Chichester, West Sussex:: Experience some of Europe's most impressive ever GT classics on this amazing event, hosted at historic Goodwood. Following a briefing, get introduced to the three grand tourers at your disposal. The classic Ferrari 308 boasts a top speed of 159mph while the timeless Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic supercars ever created. You'll recognise the Replica AC Cobra instantly by its infamous white racing stripes, while the lightweight design makes it the perfect machine for tearing around this revered track. After driving each car for three laps you will end your experience with a high-speed passenger ride lap in a performance saloon, just to make sure you walk away with your appetite for speed truly satisfied. Availability: At least one weekday per month, more frequently between April and October. Please be aware that experiences do not operate at weekends. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow or ice) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Duration: Lasts one to one and a half hours, including in-car briefing and driving time. Numbers On Day: Expect to share the track. All time driving the GTs is one on one. Spectators: A multi-million pound retro-look makeover with a specially designed balcony over the pits makes it ideal for spectators. Children must be closely supervised at all times. The cafe offers excellent food and refreshments. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes, as the pedals in these cars are close together. Please don't wear nylon clothing. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: From London A3, take A286 to Haslemere. After Singleton village, turn left past Goodwood Racecourse, following brown signs to Goodwood House. Drive past the house, across mini-roundabout and into the aerodrome on your right. From Southampton and Brighton take A27 to Chichester, again following signs to Goodwood House and the aerodrome is on your left. At the airfield go under the circuit and follow the road left all the way to 'Mithril Racing'. Restrictions: Minimum height is 5'2'', maximum is 6'1''. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Drivers must be confident and hold a full manual driving licence (to be produced on the day). Other Info: Each lap is a full two and a half miles in length, making Goodwood one of the longest mainstream circuits in the UK. High-speed laps are usually in a Mini Cooper S (subject to availability). Rights are reserved to replace any of the vehicles if necessary When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
