Remember all those looks we featured of Rihanna heading back and forth to the studio over the past year? Well, that was actually for something because her long awaited eight album has been just been announced.
Looking gorgeously gothic in a LBD and black silk coat, RiRi revealed the name and artwork of her masterpiece at a private party in LA last night.
Titled Anti, the album artwork features a five-year-old Rihanna with a crown over her eyes and a red balloon in hand, in a snap thought to be taken of her on her 'first day at Daycare'.
Collaborating with Roy Nachum, Rihanna told The Guardian: "He sees things beyond the surface, which is why I decided to collaborate with him. He really interpreted it in his own way, with exactly the message I wanted".
Referring to the artwork cover being peppered with Braille, she added: "The whole idea behind the Braille is that people who have sight are sometimes the people who are the blindest". Woah, did Rihanna just get really deep?
What do you think of the artwork, does it make you excited for its release? Scroll right to see a teaser!
