Nottingham, Nottinghamshire; Richmond, Surrey; Nottingham, Nottinghamshire;:: This creative and fun two day photography course sees budding photographers becoming much more familiar with their digital cameras. Very hands-on without all the technical jargon, this is perfect for complete beginners or those with some basic understanding of their DSLR camera. Day one includes sessions in aperture, shutter speeds, exposure control, ISO and white balance and the fundamental rules of creative composition. On the second day take part in a photoshoot at a nearby location. With a course trainer on hand, get creative with tips given by the professional to ensure all the necessary skills have been picked up. Cover aspects such as focusing points, raw V jpegs and filters then finish by receiving detailed course notes. Availability: Available at least four weekend dates a year. Weather: The course may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain). Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Starts at 9.30am and finishes at approximately 4.30pm each day, including a break for lunch (not provided). Numbers On Day: A maximum of 12 participants share the day. Spectators: Dress Code: The experience will begin indoors but much of it will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately with suitable footwear. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age 16. Participants don't need any previous photography experience, but must have a digital SLR camera. Other Info: Lunch is not provided, so please bring it with you. The course trainers are all hand-picked working photographers who share a passion for photography.
