I have followed Samantha Maria for years and have always loved her style. She's a great influencer to follow for high street trends and high end accessories. This has been my favourite of her Coachella looks so far. This skirt is awesome. I love how it's cut, perfect for swishing around at a festival. Instead of pairing the pink strips with another shade of rose she's opted for a burgundy bralet. Another festival classic in lace. White trainers and sunglasses are the only way to complete the look. A burgundy makeup look is my favorite. This shade makes brown eyes and hazel eyes pop so much. And it looks more interesting and unique than the usual black eyeshadow smokey eye.  What's your take on smokey eyes? photo credit: @emanmakeup  #beauty #makeup #look #instagood

So you've booked the tickets, and you can't wait to check in your newly reserved Airbnb at your Spring holiday destination. But now you're faced with the inevitable dilemma of what to pack. You may want to avoid items that you brought on your last holiday so now it's your turn to coddle in all the holiday essentials without the hefty price tag.

With that in mind, we thought we'd treat you to an exclusive sale! We've prepared an edit of items on sale that you can carry not only on your trip but all season long. Indulge in an array of designer items in our sales selection, courtesy of mytheresa.com, your curated hub for luxury fashion.

We start with your comprehensive beachwear checklist: We've selected a bright yellow patterned Isabel Marant bikini that will accentuate your newly acquired tan. Team the bandeau top with a pair of high-waisted denim shorts with ancient greek sandals and an XXL woven straw sunhat, for your ultimate beach-friendly attire. A chic one-piece swimsuit in a blush pink shade is your perfect-go-to choice for a late afternoon dip in the pool or nearby beach before heading for drinks in the city centre.

For your evening night out or posh dinner by the sea, opt for the GANNI burgundy lace dress with leather gladiator sandals by Alexander McQueen. Finish your look with a violet velvet handbag and glowing makeup that will emphasise your sun-kissed skin.

If you're going to a quick city meeting or errand run try a smart casual look by teaming a sleek pair of denim jeans with a crisp white poplin shirt. Update your basic outfit by trading the shirt for a Victorian-inspired blouse in an emerald green hue for a softer take on the daytime look.

When it's time for dinner by the beach, choose a wool sweater by Isabel Marant in a complementary shade like crimson red and keep warm from the evening chilly weather. For a more playful approach go for a cotton sweatshirt from ALEXACHUNG with a heart embellishment.

Have a look at our gallery for more #travelinspo and shop all 12 Essential Items for your upcoming Spring holiday now!

This makeup look by @chloemorello is soo stunning  I love how she played with rich colors in such an elegant way.  The charcoal black and the gold blends to perfection, and it's so interesting how she applies a darker purple on the waterline but next to it she uses a more wine and burgundy shade of eyeshadow.  The color combination is magic.  Photo Credit: @chloemorello on twitter #beauty #makeup #eyes #trend

If you had told me a year ago I would be lusting after joggers and track pants, for daywear not the gym, I would have laughed. Alas, how wrong I would have been because there is something about them that seriously intrigues me. I don't know what it is and they are definitely still prone to a meme (when you've got spin class at 8 but you're hitting the club at 9). I actually think they can look really stylish. The pair I've chosen are ASOS, and I love the burgundy, pink and blue together. They look so comfy but the sheen of the material makes them almost - chic? Especially with a kitten heel, another trend I didn't think I'd be seen dead in and yet here I am filling my ASOS basket. What do you think of the track pant craze? Image: ASOS

Although velvet is still having a moment in the spotlight, another seventies staple is taking centre stage: corduroy. And there's a large offering too for Spring, whether it's a jumpsuit, skirt or jacket. Contrary to popular belief, corduroy is not only a winter fabric. Like linen, it's quite adaptable to weather climate changes. The strong case for corduroy was made in the Prada show in Paris, while Isabel Marant also offered a touch of corduroy trousers with a 1980's twist.

The tomboyish appeal of the texture was picked up by Alexa Chung who incorporated it into her Alexa Chung collection, while Lemaire showed a rusty cord trouser suit. Gucci that holds the helm historically over the corduroy trend threw out pink flares, floral suits, and signature flippers. The past few seasons we've noticed that there has been a huge resurgence of trends, so it came as no surprise when corduroy made its way back to the catwalks, street style and ultimately our wardrobe. The high street also took notice. The new Stockholm- based fashion brand, The Cords & Co focuses on this material alone making it the corduroy's haven.

This fabric was extremely popular in the 70's especially by Jane Birkin and her bohemian - laissez-faire interpretation of the menswear staple. In the 70's resurgence of the late 90s corduroy was back in stock for both men and women. Nowadays we're seeing it not only in the form of trousers but also as a pinafore dress, and in many shades of pink, to burgundy, green, aquatic or in floral patterns.

