Learn how to be a secret agent. Begin with a full mission brief before being guided by a designated team leader to carry out a series of tasks including assault courses, code scrambling, abseiling, initiative exercises, espionage, climbing and survival techniques. After a break for lunch, learn how to build a bivouac shelter and find out trailing, tracking and spy communication techniques. This is challenging, practical and most of all fun - make new friends, uncover hidden talents and take away a range of useful skills. Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire Availability: At least two Saturdays during the school summer holidays. Weather: Most of the activities take place outdoors. Only in very poor weather conditions, for personal safety, will your mission be aborted. So if it's raining, you will get wet! Duration: You must arrive by 9am for your briefing. Activities run from 9.30am until 4.30pm, with an hour's break for lunch. After your debrief you can be collected by your driver at around 5pm. Numbers On Day: There will be a maximum of 12 other agents in your team. Spectators: There are limited cafe facilities for parents/guardians who want to drop off and pick up young agents, but this experience isn't suitable for spectators. Dress Code: Activities take place indoors and outdoors, so dress for the weather and wrap up warm in winter. Bring a change of clothes in case you are caught by the enemy (or the weather) and covered in mud! All specialist clothing and equipment will be provided. Guidelines: From the north: via M56, M53 Chester bypass, A483 Wrexham bypass and Oswestry bypass. Follow A5 to Shrewsbury turning left onto B4397 to Ruyton XI Towns. From the south: via the Shrewsbury ring road and along the A5 (the route to Oswestry and North Wales). From A5, turn right onto B4397 (signposted Ruyton XI Towns). Boreatton Park is located (on your left) just off the B4397. Please follow the one-way system up to the venue. Restrictions: Suitable for girls and boys aged between 8 and 16. Other Info: Agents are requested to leave all previous spy knowledge and specialist gadgets behind. The PGL staff are young, enthusiastic and have total commitment to every child's enjoyment and safety.
