Tanya Nambiar is the vocalist of Gravy Train, an alternative band from Delhi. Apart from her voice, it's also her style that we love and admire a lot! She left her comfortable corporate job for music, hence her passion has been a huge inspiration for us at Shopcade HQ!

Here's a glimpse of who she is as a person:

How would you describe your personal style?
"It's comfy and casual with lots of jewellery."

What's your favourite attire for a gig?
"Comfort is always the key since I move around a lot while performing. I can't stand still on stage. Sneakers or boots with something sporty, sexy and comfy. I like to be myself yet stand out in a crowd."

Tanya is more classy or sassy?
"Sassy all the way!"

What was the best era for 'music and fashion'?
"The 70s! Fashion wise- Boho-chic-gypsy vibes. Loved it, and music was all disco, smooth jazz, funk and of course a lot of rock that emerged that time!"

One trend that never goes out of fashion?
"The little black dress!"

How does your music reflect in your style?
"I like my music to be relatable, easy listening which reflects my personality. I am also influenced by a lot of genres so that definitely reflects in my music and hence my style which is never predictable. I like to surprise my audience."

How has your style evolved over the years as a musician?
"I experiment more with styles now since I've discovered a lot about myself. I can't be the plain jane. Monotony bores me. I am a lot more confident about myself and hence that has impacted my style over the years."

Which is the music fest you're more likely to attend?
a) Coachella b) Burning Man c) Wacken d) Tomorrowland e) Sunburn
"Most definitely Coachella!"

Tips on music festival makeup?
"Keep it simple and fun. Don't try too hard to be someone you're not. You're there to enjoy the music so you wanna jump around and just have fun. And that should reflect in your style. No over the top makeup or super tight dresses with heels!"

Which celebrity's closet do you dig?
"Beyonce! Also Rita Ora and Rihanna!"

What's a quick hair fix right before a concert?
"Super tight high bun or braids!"

What is the one beauty product you cannot live without?
"Coconut oil! I use it as a makeup remover, hair oil, moisturiser. Can't do without it!"

Name a brand that you swear by?
"I am more of a flea market girl. But I love forever 21 and Asos and Nike."

For those who don’t know, Tomorrowland is one of the biggest electronic music festivals held in the world which happens every year in Belgium. If you happened to make it there this year, we are jealous and you are totally rad. However, if you couldn’t, we feel you and here are the three important things we missed out on.

• MUSIC! If you’re an EDM fan, then you already know what you missed out on. Artists like Tiesto, Axwell, Ingress, Dimitri Vegas etc performed their top hits and Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz headlined the festival this year. Ouch! Attending it could almost have been a dream come true!

• Making new friends Yes, isn’t it a known fact that music festivals can be the best place to make friends? Imagine making a friend who’d then become your best mate! It’s possible, we know because we all have that one friend we made at a music festival.

• BELGIUM!!! We all know Belgium has the best chocolate! Apart from that, it’s also one of the most popular European countries. If you’re a travel buff, you’ve definitely missed out on this glorious opportunity to see this beautiful country.

But do not worry! Tomorrowland will happen again next year and hopefully we have inspired you to start planning in advance. Hopefully, you may also want to plan your outfits and because music festivals are all about colours and prints – below is a small collection curated just for you.

This week has seen an influx of stars, well-known and up-and-coming, earn their place in Shopcade's Best Dressed list!

First up, leggy model Irina Shayk stunned onlookers and paparazzi alike as she pulled up to see new beau Bradley Cooper performing as The Elephant Man at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket. Skulking along past a mob of cameras, Irina's powder pink silken dress caught an ethereal sheen.

Wowing fans at the San Andreas premiere, Alexandra Daddario put on a confident display on the red carpet as she posed in her thigh split red gown.

No-one can deny Cara Delevingne looked awesome and empowered at Tag Heuer's Monaco Grand Prix party over the weekend. In her sharp tailored two-piece, Cara made sure to show off some cleavage in an extreme plunge shirt and blazer...

Standing by her man (GEORGE CLOONEY) at Tomorrowland's Tokyo premiere, Amal Clooney played the part of golden goddess out on the red carpet in her shimmering gold halterneck gown.

Lastly, Britt Robertson certainly does seem to be making a name for herself! Here at the Tomorrowland premiere in Valencia, the 25-year-old cut a clean look in her all-black look with heels and a minidress.
