Unsurprisingly, Queen B slayed so hard at the VMAs this year that she gets a post all to herself! The beginning of Beyoncé's awesomeness at the awards was her red carpet appearance in a dress fit for the gods, and little Blue Ivy accompanying her in an equally beautiful dress (which cost $11,000, by the way!).

The feathery, beaded dress Bey wore was from Australian fashion designer Francesco Scognamiglio's fall 2016 collection. She then went on to give one of the most epic performances the VMA stage has ever seen—instead of performing just one song, as most singers do, she performed five numbers from her super-hit album Lemonade.

The performance was a grand affair indeed, complete with numerous gorgeous outfits, theatrics, and, obviously, Queen B's sheer talent! And we're sure we aren't the only ones who felt faint after that amazing performance. Beyoncé's amazingness definitely has a way of overwhelming all those exposed to it!

We all very clearly remember that terribly awkward semi-smooch Drake attempted with Rihanna at the VMA, and after a lot of confusion, but also speculation, it has become official.

While continuing their tour, Rihanna and Drake locked lips live during a concert at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. Thankfully a snapchatter was able to catch this moment on camera. The pair also got pretty close when singing the official anthem of the summer “Work”. The audience, not surprisingly, completely lost it.

Now that the PDA is a little more confortable, and the couple is pretty much official, there is only one thing to do, wish them the very best!

If we were excited when we heard Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj collabing on the song Side to Side in Ariana's album Dangerous Woman, that's nothing compared to how excited we were to see them perform it on stage!

The two gorgeous songstresses absolutely killed it on the VMA stage as they gave a girly white-and-pink themed performance of the hit number.

This weekend saw the return of the MTV Video Music Awards, which first launched back in 1984, and has always been known for it's controversy! It was the ladies who stole the show this year with Rihanna and Beyonce both putting on spectacular performances.

The Highlights:

1) Rihanna and Drake. Obviously. This will be a moment that'll go down in pop culture history. It wasn't really Drake's night, was it? Not only did he miss out on accepting his award for Best Hip-Hop Video, because of traffic, RiRi also rejected a kiss from him.

However, the speech was rom-com worthy and the whole world swooned. He confessed to the world that he'd been in love with her since the age of 22. Awwwww.

We love Drake, but maybe Rihanna wanted the lifetime achievement award to be about her, not them.

2) Queen Bey.

Beyonce performed a medley of songs from Lemonade, and the crowd went wild. She also included some spoken-word poetry by Warsan Shire.

Did you know that she officially overtook Madonna's record for being the most decorated VMA winner? YAS Queen Bey.

Sidenote, Blue definitely won the red carpet in her princess get up.

3) Britney

Britney Spears made her VMA comeback, after that  "Gimme More" 2009 performance. It wasn't spectacular, but it was pretty good, which will do.

She performed "Make Me" with G-Eazy. Honestly, we'd rather she'd have done it solo, but oh well.

4) Kanye

Kanye looked happy! Yes, you heard us, happy! He was smiling the whole time, staring lovingly at Kim and made a truly random speech. Random, but not angry. Kanye always does whatever he wants, and this year was no exception- yes his ramble wasn't particularly interesting, but it's good to see he'll never be an MTV puppet.

5) Kim

Kim looked unreal. That outfit is so simple but so effective.

 • Meilleure vidéo d’artiste féminine : Hold up de Beyonce
 • Meilleure vidéo d’un artiste masculin : This Is What You Came For de Calvin Harris et Rihanna
 • Meilleure vidéo pop : Formation de Beyonce
 • Meilleure vidéo hip-hop : Hotline Bling de Drake
 • Meilleure vidéo rock : Heathens de Twenty One Pilots
 • Meilleure collaboration : Work from Home ft Ty Dolla $ign pour Fifth Harmony
 • Meilleure chorégraphie : Formation de Beyonce
 • Meilleur nouvel artiste : DNCE
 • Meilleure réalisation : Formation de Beyonce
 • Meilleure direction artistique : Black Star de David Bowie
 • Meilleur montage : Formation de Beyonce
 • Meilleure vidéo format long : Lemonade de Beyonce
 • Meilleure photographie : Formation de Beyonce
 • Meilleur effets visuels : Up&Up de Coldplay
 • Meilleure vidéo dance : How Deep is your love de Calvin Harris & Disciples
 • Michael Jackson Award : Rihanna

On approuve !

