Durham, County Durham:: A Diggerland experience for four in Country Durham is a fantastic family fun day out. Offering something for all ages, kids and adults alike will love learning about these amazing digging machines. The park at Diggerland is well equipped with dumper trucks, mini diggers and giant diggers and plenty of rides to keep everyone amused and enthused. There are loads of different rides and because you have paid for the day, you can ride again and again on your favourite. Choose from classics such as Skittles, Dippy Ducks, Dirt Diggers and Sky Shuttle. Availability: The park is open at weekends and bank holidays from February to the end of October and seven days a week during local school holidays. It closes during November, December and January. Duration: The park opens at 10am and guests are free to stay until 5pm (or 4pm in February). Numbers On Day: Spectators: Any additional adults or children (aged 3 and over) can pay on the day to enter Diggerland. The parks do not allow entry of dogs, with the exception of guide dogs. Why not take your own picnic? Dress Code: Please dress for comfort and wear suitable footwear such as trainers or wellies. There is a chance that you may get a little muddy, so bringing a change of footwear is a good idea. After six miles, turn left at the roundabout, signposted to Langley Park then turn right into Riverside Industrial Estate at Langley Park.
