Even the biggest health nuts are prone to these bad habits, but as we enter 2018 it's time to live your best life yet! There are all of those tiny things we tend to do without even noticing that are seriously diminishing our quality of life. But we can take back control by simply acknowledging them. Here are a few examples of no no's:

1. Taking your smartphone everywhere: Even the bathroom because you get separation anxiety. We promise the world will not crumble if you don't have access to your phone for a few minutes.

2. Holding on to grudges. It never helps to hold it in. Excuse the pun. Release your frustration and move on. You have more important things to do.

3. You avoid confrontation. Just like the previous point, you have to express your issue to another person with regards to finding a solution. Problems don't go away by themselves unless we confront them head-on.

4. You postpone health checkups. Yes it's boring and you rather spend your free time doing much more exciting things than waiting in line for your GP but early detection can save you.

5. Binge-watching Friends on Netflix instead of meeting your actual friends.

6. You rely on social media for a self-esteem boost: Blogger Leandra Medine said it best in a recent interview. "Posting on Instagram constantly is a cry for help. I used to post more often when I felt bad about myself." There's no button for self -esteem it takes time and social media are irrelevant. Instead, re-connect with your close friends and family for the perfect self-care boost!

Are you ready for a social media cleanse and a little pampering time? Shop your detox essentials from our expert edit below!

January means resolutions, plans and hopes for a more productive and successful new year, regardless of our individual definition of success. There's no better time for a detox than January. After weeks of festivities numerous delicacies and alcohol, the body needs to recharge and reboot. Without further ado, here's what you need to keep out of your diet for at least two weeks:
Caffeine, Alcohol, Dairy, Gluten, Corn, Soy, Refined Sugar, Shellfish, Tomatoes, Potatoes, White Rice and Eggs.

Add a ten-minute meditation to your morning routine and a commitment to an easy exercise plan even if it's choosing to walk instead of taking the car to work.

January means detox, getting back to fitness after weeks of festivities, wine and delicacies. But this doesn't only include a subscription to your local gym or boxing studio. January is the perfect time to pack up and head to your closest ski resort to get a taste of that snow.

We have selected the must-have outfits to sport on the slopes this year. There is a 70's vibe to the knitwear on trend this season. Chloe, Peter Pilotto and Carven showed zip chunky sweaters that you can pair with legging pants and a padded jacket.

Go for icy white, blues and the Pantone colour of the year - ultra violet to your jackets and trousers.

For apres, go for a skirt tonal creams, and chic browns for the ultimate ski resort look.

We are all glued (and most people will admit- addicted) to our phones, whether we like it or not most of use are dependant on our devices. But why not try switching off now and again and trying some new hobbies.#000000"> Switch off and relax. Switching off from social media is a great way to relax stop our brains going into overdrive. Why not try things the old fashioned way and channel our energy into spending quality time with  friends and family, doing activities.

Meditation and relaxation can be a great way to really relax and spend time with your thoughts.Try a new hobby- there are plenty of new ways to enjoy time away from a screen. Madeline Shaw, the health and fitness author switched off from social media after having her first child to spend time with her newborn away from the pressures of posting. It's a challenge but try it for a day and see if you can resist the temptation- go for some meditation or treat yourself to your favourite activity! We don't know what's going on with the insta fashion pack lately but there's seems to be an affinity towards complex carbohydrates. First it was delicious, colourful plates of pizza employed as props of various insta imagery. Then Youtube followed with an array of digital productions on the pizza diet, eating pizza for every meal, or the pizza challenge. But let's face it. Pizzas as props are quite big, they take up most of the image space while a fork full of pasta is probably more convenient. Enter the Pasta craze!

Is our health food, detox smoothie craze has reached an all time 'we can't handle it anymore' status? So we turn to the diets worst original enemy, carbs? We can't be sure. All we know is that Pizza's Italian, carb-friendly buddy is having a serious moment on our Insta feeds. Pasta on location, full plate of delicious pasta, pasta close to mouth with fork held by hand with sparkly jewellery, pasta art is also big! Expect to see Chiara Ferragni, Tina Leung, Patricia Manfield and Mirta Michelle enjoying a mouthful of yummy pasta on holidays!

Ready for your pasta close up? Then head to our gallery for more tips on how to curate your online pasta eating presence! Not into posing next to pasta but love the imagery? Time to indulge in a few food inspired merch! Shop all the looks from our exclusive edit below!

Wild & the Moon : Plus branché et politiquement correct impossible. Menu "plant-based" et "free from" à peu près tout : gluten, lactose, sucres raffinés, etc.

Easter just ended and most of us have had just a little too much chocolate these past few days… So, if you feel like the excess is starting to make your skin break out, we have the substances you should look for in products for a full skin detox!

The first obvious ingredients that you should look for in beauty products are antioxidants which play a huge role in detoxing.

Then, if you’re looking for thick make we recommend charcoal, which works by drawing out all the dirt out of the pores. Soft clay also works in the same way with the added benefit of containing moisturising botanical oils which hydrate the skin.

Finally, algae based products are great at protecting the skin by stimulating blood flow, and also contain many very healthy and detoxifying minerals!

Scroll down to shop our picks of the best detox products below…
