New York Fashion Week runs from today until next Wednesday, February 14th following the Men's collections February 5th- 8th. However, this New York Fashion Week is different than the rest. It's following on a wave of changes that was initiated last season when Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra and Thom Browne moved their presentations to Paris. Tome's Ramon Martin and Ryan Lobo also joined the pack of designers leaving New York for Paris. While the controversial collaboration of Rihanna's Fenty x Puma received many accolades and the quintessential American spirit brand of Ralph Lauren hosted his show in his Bedford garage. This season more designers are striking on their own accord while two are coming out of town.

THE OUT-OF-TOWNERS

Tomas Maier is celebrating the opening of his Madison Avenue store and is visiting his Bottega Venetta show from Milan to New York for one season. Maier's move makes sense since the fresh air being infused into the collection abides by the New York edgy and youthful sensibility. Esteban Cortazar - the boy wonder from Paris, formerly creative director of Emanuel Ungaro, is moving his show from Paris to New York.

THE DEPARTURES

Ever since Alexander Wang announced that he's moving #WangFest to a June/December schedule there are more designers evading the conventional Fashion Calendar. Wand staged several street parties in September and will present his final show on the official schedule this Saturday before moving with his plans. Marchesa's Georgina Chapman after filing for divorce from Harvey Weinstein and Keren Craig cancelled their runway show in favour of a more low-key event. Delpozo and Victoria Beckham are switching New York for London, Tome traded New York for Paris while there will be no Fenty x Puma show. Many others Public School and Baja East switched to straight-to-consumer, Burberry and Mansur Gavriel wanted to a see-now-buy-now model while Rebecca Minkoff and Lela Rose opted for Instagram shows instead of IRL ones.

FASHION WEEK STAPLES

But still, it's New York fashion week Marc Jacobs whose latest collection was featured on the cover of American Vogue is closing the show. While Raf Simons is presenting both his third collection for Calvin Kein and also showcasing his own menswear brand. Tom Ford is showing two separate collections Women's and Men's. We're anticipating Coach, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta and of course Jeremy Scott! We're also expecting a breath of fresh air from newcomers (to the NYFW runway at least) Eckhaus Latta, the powerful subversive duo, and the American - Australian Matthew Adams Dolan, a denim aficionado and Rihanna favourite.

THE FROW

As with designers, there has been a thinning of big celebrity sightings too. This time last year Katie Holmes, Jennifer Hudson and Lucy Liu sat at Zac Posen alone, for example, and by September, the significant celeb snaps were confined to those of a pregnant Jessica Alba and Jessica Seinfeld. And all for a good reason. According to The New York Times, in the practice of pay-per-pose, an A-lister like Angelina Jolie could command close to $1 million per show. As expected Tom Ford kicked off NYFW AW18 with a guest list that included Ciara and husband Russell Wilson, Pusha T and Halsey. Jessica Alba is a Tory Burch veteran so she’ll probably be there, ditto for Zoe Kravitz at close friend Alexander Wang’s show. Rashida Jones is a fan of  Rachel Comey, actress Chloe Grace Moretz has been a COACH regular in the past and may even show up to the Victoria Beckham show (she’s currently dating Brooklyn Beckham). Olivia Culpo and her New England Patriots player boyfriend Danny Amendola are scheduled to make an appearance, according to E! Online. And from the music scene: Solange Knowles Tinashe and Teyana Taylor may all show up. As far as street style trendsetters are concerned: Yasmin Sewell, (heavily pregnant) Leandra Medine, Lisa Aiken and Linda Tol are all safe bet sightings and women to follow on Instagram if you’re not already.

New York Fashion Week starts today and will run until next Wednesday 14th February (aka Valentine’s Day) following the Men's collections held between the 5th and 8th of February. However, there are a host of changes, initiated last season when Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra and Thom Browne moved their presentations to Paris. Tome's Ramon Martin and Ryan Lobo crossed over to the French capital as well, and even more, designers are shaking up the fashion system.

THE OUT-OF-TOWNERS

Tomas Maier is celebrating the opening of his Madison Avenue store and is visiting his Bottega Venetta show from Milan to New York for one season. Maier's move makes sense since the fresh air being infused into the collection abides by the city’s urban edge and youthful sensibility. Wand staged several street parties in September and will present his final show on the official schedule this Saturday before executing his plans. After filing for divorce from disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein, Marchesa's Georgina Chapman and her co-founder Keren Craig cancelled their runway show in favour of a more low-key event. Delpozo and Victoria Beckham are switching New York for London ( the former this season, the latter next), and there will be no Fenty x Puma show (making a Rihanna a little less likely). Others like Public School and Baja East have switched to a straight-to-consumer format, Burberry and Mansur Gavriel’s collections will be see-now-buy-now, while Rebecca Minkoff and Lela Rose have opted for Instagram shows instead of IRL ones.

