The third city to be taken over by Fashion Week is Milan.

The city clearly showcased many of the trends present in New York’s vanguardist and London’s eccentric Street Styles, but with just a little extra touch of sophistication so typical of Italian style.

For the recurring styles we're talking Slogan Tees (yes, again!), Japanese prints and a lot of pink!

But we also spotted a few additional popular trends such as rainbow prints, athleisure (mixing up athletic pieces with very elegant ones), fish net socks (a great way to use fish nets without going for bare legs) and the extraordinary presence of the Alberta Ferretti cult knit with weekdays written on it.

Click through the Gallery to see the best Street Style looks and then scroll down to shop our selection of the MFW’s must-have trends.

Milan Fashion Week is done and dusted, as the fashion crowd fly over to Paris for the final week of SS17 shows. As usual, we're taking you guys through the best street style looks that were spotted- because we're good to you like that.

Milan Fashion Week is always eclectic, everyone breaks the rules and dares to go OTT. This year many street style stars went for feminine looks with a grunge edge, think embellishment, dark florals, distressed denim, ruffles and velvet.

Naomi Campbell absolutely stunned on the runway for Versace. The veteran supermodel walked in their Spring 2017 show along with models like Irina Shayk, Hanne Gaby, and newer models like Gigi Hadid.

Gigi got to close the show in a killer look: a flowy, sheer-paneled navy dress with strappy sandals and a long windbreaker. Take a peek through the shots from the runway to see Donnatella's latest creations: 80's chic patchwork, long flowy dresses and windbreakers, and bold, cool colours.

See the pics above and prepare to be WOWed.

Tinie Tempah was front row at the Dolce & Gabanna spring/summer 2017 show at Milan Fashion Week on Saturday. The show was a star studded event including Jude Law's son Rafferty modeling the men's collection. Tinie was of course dressed for the occasion wearing some print cropped trousers with a plain tee and amazing green western jacket.

With LCM just over the show has moved to Milan for fashion week. But what have we learned so far? Well London got us pumped for #SS17 with style to boot. Embroidery was one of the biggest trends along with wide leg floaty trousers, & of course all the stripe fans won't be let down. There was also a retro vibe with track tops being a main feature & plenty of soft and shiny satin like fabrics.

So why wait? Get a head start on next summer by shopping these trends right now.

Numerous designers have channeled the power of stripes this fashion month and now that MFW has passed on the torch to Paris, we take a look at three fashion houses (from left to right in the above image) who work the trend in new and exciting ways!

Max Mara: Does a full on striped ensemble not suit the occasion? Tasteful striped detailing can turn an otherwise "regular" outfit into something fun and full of character.

Fendi: Desperate to try stripe on stripe? As seen above, a Fendi woman is unafraid to experiment; by teaming a faux fur striped stole over a monochrome striped top, the added striped skirt with florals makes for a kooky, modern outfit.

Prada: Plain striped pieces are being transformed into artistic graphic print masterpieces which look great when combined with slick black leather.

Shop below for striped outerwear, tops, dresses, bottoms, footwear and accessories and style your look as if you've just stepped off the MFW runway!

Stripes look great on clothing, shoes, purses and furniture. What's next? Makeup! Spotted on models on the runway in NYFW, LFW, and MFW, it won't be a surprise that bold eyeliner looks will be a trend to try!

While you may not want to go overboard with striped eyeshadow or lipstick, you can play it safe while still incorporating this latest style! Stripes are booming, so the more, the better!

Layer 2 or 3 swipes of different colored eyeliner for a fun, glamorous look!

As Milan Fashion Week is all wrapped up, we have finally chosen our favourite shows of the season. And let’s just say it was NOT easy to narrow this list down!

Here are the ones we HAD to talk about:

1. Marni
Marni’s show was a colour block-gasm this season! We absolutely adored the smart-casual solids.

2. Ports 1961
This collection was a delightful mix of black, white, and the occasional pop of colour. So chic!

3. Max Mara
This collection had two elements that tied all the pieces together: stripes and neutrals. What’s not to love?

4. Jil Sander
Jil Sander’s designs have always been every minimalist’s dream, and why should this season be any exception to that? We LOVE the super sleek neutrals and metallics in this collection.

5. No.21
This coloruful, grungy collection with a generous sprinkling of sparkly embellishments was impossible to draw our eyes away from! Because who says you can’t rock colour in a Fall collection?

Scroll the album for all the show pictures! Did your favourite show make it to the list?

