As luxury fashion is moving towards fur-free fashion, high street is embracing faux fur. Almost every store has a faux fur stole from colours ranging from blacks to bright yellows. Faux fur stoles are just like magic wands. Style them over any outfit and instantly your style looks more poised and expensive. I recently bought a striped one that is grey, black and white, I even wore it on a teddy-bear coat and instantly I looked more polished. A faux fur stole is just the perfect buy for this season… #fauxfur #fur #stole #furstole #fauxfurstole #trend #fashion #streetstyle

Thanks to Prada, fur hemlines are now everywhere. On the hemlines of skirts and tops, this style is perfect for the holidays. Style the fur hemlined skirt with a silk top to wear it on new years. Or you can try out the fur trend with sweaters with fur details and style it with your jeans to wear it casually. Opt for the dark coloured furs to make a more understated style or go bold with bright coloured furs. Don’t forget to make sure the fur is faux! #fakefur #fauxfur #fur #furhemlines #prada #streetstyle #fashion #trend

If there's one prominent trend that emerged this season it was without a doubt the fluffy trend. Blame it one LOVE magazine's long and impressive photo spread of models sharing the lens with muppets and fluffy accessories. You can even blame it on Kylie and Kendall's collection featuring a faux fur white backpack. You can also simply say that faux fur, and fluffy items are the perfect winter accessory to stay cosy and chic.

In this guide we have featured the best items you can find for that girl who loves this trend - which by the way is every girl!

Emphasis on the faux please! A faux fur stole s both very affordable and it instantly gives you the Hollywood vibe. I was walking around the stores recently and saw that in almost every store I went to there was a colourful faux fur stole. I’m guessing this is the trendiest winter accessory. I couldn’t help myself but do an impulse buying on faux fur stoles. What can I do? I’m a fashion addict! Yet, affordable pieces are just everyones favourite. And this purchase can do more to an outfit than you can imagine. I wore a simple coat with the white and black colour block faux fur stole that I bought and I looked ultra-luxe in seconds. Give this trend a try, I’m sure after your first buy you will want to get all colours that are out there! #fauxfur #stole #fauxfurstole #accessories #winter #fashion #trend #streetstyle #shopping #fashionaddict #shopaholic

I really like Fendi for the cultural heritage behind each accessory. Here is one of the iconic Fendi ‘baguette’ bags! It would be perfect if the fur would be faux, but the fashion industry is improving a lot! Do you agree, girls? #fendi #handbag #fauxfur

As winter is slowly creeping in, we’re searching high and low for the best coats. Luckily, Shopcade has some great pieces that will take you through the winter and keep you warm and stylish. This winter go for high drama, leopard print, faux fur, brights or shearling!

Try a full length checked coat for a classic style fix.

Red or Leopard print hare fab for a classic coat that will still make you stand out!#000000"> Faux fur coats are on the hit list this winter. After Gucci’s ban on real fur, the faux types are having a comeback in bright colors, great for the daring everyday coat or party showstopper.

Shrimps have some great styles, as seen on the model, writer, and poet Greta Bellamacina.

Back on the block are the fluffy white shearling sheepskin coats as seen on Insta stars Camille Charriere and Jeanne Damas this week.

Whichever coat you choose this winter Shopcade to have a fantastic selection of on-trend and classic pieces.

We may have entered the anti-fur era but it doesn't mean faux fur is also out of our wardrobes too! Gucci recently announced the news of going fur free in the 2017 Kering Talk. As fashion moves to a more sustainable path we hope that other luxury brand also follow Gucci's footsteps. Faux fur is the perfect option of wearing this style while being cruelty free! Opt for some colourful faux fur coats to upgrade your daily look. #fauxfur #antifur #furfree

Last Wednesday, Gucci announced that from the SS18 collection onwards, will cease using mink, fox, Karakul lamp, rabbit and raccoon, as part of its new "Culture of Purpose" sustainability plan. The luxury brand also announced that it will join the Fur Free Alliance, eliminating animal fur and will contribute one million euros as a founding partner of UNICEF's Girls' Empowerment Initiative.

This news come after a number of luxury retailers have also gone down the sustainability path such as Hugo Boss, to Armani and YOOX Net-A-Porter. Although for Gucci in particular who was very much associated with old-luxury status items including fur it's quite a departure.
Even though real fur is on the out, faux fur coats, accessories, bags and fur embellishments are trending more than ever.

