Update a home with this Limited Edition Trano reed diffuser from Baobab Collection. Perfect for placing in any living space, the fragrance diffuser is infused with fragrance that will transport you to a far off land and features designs that have been hand crocheted by women artisans. Finished with reeds to easily diffuse the scent, this makes a great gift idea or pair with complementing candles available separately. Trano means "house" in Malagasy and Baobab Collection have chosen this evocative name to celebrate home design, both inside and outside your house. The third collection covered with raffia, the Trano collection has been hand crocheted by a cooperative of Malagasy women with an ancestral know-how that they pass on from mother to daughter. Inspired by the art of painting the outside of the walls of their houses with colourful frescoes and geometric patterns, Baobab Collection wants to highlight an artistic heritage, a collection between art and craft. With a view to preserving this endangered ancestral art, an association, MTAM (Mpumalanga Traditional Art Market), was created in South Africa. Its aim is to preserve and promote Ndebele art by helping artists make a living, this association enabled Baobab Collection to travel to South Africa and meet the Ndebele women artists and their daughters. It was with this in mind that Baobab Collection purchased and exhibited three Ndebele frescoes, and will donate part of the sales to the foundation. Key features: * Limited edition reed diffuser * Material: glass, raffia * Fragrance notes: wood fire, grapefruit and eucalyptus leaves * Jagged beige and black design * With an ochre tone reminiscent of the archaic Ndebele art * Named after a chief of the Ndebeles tribe * Created in association with the MTAM (Mpumalanga Traditional Art Market) * Part of the Trano collection * Entirely handmade, colours & pattern can vary from piece to piece