FASHION WEEK MAINSTAYS

But one of NYFW’s biggest names Marc Jacobs, whose latest collection was featured on the cover of American Vogue, is closing the week as usual. Raf Simons is presenting both his third collection for Calvin Klein and his own menswear brand; while Tom Ford is eschewing co-ed shows by showing his new menswear and womenswear separately a few days apart. We're looking forward to seeing what Coach, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta and of course Jeremy Scott have come up with! And keeping a close eye on Monse, newcomers (to the NYFW runway at least) Eckhaus Latta, the powerful subversive duo, and Rihanna’s favourite denim aficionado Matthew Adams Dolan.

Just before we welcome this season's London Fashion Week, we take a look at models with the most enviable off-duty style. The model-off-duty style emerged as a great power player in fashion. The focus expanded from the front-rows and catwalk to the streets shaping trends at the same time. Kendall Jenner has been offering with impressive street style moments for the past few years while It girl newcomer Kaia Gerber has really nailed understated cool.

We are in awe of their accessible looks with a few items here and there that look effortless but are actually are the strategic work of hard-working celebrity stylists like Monica Rose and Maeve Reilly and Karla Welch.

KENDAL JENNER AMERICANA

To incorporate her key style elements you may want to stock up on statement boots, fishnet touches, vinyl pants and many a pair of distressed jeans. Whether it's Kendal Jenner's tracksuit and Yeezy Season 4 stiletto boots, or her beloved sparkly CHANEL boots and jeans combo the oversized boot is a Kendall favourite.

GIGI HADID ATHLEISURE

No one wears athleisure like Gigi Hadid. Is has truly mastered the art of living elegantly in sweats, plain or bedazzled cashmere. Her favourite look comprises of leggings, a cropped sweatshirt and a hoodie tied around her waist to emphasize her toned abs. To elevate her basic sports look to athleisure status she opts for a tote instead of a gym bag and a faux fur coat instead of a parka.

KAIA GERBER PLAYFUL

Gerber's off-duty look is an interesting combination of minimal yet playful elements resulting in a unique street style approach. Her ensembles always catch our eye without being overly bold. After appearing in the premium denim brand's campaign of Hudson's she began sporting classic jeans with tops - often cropped and a range of hoodies. When it comes to footwear, she's obsessed with classic Chuck Taylor Converse high tops.

As we're going through the motions in 2018 many are already thinking of their first winter break maybe hitting the slopes or at least enjoying a relaxing weekend away. So you have organised your carry on, and your suitcase you've packed your beauty kit, your casual wear, athletic gear if you're going skiing and your evening wear. But how about your airport outfit? For the longest time celebrity culture has been associated with those glamorous outfits that have transformed into a cool version of a special occasion: travelling.

If you're all about unassuming comfort go for Khloe Kardashian's or Kravitz's version. An oversized hoodie, with a pair of black leggings, trainers and sunnies. Don't let the nonchalance of the outfit fool you. Their make up always remains flawless.

For a more elegant and classic look, think Victoria Beckham go for a pair of jeans a white crisp open-collar shirt and pair them with a long waist fitting trench coat, and oversized sunnies.

If you want to make a statement then go for unapologetic bold. Opt for a memorable colour like mustard or violet and pair it with a great pair of white sneakers slogan tee and sunglasses. Voila! Airport outfit sorted.

So where are we heading? You can head to the gallery for now, and get some more airport style inspiration and then scroll down below to shop your favourite styles!

After earning her first Oscar nomination at the tender age of 13 for her portrayal of the manipulative teen in the movie Atonement, Saoirse Ronan has been constantly on the Hollywood radar. Since then she has starred in movies such as The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Lovely Bones while earning her second Academy Award nod in 2018 for her starring role in Brooklyn.

Saoirse is a busy girl, attending one premiere after the other, award shows and constant press tours. So she employed celebrity stylist Elizabeth Saltzman to take her look and elevate it to A-star status! She usually goes for young and fresh looking gowns with floral details. Her favourite designers include Gucci, Saint Laurent, Valentino and Alberta Ferretti. She's also a British designer supporter opting for the likes of Christopher Kane, Emilia Wicjstead and Burberry. Her style is always evolving: She goes from romantic pink and innocent white to androgynous black pantsuits and slinky silhouettes.

