Having designed the world's first ever wrap dress in 1974, Diane von Furstenberg's current collections more than reflect her pivotal role in the creation of one of fashion's most flattering silhouettes for women of every shape.

Thanks to the return of '70s inspired fashion to the runways and the high street this season, add a wrap dress or two to your AW15 wardrobe and take to the streets in a figure flattering look you'll never want to part with!

NYFW arrived last week and we could not take our eyes off the runway. From falling models to springs biggest trends, we’ve zoned in on the top five trends to ace your spring style.

Lace It Up: Givenchy, the ultimate designer was 100% our favourite show. From the best trends to beautiful embellished pieces, Givenchy mastered the different looks. Yet the key trend was just simply lace.

Go Metallic: Diane von Furstenberg shows us how to look smokin' hot and trendy this spring/summer '16 with splashes of metallic.

Cut It Out: Keep it simple and cut it out. Opening Ceremony stopped NYFW with this sophisticated stylish trend.

Stripes with Wang: Alexander Wang brought the best of big stripes to NYFW for his 10 year anniversary show.

Gingham Style: The light printed gingham is a style that will not go amiss this spring, as style icon VB sets the trend at NYFW.

Want more NYFW? Check out our US coverage of all the top shows and get all the gossip from backstage here!

Spearheading the Diane Von Furstenberg AW15 collection is none other than Karlie Kloss!

Appearing in a a short film by Peter Lindbergh, "DVF Secret Agent" follows the former Victoria's Secret Angel on a journey of intrigue (packed with numerous wardrobe changes, obviously) as she's pursued by the enemy.

With the aptly named Secret Agent Handbag being the real star of the show, we're stoked the range is available for pre-order - coming out on Sep 30th!

"Karlie can do anything she puts her mind to," Diane Von Furstenberg tells Vogue. "She is a student, an entrepreneur, a sister, a friend. So I am sure she could be a secret agent in real life. She certainly played the part beautifully."

Praising the 23-year-old for being "so much more than just a supermodel", Diane explains the choice in casting Karlie lies in her ability to convey "the multifaceted nature of a woman."

Last night's Met Gala saw the global style set descending upon New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art with ferocious aplomb. Nicknamed "Fashion Prom", we expected no less than the very best from those in attendance. Unfortunately however, some didn't quite make the cut!

This year's theme was China: Through the Looking Glass. And here's what our fave celebs came up with...

Kendall Jenner dazzled in Calvin Klein while RiRi's attempts to hog the red carpet were actually successful; thanks to her canary yellow curtain style gown by Guo Pei. Yes, Chinese royalty were adorned in "golden" (not yellow) garb and RiRi might've been in Coldplay's Princess of China but an Empress she does not make!

Rosie Huntington-Whitely had no trouble whatsoever keeping the cameras on her - with a revealing yet tasteful champagne Versace gown showing off her curves. Sadly for the usually en pointe Sarah Jessica Parker, the Sex and the City star went a step too far with her Philip Treacy custom head dress. Next time Carrie, stick a flower in your hair! Chinese princesses were all about floral hair accessories, trust me.

Claire Danes looked a vision in Valentino; keeping her look sleek and elegant. While the silhouette may have been simple, the forest green pleated skirt is truly mesmerising. Unfortunately for Bey's little sis Solange Knowles, perhaps she should've simply kept her head down after last year's elevator fiasco. We're sure she didn't want to be out-staged by Bey but Giles Deacon should really know better than to turn clients into walking metallic shellfish...

Red carpet besties Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid shone in Versace and Diane von Furstenberg, respectively. However, the Olsen twins shared no such luck. Sticking it to The Man once more, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen went all-black-everything/gothic grandeur (and looked pretty pasty too...)

Lastly, English rose and James Bond's wife (SOB) Rachel Weisz cut an elegant figure in Chanel while for the first time ever, we've had to do something truly shocking...

Put Cara Delevingne on the Worst Dressed list!
