Park Life and Field Day kicked off over the weekend and Isle of Wight and Glastonbury are just around the corner, so now is officially the time to start planning your festival wardrobe.
Firstly, think about which celeb you want to channel. Kate Bosworth, Alexa Chung and Kate Moss are all safe bets, but newbies like Kendall and Kylie Jenner are stealing the scene with their new boho style too.
If you’re worrying about what you’re wearing when you’re there, you’re not having enough fun. You want to look stylish but you also want to be able to dance until dawn without being in pain or soaking wet and that’s where the essentials come in.
Whatever you do, make sure you have a waterproof jacket and a good pair of wellies. They are the easiest thing to forget but, thanks to the unpredictable British weather, they are hands down the most important things you could buy.
Once you have the essentials, it’s time to get playful. Trade in your neon for fringing in earthy tones that give a nod to the seventies trend we can’t get enough of right now. Other must-haves include a pair of denim cut offs, a distressed band tee and fringed waistcoat or a chic 70s-inspired billowing blouse.
Then it's onto accessories. Think fringed drawstring bags, multi-chain necklaces and statement sunglasses. We’ve scoured the high street for the hero pieces you need. so sit back, click through and prepare to shop!
