Hair colours are changing each day. Each day we wake up to a different ‘trendy’ hair colour. I’ve recently coloured mine burgundy and now I woke up to new saying cinnamon hair is on trend. I was more ecstatic than ever since I’d hit the bullseye without even knowing. Cinnamon is a dark ginger colour that gives the shine and wow to your hair. It looks black under dark light and brick red under light. This is a very subtle yet also very statement making hair colour. If you’re not that brave, like me, to completely change your dark hair, a cinnamon colour may suit your liking. #hairstyle #hairtrend #haircolour #hair #beauty #trend #fashion

I am truly obsessed with coats. I browse for a new jacket constantly and I really, definitely, don't need any more - especially faux furs. Whilst this is of course the season we dress head to toe in sparkles; dresses and skirts, something that jazzes an outfit up instantly is a sequin coat. Perfect for a Christmas cocktail high street and designer stores are stocking wonderful, embellished coats and jackets. Throw one of these on and any outfit is transformed. Image: Vogue.com

Christmas is the time to get cosy and for me this extends to the home. I don't just enjoy dressing myself in sequins and velvet but my bedroom is covered in fairy lights, festive scented candles, anything really that sparkles. I love this home look by Anthropologie (image from their Instagram @antropologieeu). This is totally snug from the furry stockings to the festive garland and golden trees. I also love the touch of fairy lights in the fire place. This is a great way to get around have a closed fireplace. Fairy lights or candles decorate the the space warmly and aptly. A perfect Christmas setting.

Topshop smash the party season every year and this Christmas has been no exception. These boots are sure to catch anyone's eye, a true statement shoe. The pointed toe and stiletto heel are completely on trend and I am just obsessed with the sparkles. These shows totally replicate a disco ball, what could be better? Image: Instagram @topshop

Carly Rowena has popped up on my feed here before. Known for her fitness tips she also always works out in style. I've never really been an activewear person but there are certain brands that just get it. Here Carly (image from her Instagram @carlyrowena) looks fab in #SweatyBetty thermals. I love the deep blue and burgundy colours and simple pattern. These would be perfect and cosy for a ski holiday.

Women have been wearing trousers for around a century. Largely due to increased responsibility after the war, we could finally take off our skirts. Feminism has been deemed one of the many words of the year this year on the back of #MeToo movement. I guess it comes as no surprise therefore that our trousers have got a little more powerful too. The side stripe is being thrown on luxe joggers and flares adding a little more structure to trousers. This look from #Topshop (image from their Instagram) is just to die for. Chic and fun and, well, powerful.

I love shirts. I really think they are right for every occasion. Simple or a few frills for work with a leather skirt, corseted with skinny jeans for a night out. I am utterly obsessed with Gabriella Bjersland. She looks impeccable in a Mohanad Kotak shirt. The high shoulders scream glamour yet I would definitely feel confident in this in the day. She just looks too perfect in oversized sunglasses, completed with a Chanel bag, what else?

Fashion of various decades keep storming back down the runways. For the past few years the seventies have been a massive focus for designers - floaty skirts and floaty hair. I am loving that the eighties have recently resurfaced, a new decade trending. #ASOS are fab at incorporating old trends with a modern vibe. This jacket (image from their website) demonstrates perfectly how they do this. The puffed shoulders are totally eighties but the metallics bring us back to present day.

I have always loved #tartan. There is something about it that is just perfect in winter. It looks and feels cosy in bags, skirts, jackets - tartan works on everything in so many colours. Here Lucy Williams (photo from her Instagram @lucywilliams02) wears a #MatchesFashion bag which works perfectly with her faux fur and knitted polo neck. Winter perfection.

Gucci is a brand that produces classic after classic. I love their accessories as I feel they will never become outdated. The Marmont Velvet Shoulder Bag has to be one of my favourite recent pieces. In a range of bold but chic colours like this bright teal (there is also an incredible pink I am lusting after) this truly a statement bag that can transition from day to night glamorously.
