Spring is all about recharging in order to take on the new season with a fresh outlook. Sometimes all you need to do is relax and indulge in a little ‘me time’.

A quick browse online throws up numerous sales at local hotels and wellness centres offering discount spa day packages. Take advantage of a day filled with massages, facials, manicures and a dip in the pool or the hot tub. Or try out a couple of Pilates or yoga classes to take your wellness day to a whole new level.

What to wear on a spa day...

Before you book your day away, make sure your wardrobe’s spa-ready. Fill your weekend bag with a fluffy robe, a luxe one-piece swimsuit and silky-soft slippers. Don’t forget your shades and a stylish designer tote for the journey there and back.

If checking into a spa is off the cards, why not recreate the vibe at home?

Invest in a few spa essentials like bath oils, candles and aromatherapy products and turn your bathroom into a DIY spa centre that works exclusively for you.

What are you waiting for? Your spa day starts now. Shop all your pampering and style essentials from our edit below...

Today is National Unicorn Day! Although you would have not bet on them a couple years back, unicorn-inspired products invaded our beauty routine, leaving their holographic mark behind them.

Make up brands have been developping more and more products around iridiscent hues, bringing a magical glow to our faces for a multi-dimensional make up.

From runways to our own bathroom, rainbow shades highlight our cheeks and give a mesmerizing look to our lips. Val Garland at Giambattista Valli with glitter faces, Pat McGrath at Maison Margiela with dazzling lips, Paris Fashion Week was full of kaleidoscopic visages for a cosmic effect.

The visionary make up Pat McGrath innovated in the glitter and holo world, for a showstopper look. Her Instagram is dream-worthy, inventing liquid gold for skin, glitter shining like a million diamonds, and was the first to create kit for a at-home makeup. Make up is a good way to allow yourself to some fantasy, without a little touch on your face, without going into full unicorn look.

Sometimes the best of the Met Gala outfits are actually the most simple. As much as I adore the dramatic dresses and bold make up, the understated looks like Candice's last year can be the best. Candice wore a custom Topshop dress. Her figure looks insane in this sleeveless cut which accentuates her waist. She wears a couple of bangles on her wrist as the dress is definitely the focal point and her hair is off her face. Simple but elegant. Image: Vogue.com

We're just a hop away from Easter and even though you wouldn't necessarily associate the holiday with fashion there are definitely a few outfits that can be absolute sartorial lifesavers during the long weekend. Whether you're spending your time with your beau on an exotic destination, having a cool getaway with friends or catching up with friends and family for a relaxing holiday back home here are a few of the trends you can try this Season:

Egg Hunt Chic

You can't possibly without a basket bag. Thankfully one of the biggest trends of the season is the wicker bag. Pair your stylish wicker accessory with a floral spring dress, hair accessories, comfy sandals and a leather jacket for chilly weather.

Family Dinner

For a family dinner opt for comfortable elegance. Go for a Victorian-inspired dress with comfy ankle boots a blanket scarf and an oversized bag to store all that takeaway Easter chocolate.

Couple Time

For a quality time abroad with your loved one choose an outfit that is chic yet practical. Take Zendaya's example and go for oversized tent pants paired with a matching crop top and sandals. Finish your look with a bold red lip and an essentials-only clutch.

Friends Getaway

For a quick Spring break weekend with your best mates, choose an outfit that allows you to enjoy your time without compromising your style. Try the embellished sneaker trend and mix it with an LBD some glitter makeup and a cross body bag that frees your arms for fist-pumping and dancing all night long.

How will you be spending this Easter holiday? Shop your essentials from our expert edit below!