Demi Lovato pulls off a fiery, glamorous look this month for Billboard magazine. The young singer poses with Nick Jonas and alone, in dramatic fur stoles, a fishnet corset and tights, and sky-high black peep-toe pumps. She also appears in a glittering sequin gown, showing off her curves.

She completes the look with romantic blood red lipstick and bold brows. Inside, Demi talks about not achieving her goals, changing her outlook, and her plans for her future kids.

Selena Gomez has taken to Instagram to show a first-look at her new campaign for Louis Vuitton. The campaign, entitled 'Series 5', was shot by the infamous photographer Bruce Weber. Following a cover for Vogue Brazil in May, featuring Selena and Nicholas Ghesquiere there were a lot of rumours about the fashion house and singer working together.

Selena hinted back in May on Instagram about the campaign by captioning the photograph of her Vogue cover with 'Exciting things to come'. This meant that the venture was't much of a surprise but nonetheless she looks fierce and unlike we've ever seen her before!

The dark brown lip, oversized faux fur hat and geometric print crop-top all create the perfect autumn/winter'16 look that highlights the star of the show- no, not Selena- the bag.

The second image of Selena that has been released shows her in a feminine panelled dress with ruffling detail on the hem which counteracts the chunky heeled boot styled with it. Once again she is showcasing a dark lip which is one of this season's must-have beauty trends; by keeping the rest of her make-up minimal the look is more wearable.

On the very last day of LFW, tired bloggers, buyers, editors and celebs piled into the dingy recesses of Brewer Street Car Park for the Toga show at 9am. As several of us witnessed the night before at Vin + Omi's after-party, this green juice downing crowd were probably way more exhausted from snapping pics for social than partying up a storm.

Wearily checking out Yasuko Futura’s second ever LFW show, we can no doubt expect some variation of the collection’s knitted flares, tulle skirts, studded dungarees and marabou feather coat hanging on high street rails come September.

Mother of Pearl kicked off at Claridge’s Hotel and showed love for high waisted garments, florals and sports luxe detailing. Soon after, the Christopher Raeburn presentation debuted a collaboration with Woolmark featuring upcycled military uniforms.

A neutral colour palette, slick tailoring, touches of leather and faux fur detailing dominated at the Amanda Wakeley show and with Hackney based Marques’ Almeida showing colourful, pillowy quilted coats we’re relieved to see designers creating clothes to shield even the skinniest of models and fashionistas from the harsh, cold winter!

Later on at Hotel Cafe Royal, Emilio de la Morena showed his collection with plenty of coloured lace in classic cuts. Gracing the venue with their exalted presence, Daisy Lowe, Ella Eyre, Tallia Storm and a rumoured former girlfriend of Jude Law were in attendance.

Sad that LFW is over? Get your fill of fashion and fun with our competition in which you can win a £1000 trip to London with a BFF!

Millie Mackintosh’s reality TV days are far behind her, with the fashion designer and entrepreneur now concentrating on her super-popular clothing line and giving healthy lifestyle advice.

The former Made In Chelsea star is now known for her undeniable sense of style, so we’ve done some sleuthing to find these three essentials you need to dress like Millie:

1. Embrace faux fur: Millie keeps warm in a range of faux fur jackets, coats, scarves and gilets, and switches it up with thick wool and shearling pieces as well.

2. Match your footwear: Millie always finds a way to change up her footwear by matching it to one item of clothing. This could be red ankle boots to match a red faux fur scarf, black flat shoes to match a black blazer, or even light brown boots to match her hair!

3. Embrace layering: Another thing Millie does well is layers! Her outfits are often accompanied by stylish jackets, statement necklaces or stunning scarves.

Dressing for Christmas Day tends to depend on two main factors - what your plans are for Xmas Day and what fashion goodies you received from under the tree!

Whether going out for Christmas lunch or staying in, dressing down in casual chic is best for Xmas Day, leaving you free in the evening to rock a more dressed-up look.

To that effect, our top five tips for dressing on Christmas Day are:

1. A comfy but stylish (and sparkly!) Christmas jumper is perfect for a wintery Christmas Day.

2. If you’re in the mood for something more girly, try a simple dress paired with thick tights and boots.

3. Tone down your accessories, choosing a few key pieces to make a statement. We love the Rose Gold Swiss Ladies Watch by Rodania.

4. When it comes to make-up, why not opt for nude lips with winged eyeliner for a low-key look?

5. Don’t forget to top off your Christmas Day outfit with a stylish coat or jacket.
