Enjoy a more scenic, relaxing alternative to London's tubes and buses while drinking in the sights on a Thames river cruiser. The cruise gives you the opportunity to fully appreciate the capitals unique architecture and rich historical heritage, with fantastic views of Tate Modern, St Paul's and The Houses of Parliament (among many other incredible landmarks). If you wish to explore, you are more than welcome to hop on and off at any of the four piers during your trip. Also included within this experience are tickets to the capitals famous Tower of London, her Majesty's Royal Palace and home of the legendary Crown Jewels. Westminster, London Availability: Cruises to the Tower of London operate every day of the year except Christmas Day. The Tower of London is closed over the Christmas period from 24 to 27 December and 2 January. Weather: Duration: Experiences start from 10am (with other departures throughout the day). Your Tower of London ticket is valid until 6pm, with last admission at 5pm (4pm Nov to March as the Tower closes at 5pm). Numbers On Day: The river cruiser carries a maximum of 250 passengers. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave from the river bank. Dress Code: If planning to explore London on foot, we'd recommend comfortable, flat shoes. Guidelines: Please refer to City Cruises website (http://www.citycruises.com/maps.htm) for a map to the pier. As a guide, it is within easy walking distance of the nearest underground (Westminster on the Jubilee, Circle and District lines). Take exit one from the tube and turn left. Continue straight to the bridge ahead, turn left at the set of stairs and follow them down to City Cruises where the ticket office is clearly signed. Restrictions: Four people of any age, with at least one participating adult accompanying any children. The boats happily accommodate wheelchair users but be aware the Tower of London can only offer wheelchair access to The Jewel House and is otherwise restrictive. Other Info: There are refreshment services on the cruiser. Smoking is not permitted on board. Please present the booking confirmation letter at the City Cruiser ticket desk in order to receive a day pass and Tower of London tickets.
