Ending our day with the climactic fashion showcase that was Sorapol's SS16 runway show, the old grandeur of the Royal College of Surgeons served as a fitting yet contrasting venue to the collection's colours of Holi palette.
The standout show for us by far today, Sorapol wowed us with a show of warrior queens in dip dyed silk, floral jacquards, crystals, goldwork and of course- armour!
Having started our morning at Fashion Scout's show for Sabinna, we'd be lying if we said we didn't expect to see more 3D printed flowers throughout the day!
Moving on to The Swedish School of Textiles epic BA and MA catwalk extravaganza, we were treated to everything from digital culture inspired design to extreme distressed denim. Worried that we'd spotted a few potential catwalk fails, near distrastrous events were narrowly avoided by swift help from backstage- though don't say we told you that...
Maral Yazarloo's collection unveiling left no person unimpressed; the 22 looks draw inspiration from historical dress from ancient Persia, medieval India and the Middle East.
With the other half of Shopcade's Team LFW taking in the delights of Holly Fulton in Golden Square, we hear neon brights in classic waist cinching silhouettes is BIG next season- with seashell embroidery, obviously.
