No matter how much time has passed since their initial dispute, it looks like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's mutual dislike of one another is still going strong!
American talk show host Andy Cohen may have accidentally-on-purpose stuck his nose in where it didn't belong, only to realise this particular celebrity feud won't be coming to an end anytime soon!
In Cohen's memoir, Superficial: More Adventures From the Andy Cohen Diaries, he describes [kind of] unintentionally provoking Swift into throwing shade at Perry at the 2016 Met Gala afterparty in May. As Cohen and his agent Bryan Lourd waited for for Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson to perform, the former found Swift at the bar and the following ensued...
"Why I felt the need to get involved I will never know (maybe I was auditioning for her Squad?) but I innocently said exactly the wrong thing to her," Cohen writes. "which was: 'Your friend Katy is sitting in the corner and there's plenty of room around her."
Taylor responded with, "Katy who?"
"I said, 'Perry', at which point she clearly let me know that she's the exact opposite of her friend," Cohen wrote. 'I kind of gasped, realising she was in the most famous feud of all the feuds."
Cohen then admits he was "completely mortified" and Swift ordered him "not to say a word about this on my show, and said that she's watching."
"I sputtered that I had no plans to say a word about it on my show - as a matter of fact, I silently vowed to stop playing into the hype that she created around her song 'Bad Blood,'" he wrote, but adding, "She didn't threaten me about putting it in my book, so here we are."