-Le look no makeup d'Alicia Keys
 Elle était resplendissante comme toujours.

Faites défiler la galerie pour découvrir les moments forts des VMAs et les looks les plus marquants !

Taylor Swift had tons of major VMA moments we cannot forget; from setting aside her bad blood with Nicki, presenting an award to Kanye West, sitting next to pal Selena Gomez, rocking the red carpet with her huge girl squad, winning the Video of the year, and of course, the premiere of her new and latest single, Wildest Dreams.

As we all know, Tay dropped hints on what the video would possibly look like a week before the VMA's and all we could say was that it would be a jungle-safari themed video. But of course, with any Taylor Swift music video, there has to be a HOT leading man...cue in Scott Eastwood.

Channeling her inner Elizabeth Taylor, alongside with hottie Scott, Taylor's video exuded sexiness, adventure, passion and lost-love.

Watch the video and check it out for yourself and let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

The past 48 hours has seen a Twitter showdown like no other - and it all started with one simple rant; Nicki Minaj crying over the fact neither "Anaconda" or "Feelin' Myself" were nominated for Video of the Year at the VMAs.

It may not have been confirmed in any official capacity but it's no secret Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" video was a dig at nemesis Katy Perry.

Yesterday afternoon, Katy felt compelled to take to Twitter and give us her two cents: "Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman..."

Spelling and grammatical errors aside, we have to say, Katy's got a point. After all, Tay Tay did recruit an ENTIRE girl gang full of fashion and entertainment's hottest young blood for her latest video.

Continuing on, Katy also drags Rihanna into the spat..."The real travesty where is the shine for #BBHMMVideo when VMA eligibility period was 7/7/14-7/1/15 & that gem dropped 7/1...@MTV"

We look forward to what RiRi's got to say about that. But where the hell is Beyonce? And why hasn't SHE defended Nicki? Is this all a publicity stunt? Will someone get smacked at the VMAs?!??

Scroll right to WATCH RiRi's BBHMM and shop below to steal Katy's style from the 2011 AMAs...when she, Nicki and Tay Tay were all peas in a pod.

Do YOU think "Anaconda" or "Feelin' Myself" deserved a nominations for Video of the Year? Let us know by commenting below!

Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift may have cemented their friendship back at the 2011 AMAs (the former thanked the young star for broadening fandom for Super Bass) but as of last night, Nicki kicked off on Twitter on the back of the MTV VMA nominations.

Neither "Anaconda" and "Feelin' Myself" were nominated for Video of the Year and even though Nicki's in with a chance to win Hip Hop Video of the Year, she just ain't happy!

Staring a Twitter rant that saw not only Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Kim Kardashian (?!) and of course Tay Tay jump in, is there something in the air that's making celebrities more vocal than usual?

At 10:39PM, Nicki went in for the kill: "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for video of the year."

Barbs showed their unconditional support for Nicki, responding with evidence on the cultural impact Anaconda has had (....really guys?).

At 11:13PM, Taylor hopped on board: "@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot."

With things simmering down just before midnight, Taylor offered an olive branch to Nicki - even inviting her to stand on stage with her should she win - but was met with this response: "Oh but trust me. I'll be on that stage to collect my awards for vid of the year. Feeling Myself & Anaconda." #badblood

Kanye West has got a lot going on for him. He’s married to the bootylicious Kim Kardashian (for those who don’t know, she’s the woman who broke the internet with her BUTT), shunned Coinye (the cryptocurrency with his face on it) and stole Taylor Swift’s thunder at the VMAs back in 2009.

Years have passed however and Kanye’s since stopped making a habit of interrupting others for the sake of spewing out his own opinions. Soon to unveil his debut adidas trainers at NYFW (more info on this to come!), Kanye keeps himself a busy bee. Pictured here out and about, Kanye dons dark trousers, an army print tee, green hoodie and brown jacket. To steal his look, shop below...
