What do drag queens and Kim Kardashian have in common? They bake! Not with aprons and ovens mitts - but with light pressed powder and make-up sponges!
We've all tried contouring
and even gave strobing
a go, but thanks to Kim's make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic, baking's once again be launched into mainstream beauty techniques.
So, what's so special about baking? A make-up setting technique that involves layering a THICK wad of the lightest shade of powder onto your make-up, once left there to "bake - for 10mins to 30mins - will give you a fabulously flawless finish.
Perfect for when being photographed in harsh, bright lighting, baking not only keeps your make-up looking immaculate for longer but highlights wherever you apply your powder in bulk. We recommend the bridge of your nose, cheekbones and under the eyes as prime spots for baking!
As for application, a brush simply just won't do. Time to stock up on make-up sponges, powder puffs and blenders!
