some next-level statement earrings in pink, neon yellow or coral orange.

Layer up

You won’t be able to get away with a bralette and high-waisted shorts in your daily meetings – that goes without saying – however, you can rock an off-duty summer look at work if you opt for light layers. Team a leather mini with block-heeled sandals and a lacy cami, then layer a smart shirt or cool tee, add pared-down accessories and you’re good to go.

Well heeled

Desk to dark shoes are a great investment. A classic court is always office appropriate so don’t be afraid to don those Louboutins. If it’s a warm day, opt for a heeled sandal or a platform for a more low-key approach.

Accessorise

A few statement accessories can transform any outfit. Lend your pared-down look a little flair with oversized earrings, a luxe designer bag, gold-toned bangles and delicate layered necklaces to offset your décolletage.

The weekend is close and that means one thing: brunch with someone cute. Whether you’re heading out on a date to crunch avocado toast with somebody you’ve just met or enjoying a coffee with your husband or wife, dressing to impress is still a must.

Brunch dates are the best, because they’re casual, comfortable and cool. We’ve compiled a few tips on how to ensuring your outfit perfectly mirrors this low-key vibe…

Brighten up

Sure monochrome is chic, but a playful pop of colour never hurt anyone. Sunny daytime dates call for a more cheerful get-up, so rock your pink, red and yellow tones with pride.

Flat out

Mules, loafers and sneakers are perfect for sunny days. Cosy up with your special someone over pancakes, leave the heels at home and rock your comfiest flats for this date.

In the mix

Sure denim is low-key so throw on a statement top and some next-level accessories. Guys, mix shirts and blazers with jeans and take those designer trainers out for a spin too.

No shade

Sunnies are an essential element of any date-by-day look. Rock yours to elevate your outfit and if you’re feeling especially cute, opt for his and hers styles in cool vintage silhouettes.

Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start to the summer. This makes it the perfect time to tap into a few of summer’s hottest trends. Hopefully you'll be spending the weekend in the sun, enjoying the parades and festivities.

We've put together four fool-proof looks that will match all your Memorial Day Weekend plans, whether you're attending your first pool party of the season, or jetting off on a reviving city break. Here's what to wear on Memorial Day Weekend...

For a city break

Whether it's Hamptons or Montauk you'll need an array of resort-ready separates to wear from the beach to the bar until the early hours of the morning. Snag a patterned jumpsuit and pair it with espadrilles, a pair of sunnies and an on-trend wicker bag to carry your essentials.

For a pool party

For glamping, cookouts  or simple poolside tanning you need a cool get-up. Show off in a  bikini in bold hues, pair with equally eye-grabbing sneakers, denim shorts and toss on a denim jacket for extra flair.

For a daytrip

If you're headed south for wine o'clock in Napa Valley you've got to do it in style. Sport a linen dress, red sandals, an oversized leather bag and a fedora straw hat that will keep you looking and feeling cool in warm weather.

Which of these Memorial Day looks will you be wearing? Browse our edit below to recreate them at home...

As we're going through the motions in 2018 many are already thinking of a summer holiday resort by the sea in an exotic location or at least enjoying a quick and rejuvenating city break. So you have organised your carry on, and your suitcase you've packed your beauty kit, your casual wear, and your evening wear. But what about your airport outfit? For the longest time celebrity culture has been associated with those glamorous looks snapped in between airport lounges and gates creating a new type of occasion: travel-wear.#000000">

If you're all about unassuming comfort go for Khloe Kardashian's or Nina Kravitz's nonchalant approach. An oversized hoodie, with a pair of black leggings, trainers and sunnies. Don't let the slouchy ease of the outfit fool you. This version is ultra chic especially paired with minimal and fresh-looking makeup.

For a more elegant and classic version follow Victoria Beckham's example and go for a pair of jeans a white crisp open-collar shirt and throw on a long waist-fitting trench coat, and oversized sunnies. Because you just woke up from your long-haul flight beauty sleep.

If you want to make a statement then go for unapologetic bold. Opt for a memorable colour like mustard or violet and pair it with white sneakers a slogan tee and sunglasses. Voila! Airport outfit sorted.

So where are you headed this Spring? Go to our gallery for now for some extra airport style inspiration and then scroll down below to shop your favourite looks!

We're only just a few days before we celebrate Easter and we have already been witnessing the Easter bunny craze from shops, to restaurants even family homes. There's nothing better than enjoying quality time with family and friends at home during the holidays. It feels even cosier in an environment that has been decked out to embrace the event. It's time to hunt shop and put together amazing decorations that will infuse your home with that holiday spirit.

As an added bonus these DIY Easter ideas are a great way to spend time with loved ones especially if you have children or young relatives or simply are looking for an excuse to do some art & crafts.