Parting your hair down the middle is soooooooo 90s….AND I LOVE IT. It’s coming back in a big way and it’s anything but basic.

Spotted on stylish bloggers at the Milan Fall 2016 Fashion Week Shows, this hair statement is definitely making it’s mark for 2016 hair trend. When normcore hit the scene and few years ago the fashion industry took a turn and simple is now better!

Bangs are cute and all, but a good side part is ultra stylish. Here are some products to help you achieve this look whether it’s slicked down or all natural. You can go the blow dry route, flat iron route or strictly products. A great brush is really handy for this style and any of these will do the job!

Need a new ‘do that’s easy to style? Say hello to the center part look!

This week, the movers and shakers in the fashion industry and beyond have perfectly summed up life in 2015.

With Dolce & Gabbana choosing to debut its SS16 collection with a barrage of models snapping selfies on the runway at MFW, sports commentators at a baseball game called out the Alpha Chi sorority sisters supporting the Arizona Diamondbacks for their selfie antics!

In other viral vids news, JLaw proves to us just how multitalented she is by cramming as many marshmallows she can into her dainty gob while Joseph Gordon-Levitt covers RiRi's BBHMM on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

As for another hot topic in the fashion world, Alexa Chung's 3rd video in Vogue's video series covers diversity and and positive body image in the fashion industry just as Gigi Hadid stands up to social media trolls for "fat" comments...

Bella Hadid, the younger sister of Gigi Hadid and beau of Abel aka The Weeknd is completely one of the hottest models dominating Fashion Week. From NYFW, to Paris, Bella has been gracing the catwalk from sought after designers such as Ralph Lauren, Moschino, Balmain and many more!

Apart from slaying it on the catwalk, Bella has also landed several campaigns such as Balmain, Victoria Secret PINK and a cover feature on V Magazine with her sister Gigi. But on her recent interview for a feature on Porter Magazine, Bella shares her plans other than dominating the modeling industry.

Bella plans to compete in the upcoming 2016 Olympics. Yes, you're reading that right. As you may or may not know, apart from being born to take over the runway, Bella has been riding horses since she was three years old and it is a dream for her to compete in equestrian events at the 2016 Olympics. She tells Porter Magazine "You know how every model is like, "I Do Yoga", Well I find horses have the same effect. You have to put your ego aside and concentrate on making the horses do the things you want it to do, and move in the way you want it to move."

You go Bella, we'd definitely love you to dominate the olympics just as how you slay it on the catwalk.

Check out Bella's runway look at Balmain's Spring 2016 show at Paris Fashion Week and Scroll to the right to see young Bella show off her love for horses.

Alexa Chung wins best dressed in my book every time she steps out of the house, but her look for LFW SLAYED! In true Alexa form, her outfit was classic and chic, pairing a white shift dress with a black coat and loafers.

Her style is effortless and she gets extra points for the comfort factor. Androgynous, structured dressing will definitely be a hit for Fall.

Master this style by shopping our edit below!

With the global fashion set now descending upon Paris for the final week of fashion month, we turn our eyes back to MFW one last time...

Opulence 2.0 - Tod's, Gucci, Etro

We weren't quite ready for the kimono to disappear just yet and luckily, it seems the designers showing at MFW were in full accord! Boasting vibrant prints and lavish embroidery on luxurious silk and lightweight fabrics, you'll feel nothing less than a million bucks when you throw on one of these bad babies (or something like it...).

Netflix & Chill - Dolce & Gabbanna, Giamba, For Restless Sleepers

Yes, it's a thing now. Plus, walking around in PJ-like gear isn't only cool in China anymore- we're all entitled to a bit of printed co-ord action ;) If you're not quite confident enough to pull off the look in its full blown glory, mix and match a printed silk long-sleeved blouse with cream shorts for a toned down version.

The White Party - Salvatore Ferragamo, Aquilano.Rimondi, Jil Sander

Headed to a party in the Hamptons? Dress like part of the pomp and take on a bit of all-white-everything before Labour Day dictates you can't! Crisp, clean and easy to accessorise, we expect to see all-white outfits crop up more often on the streets AND the red carpet.

Sheer Bliss - Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Gucci, Alberta Ferretti

Skin is in and sheer is how we celebrate! Now that the #fblogger scene is taken up by pocket money guzzling teens, us real grown-ups are fighting back and showing them how summer dressing is really done: with flowing dresses with all-over or panelled sheer fabric, obviously.