Does a couple who dress together stay together? Who knows but actress Gabrielle Union-Wade and her basketball player husband Dwyane Wade are doing their best to prove the point. Scroll through either of their instagram feeds and you’ll see the cool couple posing in co-ordinating outfits that could have been lifted from a magazine. Both of them are clearly into fashion so when they’re dressing up: Wade compliments his wife’s plunging necklines (as she isn’t afraid to classily show some skin) with slick tailoring. But they’re at their most adorable when rocking matching black on black head to toe, or street-casual looks with matching smiles.

Best known for her roles in 10 Things I Hate About You, Bring It On and Being Mary Jane, the fact that Union-Wade is actually 45 and not in her 30s is hard to believe. What’s so refreshing about this particular couple is how in sync, confident and comfortable they are with each other and their clothes are an extension of that. Peppered between these stylish shots are videos of them dancing together and being genuinely in love which is rarer than you’d think in modern-day celebrity marriages

In a social media world of constant imitation, faking and plain copycats, it was inevitable that a platform would surface calling out any fashion injustice. We're not only talking about your basic high street brand or celebrity brand (Hey Khloe Kardashian!) imitating pieces to the extent that you can't tell them apart. "Diet Prada", aims to tackle any issue in the fashion industry that it condemns unjust:

From the exclusion of certain models from the runway due to any discrimination from race to skin colour, weight or sexual preference. Sexual harassment allegations and overall bad treatment of models is also addressed in the account.

The great part is that although it tackles serious issues the tone of voice is very tongue-in-cheek almost snarky without reaching the point of mean. Here you can find anything from a fake ad for VETEMENTS featuring Kim Kardashian to Rihanna's version of a famous Stella Mccartney faux fur coat to Alice + Olivia copying vintage YSL to models copying each other poses.

Guess who? Jennifer Lopez. Jokes aside… Jennifer Lopez just became the face of Guess and she looks a-m-a-z-i-n-g. At the age of 48, the singer looks younger than ever. Working with the LA based denim brand for the first time, Lopez says she is very proud and honoured to join among the previous inspirational faces of Guess. Embracing the Hollywood glamour and Las Vegas frenzy the glamorous shoot was photographed by Tatiana Gerusova and directed by Paul Marciano. #jenniferlopez #guess #campaign #trend #denim #celebrity #singer

Rihanna just got so cool she's had a street named after her in Barbados. I mean, who doesn't want to visit Rihanna Drive? To mark the occasion the celebrity was seen in a brash but beautiful yellow with what #Vogue are describing as the world's smallest bags. Whether it is or isn't I love that Rihanna has perfectly coordinators her bag even down do some yellow gold jewellery. The girl looks effortless without looking over the top. This golden goddess is side to keep setting trends.

One thing we took away from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement announcement yesterday, besides their infectious joy and the gorgeous ring, was a masterclass in how to wear a white coat now.

The beaming American actress teamed hers with a dark green dress, nude heels and most daringly, bare legs in the cold, completely eschewing the usual neutral or monochrome formula to make the look her own. Less lab coat, more cocktail hour, Markle’s bold move really paid off- proving just how chic a white coat can be and how one can instantly brighten up a dark winter’s day.

She’s not the only one- Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez have both stepped out in and pulled off white coats while staying true to their enviable personal style. White's versatility, as it goes with everything, is akin to the colour black but it makes a much bigger statement as outerwear.

A word of warning, though, as any marks will ruin the effect. Which means steering clear of red wine and coffee (they’re great but those stains are the worst) when wearing yours and making friends with your local dry cleaner. There’s no denying it: a white coat is high maintenance but it’s worth it.

Just when we thought Queen Bey had done it all she went and launched a holiday range. The line is comprised of sweatshirts and wrapping paper as well as, my personal favourite, a onesie covered in 'Yonce'. The line is a lot of fun and I can't imagine another celebrity doing it so successfully. The perfect gift for the fan-girls. Image: Vogue

Beyoncé is a queen. She seems to have found the perfect balance of celebrity stardom with a somewhat hidden personal life. Whilst we might not know what's going on behind closed doors we know what's behind her wardrobe doors. She always looks effortless but chic, as seen here. With high waisted light-wash jeans and a classic white polo neck Bey looks casual but still totally stylish. I love everything down to the camel court shoes which add a slight touch of colour. It's also a look so easy for us to recreate on the high street. Who run the world?
