Cheryl Fernandez-Versini found fame with ITV's Popstars: The Rivals (2002) in which she won a place with girl group Girls Aloud but her most recent stint as an X Factor judge has led to criticism by fans on Twitter over her slim frame.
In the past, Cheryl has spoken out about how "skinny shaming" should be made illegal but that hasn't stopped fans of the programmed from taking to Twitter and sharing their concerns for the TV personality's svelte bod.
@dogglesnag Tweeted: "@SimonCowell please do something about Cheryl being so skinny. I almost lost my daughter to an eating disorder because she wanted that look."
Others weren't so diplomatic with their views; @MelClements91 said "Cheryl has lost her sex appeal now that she's a bag of bones. Why did you get so skinny? Stop" while @Brooke_Revelle Tweeted: "Cheryl is too skinny to be allowed on tele."