SHAVE CREAM EASTER EGGS

Take an ordinary product to decorate a whole array of marbelized Easter eggs. You only need some natural food colouring or some dye to design on a bed of plain shaving cream. Then roll some hard-boiled eggs over the surface to create this cool multi-colour effect. Let the eggs dry and gently clean to remove any extra shaving cream.

WATERCOLOUR EASTER EGGS

A very inexpensive way to decorate Easter eggs is by using watercolour paints. For an amazing marble egg, use a round brush and create a two-tone effect by adding water to the original colour and stamping on the second round of dots.

FRUIT & VEGETABLE EGGS

Take small hard-boiled eggs and dip them to one solid colour. Add details with a permanent marker to make them look like your fave fruit or veggie. Add a personalised message from someone in your family, and make this an extra individual affair.

I really love being at the beach, enjoying the sunshine and just relaxing at the coast. In my opinion, you can't forget your hat at home. These hats are feminine, fashionable, too. These accessories are great for your bikini. The hat is neccessary for the beach. The most important fact is to protect against sunburn. Take care of yourself with one of these beach hats and take your favourite magazine with yourself.

A return flight to Ireland might be a bit tricky if you’re on the other side of the Irish Sea, but that’s no excuse not to celebrate St Patrick’s day.

Luckily, we picked out all the best places for you to go to in London & Britain. That way you don’t have to waste time figuring out where to go, and you can spend all your time enjoying yourself.

London:
#behindeverygreatcity. <="" div="">Prepare for more than 125,000 people spread all over Green London to celebrate St. Paddy’s day! This 3-days celebration is not only about all the Guinness you can drink, but also features the best of Irish culture. Expect Irish dance and ceilidh, open air gigs in some of London's most iconic places, going from Hyde Park Corner, to Haymarket, to Trafalgar Square, not forgetting Whitehall and Picadilly.
#behindeverygreatcity. <="" div="">
Saturday:
#behindeverygreatcity. <="" div="">Hawker House will host a Six Nations with Guinness, with a England-Ireland game. Don’t forget to buy some ticket if you’re a big rugby fan (or your partner is).
Camden Market, once the heart of Irish London, plays host to an Irish music trail, all played by female performers.
#behindeverygreatcity. <="" div="">
#behindeverygreatcity. <="" div="">Sunday:
#behindeverygreatcity. <="" div="">We are waiting for you at 12pm at Piccadilly to start the day with the famous parade. Picture Irish dancers, bagpipes and leprechauns. Trafalgar Square on Sunday is the place to be if you don’t want to miss the epitome of the festivities, featuring a line-up of well-known Irish acts and rising stars. This year, the performers will pay their tribute to Dolores O’Riordan of the Cranberries. You can also enjoy the craft market around the festival, showcasing the best of Irish making. And if you’re bringing the little ones with you, head to Pall Mall, the festival’s family zone.

What to do over the week-end in London:
#behindeverygreatcity. <="" div="">St. Patrick’s Day is a good excuse to enjoy some of the rich Irish culture London has to offer. Tour guide Tony O'Donnell offers three tours to explore Irish history. The program: Friday is exploring the ramifications of the 1916 Rebellion in London, Saturday Camden Town (a good excuse to combine the Irish music trail with the tour), before finishing on Sunday with an Emerald City tour — running from Ludgate Hill to Covent Garden.
If you’re more into arts, go to Pauline Bewick Art Exhibition, one of the most famous Irish artists, at the City Hall at The Queen’s Walk next to Tower Bridge. Here is a secret- if you can’t do it this week-end, the exhibition ends on the 21st of March.
#behindeverygreatcity. <="" div="">
Birmingham:
Only Dublin and New-York can beat the St. Paddy’s Day parade of Birmingham, home to Britain’s only Irish quarter. The Sunday parade will set off at 2pm from Camp Hill, through Digbeth towards the Bullring shopping centre then loop back round again.

Belfast:
Northern Ireland's capital will feature a colourful parade with a free-to-access concert. The parade is planned for Saturday 17th, on the theme Global Belfast and will be departing from Royal Avenue at 11.30am finishing at Writers Square. After the parade, enjoy a free concert full of X Factor favourites from 1.30pm.

Short of doing a bar hop, watching the parades and downing as much Guinness as humanly possible, let's not forget that it's an unspoken rule for all those celebrating to wear green so check out our St. Paddy's Day editor's picks below!

Whichever shade of green floats your boat- Mint green, shamrock green, khaki green or neon green- you can be sure we've found it in tops, dresses, jumpsuits, shoes, bags and accessories...
#behindeverygreatcity. <="" div="">
With the weekend sure to be packed with St. Paddy's Day celebrations, there's still time to grab something festive to wear!