STYLE TIPS

Pair a luxe corduroy suit with a white graphic tee for a smart casual outfit that will turn heads all Spring long.

Opt for a tonal approach by wearing a hoodie with a slightly lighter hue over your coloured corduroy trousers.

For a bold look, do a head-to-toe corduroy look. If the full on corduroy look makes you uneasy, match a detail like your socks, sunnies or a shade of your T-Shirt with that of you corduroy trousers.

Finally, you don’t have to settle for trousers alone. Choose a corduroy blazer, skirt, or even dungarees.

I find the trend of metallic lips really cool to give a twist to the usual liquid lipstick. Vampy shades like burgundy, dark purple, blood red and blue-black look spectacular with this finish. Photo credits: @nyxcosmetics on twitter #makeup #beauty #nyx #trend

The lust for velvet continues to capture our imagination with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid sporting the trend that has pervaded the wardrobes of trendsetters and celebrities proving to be a red-carpet staple for Winter months - especially during Award season. From Amy Adams and Rita Ora in a lavish Tom Ford, Lady Gaga and Lily Donaldson in pure black and Nicole Kidman in a plunging velvet Armani Privé dress at this year’s BAFTAs.

Here’s why we’re still craving for that velvet touch.

Velvet massively took off in 2017 and is still going strong this season. This time the look is more elevated - less studio 54 and more uptown-chic. Think tailored suits, swinging dresses and grandiose skirts courtesy of Prada, Koche and Erdem.

You can go completely head to toe in sumptuous rolls of velvet, or select some velvet accessories for a touch of glamour: From quilted cross body bags to velvet embellished platforms, block heels and slingback shoes available both from designers like Prada and Rochas but also more affordable retailers like ASOS and Forever 21.

Velvet’s main characteristics are that elaborate look due to its complex and luxurious texture. However some hues on velvet can have an undesirable effect. When it comes to colour palette opt for shades of burgundy, teal, mustard, and crimson that dominate the Winter 2018 season.

Be the first to sport the velvet trend by selecting your favourite items from our exclusive edit below!

When Rihanna stepped on stage at the 60th annual Grammys last Sunday, we gasped as she unveiled her outfit. It was a long vinyl trench coat in deep burgundy, complete with matching gloves and boots; and in true Rihanna fashion, she proved that confidence can be part of your attire. And no wonder: the ‘Wild Thoughts’ songstress’ love of statement coats is well documented and vinyl has been more associated with clothing than records in recent seasons.

The vibrant hue was most surprising as Rihanna put her own spin on the luxe material. Today's coolest trendsetters are adding vinyl pieces to their everyday attire to infuse a much-needed edginess. And as the fetishistic fabric hasn’t completely shaken off its racy connotations, the juxtaposition with other textures and flattering silhouettes is captivating circa 2018. Check out the street style in Paris, London, New York or Milan and you're bound to find plenty of styling tips.

We’d recommend teaming a sleek pair of vinyl trousers with a soft feathered sweater to indulge in the dynamic contrast between the two. Or trying the ever popular long vinyl trench coat over day and night outfits. You could also opt for a black vinyl midi skirt then tone it down by pairing it with a puffer jacket. Finally, go for the ultimate sexy chic combo of the thigh-high vinyl boot.

Now that the rule that red and pink can’t be worn together has been well and truly broken, think of the new season possibilities. For starters, it’s a cool way to keep on wearing and freshening up all the millennial pink in your wardrobe and red was a big AW17 trend. You can also let this colour combo segue into your makeup bag too by switching up your lip, eye and cheek shades. But back to the clothes, and there’s no escaping the fact that designers and brands have made it even easier to get in on the action by teaming these shades on pieces together. Fire engine and fuchsia, tomato and bubblegum, even the lightest blush and burgundy for maximum contrast (which colour queen Roksanda and Valentino do particularly well) to ensure there’s a combination to your taste and skin tone head to toe. Throw in some neutrals and denim for good measure to break them up.

We’re all well-versed with colour-blocking but red and pink are particularly potent together because the latter is derived from the former when you add white. As a result, these close colours clash rather than complement but so what? Both symbolise love, although red is sexier than romantic pink, and exude confidence and Valentine’s Day is a full-blown celebration of both. With so many outfit options to consider, we say forget the LBD or LRD (little red dress) and do it differently by wearing both together. Your loved one won’t be able to take their eyes off you.

Check out the gallery above for styling inspiration then shop our top red + pink picks in the edit below.

I´ve always been a fan of burgundy in any fashion piece. So this pyjama set by colrovie caught my attention very easily. I adore how t looks to be the perfect mix of comfort and sexiness. And that is very hard to find in a nightwear piece. I could be wearing this a whole day in my house in a Netflix and chill vibe, I would know that I will still look good if any hot neighbor comes by.
