Stella McCartney has once again designed a limited edition lingerie set for Breast Cancer Awareness month- this time recruiting Cara Delevingne to model the hot pink pieces.
This is the second time the designer has raised awareness and money for the cause. Last year she enlisted Kate Moss to front the campaign and in true Mossy style, her pose caused a storm as she revealed part of her boob for the promo shot. Shock, horror.
Scandal aside, this is a brilliant cause to support, with awareness month officially beginning in October, Stella is setting the standard high with this fashionable set.
She explained: “Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women all over the world.
While most people are aware of the terrible disease, many forget to take the steps to make the effort to detect it at its early stages, so I designed a set to remind women to consider their health and visit their doctor regularly.
Not only does this set look and fit great, it also serves and an important healthy reminder.”
A percentage of all sales will go to the Linda McCartney Centre as well as The National Breast Cancer Foundations in the US and Australia.
Keep your eyes peeled for more pink products hitting the shelves next month...
