Zayn is slowly taking over swooning our hearts with his music. With his chart-topping single, "Pillowtalk" reaching the top spot in 68 countries, he's still has a lot more in store for us. But last night, Zayn took us to another level when he performed his latest song, "It's You" on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show.
The balladeer showed us another side of him, putting light on his split from his former fiancée and Little Mix singer, Perrie Edwards. And it wasn't hard to decipher that the song was about his past relationship. Even more, Zayn openly said on his recent interview on Beats 1 radio show that his album and the songs "was a form of therapy for me and it did help me get through some shit."
Definitely a new side of Zayn we're delighted to see - far from the bright, catchy, dancy pop tunes that he was "forced" to do during his time with One Direction. In addition, Zayn also released the cover of his album at the Tonight Show which caused some stir as it had a huge resemblance of Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter III and IV album covers. But Zayn clarified it on his Twitter "Use your brain, appreciate art, don't discriminate what you don't understand." Very well said Zayn.
