Finding the right fragrance is hard. I guess it’s because we wanna that fragrance to represent us, to tell something about ourselves. This from Chanel is one of my favorites. What about yours? #chanel

Just before we welcome this season's London Fashion Week, we take a look at models with the most enviable off-duty style. The model-off-duty style emerged as a great power player in fashion. The focus expanded from the front-rows and catwalk to the streets shaping trends at the same time. Kendall Jenner has been offering with impressive street style moments for the past few years while It girl newcomer Kaia Gerber has really nailed understated cool.

We are in awe of their accessible looks with a few items here and there that look effortless but are actually are the strategic work of hard-working celebrity stylists like Monica Rose and Maeve Reilly and Karla Welch.

KENDAL JENNER AMERICANA

To incorporate her key style elements you may want to stock up on statement boots, fishnet touches, vinyl pants and many a pair of distressed jeans. Whether it's Kendal Jenner's tracksuit and Yeezy Season 4 stiletto boots, or her beloved sparkly CHANEL boots and jeans combo the oversized boot is a Kendall favourite.

GIGI HADID ATHLEISURE

No one wears athleisure like Gigi Hadid. Is has truly mastered the art of living elegantly in sweats, plain or bedazzled cashmere. Her favourite look comprises of leggings, a cropped sweatshirt and a hoodie tied around her waist to emphasize her toned abs. To elevate her basic sports look to athleisure status she opts for a tote instead of a gym bag and a faux fur coat instead of a parka.

KAIA GERBER PLAYFUL

Gerber's off-duty look is an interesting combination of minimal yet playful elements resulting in a unique street style approach. Her ensembles always catch our eye without being overly bold. After appearing in the premium denim brand's campaign of Hudson's she began sporting classic jeans with tops - often cropped and a range of hoodies. When it comes to footwear, she's obsessed with classic Chuck Taylor Converse high tops.

Of the beauty trends we’ve already spotted this year, the colour pop eyes seen at the haute couture shows in Paris earlier this month and in Revlon’s groundbreaking new campaign really made us pause. Blush pink at Chanel, yellow and green at Iris Van Herpen, gold arches at Elie Saab, and Adwoa Aboah banished our tween blue eyeshadow nightmares with gorgeous loaded eyelids. Lining your inner eye with white eyeliner is a well-known, eye-opening makeup trick but using a bolder hue is a novel way to brighten up your face and outfit this winter, rather than just relying on vibrant accessories. We were already partly convinced by legendary makeup artist and Vogue editor Pat McGrath’s memorising eye shadow videos on instagram, she’s been pushing vivid looks like these for years, but these latest looks won us over properly.

So even if you’re on board with swapping your natural or smoky eye for a coloured one, bet you’re wondering how you wear this for day? These pigmented products are developed to make an impact, and are oh so easy to apply, so we suggest lighter, thinner lines and subtler sweeps during the day and being more heavy handed come evening. You could even mix colours and colour-block your face (eyes, blush and lips) if you dare as there’s literally a rainbow of eyeliners and eyeshadows out there. And if your eyes are looking flawless, make sure there are no marks elsewhere and that the rest of your beauty game is up to scratch. Particularly your brows and lashes which will frame your face and your handiwork.

Shop our top picks for colourful eyes in the edits below. The pink’s perfect for Valentine’s day!

I'm having a moment with Chanel. Okay I am always having a moment with Chanel. This tweed suit is absolutely stunning. I love the fact that there is so much going on, particularly the structures, yet instead of drowning the model the tapering of the jacket pulls the tailoring together. The stripe down the leg is a trend I'm seeing everywhere at the moment and oh how perfect it looks on top of tweed. Chanel you get me every time. Image: Elle.com

The general mood at Paris Fashion Week has been in line with the overall fashion aesthetic of frivolity, celebration and glam! We saw glitter galore and pretty in pink looks that marked the glorious return of the blush! Although there's nothing new about the blush the way it's applied has changed a lot. Applied in small amounts around the cheekbones the pink blush denotes to a healthy, outdoorsy look or I just finished my Zumba class face. In the 80's the blush was employed in a much more extravagant manner. The 80s pop-punk icons like Debby Harry Madonna and Boy George used ample amounts of bright pink blush giving away a more rock 'n roll vibe than a ladylike touch.

At the SS18 Paris Fashion Week backstage, the vibe was similar. The lines were drawn to create an effect going as high as the eye creases. Very different from following the natural shade and silhouette of the cheekbones which was done recently. That "buffing" effect was all the rage at Clio Peppiatt but also at Sophia Webster where cheekbones were swept up and emphasized with rosy elements. Over at Chanel, there was a clash between the blue eyelashes and the peachy cheeks, while Valentino went for that punkish brow to cheekbone technique.

You can easily incorporate this look and be as adventurous as you like with it. Take it down to an everyday makeup look by using a powdered blush on your cheekbones. Add a liquid rose blush for that extra glowing effect. For a night out go for a bold party look in tone ranging from peach to bright fuschia!

Thanks to Chanel, we are now obsessed with two-coloured shoes. The classic slingbacks designed by Coco Chanel was re-introduced to fashion last season and almost every single blogger and fashion influencer in the world were wearing these kicks. In Spring Summer 2018, this style is reinvented by many brands and designers. If you’re in between two colours when you’re choosing an outfit, these will save your life! You will be wearing two colours in one shoe! #shoes #trends #outfit #style #chanel #cocochanel #twotone #colours

Camila Mendes is just as stylish as her fictional alter-ego. At every event she is elegant with just the right amount of sass. I love her outfit here, a love letter to Chanel. The coloured tweed and fringing is beautiful and the sheer modernises it and takes it to evening. The Queen of Riverdale at her finest. Image: Elle.com