I have no idea how we moved from supersized bags to tinny tiny bags, but here you go… Just couple of months ago, oversized bags weren’t big enough so people were carrying around supersized bags instead… Now, bags are not even micro, they’re super tiny handbags. Big enough just for your phone to MAYBE fit in, these bags ruled the runways last month. If we’re allowed to vote, I’m voting this trend as the most useless one, because I’ve got way too much stuff… #bag #trend #itbag #supersize #oversize #handbag #tiny #fashion

Couple of days ago, Donatella Versace said “Fur? Im out of that!” and created a sensation around social media. The famous designer said “I don’t want to kill animals to make fashion,” in an interview and the fashion industry went all crazy about this news. People divided into two groups, one supporting this cause, the others saying its too late… Well better late than sorry right? #furfree #antifur #versace #donatellaversace

This power couple outfit is everything. Red could be a little intimidating for the everyday basis, but that stunning blazer with the pants looks so powerful on the girl land I think the light blue shirt is what makes the look less out there and more city appropriate, not mentioning the comfy factor of the sneakers.  photo credit: @bremondupe. #fashion #outfit #couples #trend

Velvet and crushed velvet has been a trend for the past couple of seasons and it’s still a recurring trend. Although the weather is not suitable to wear velvet shoes, stock these kicks for Spring because they will be totally the it-item for the season. Opt for the pastel colours if you really want to try the velvet trend. #velvet #shoes #flats #heels #Spring #trend #fashion #streetstyle #style

If you haven't been living under a rock recently you must have caught this trend of the ten step Korean skin care routine. We know that ten steps seem like a lot of work, but it's total exaggeration we hear! You don't have to barge in this ten step commitment straight away. Keep the basics and opt for a 5 step regimen to start with. If you want to follow this routine to a T and acquire the enviable skin of a Korean princess here are the ten steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Oil Cleanser

Apply this to dry skin in order to remove makeup and any other oil-based product remainders. You might need proper make up remover for heavy makeup though.

Step 2: Foam Cleanser

As you might have guessed an oil-cleanser is not enough. You need a foam water-based cleanser in order to remove impurities. Make sure you cleanse it twice for a squeaky clean skin surface.

Step 3: Exfoliator

Exfoliation is a vital part of the process as it thoroughly cleans clogged pores that you wouldn't be able to reach differently. It's also a great way to get rid of dead skin. This step is not recommended for daily use, especially if you have sensitive skin. But if you a have a tougher complexion you can try exfoliating up to 3 times per week.

Step 4: Toner

After you have cleansed and scrubbed the skin thoroughly it will be cleaner but quite fragile and in desperate need of ample hydration. The best way to prepare the skin before applying any sort of hydrating cream is to apply a toner so that it'll absorb it better.

Step 5: Essence

The essence is truly what the Korean skin care is all about. It's the element of the routine that really differentiates it from any other skin care routine. The inherently Korean essence is basically very similar to a serum, booster of ampoules but it contains a greater percentage of water and as such it looks and feels a lot like a toner.

Step 6: Serums & Boosters

These oil-based treatments are not necessary if you deal with brown spots or pigmentation often. If you have normal or dry skin you can try these methods for a bonus layer of hydration. Believe us, your skin will thank you for it!

Step 7: Sheet Mask

The great thing about masks is that there is no 'one mask fits all'. You can try a hydrating mask if you have dry skin or a Vitamin C packed one to brighten it. You don't need to do this step every night. It's actually more beneficial for you if you only do it twice a week.

Step 8: Eye Cream

Again with eye cream, you can target the areas that are most important to you. You could focus on fine lines or dark circles.

Step 9: Face Cream

This is one of the vital parts of the routine even if you leave out a couple of other steps. Skin hydration is the key to soft, younger looking skin at all times. Try to wear a lighter day cream and a full nourishing night cream.

Step10: SPF

The most important step of the Korean regimen is the SPF. You must have heard of women swearing by their SPF since the slightest exposure to sunlight can speed up the ageing process of the skin. SPF needs to be applied daily even if you don't live in a city that is necessarily sunny.

There you have it! The Complete Guide to Korean Morning Routine. Need help with picking the right products? Have a look below at our top picks for every single step and say hello to brighter younger-looking skin!

1. On gâte notre meilleure amie
