How do those celebs look SO good?
While you might not be able to spare hours and hours with a personal trainer or have an army of stylists to make you look amazing, you might just be able to get an A-list body by adopting an A-list diet.
Read on for some of the most popular diets loved by celebrities....
The Five-Factor Diet
Eva Mendes, Alicia Keys and Amanda Seyfried are all known to follow this diet by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternack. It includes three meals and two snacks each day, with each meal including protein, fibre, carbs, fluids and healthy fats.
The Alkaline Diet
Victoria Beckham is known to follow the alkaline diet that involves maintaining the body’s pH level between 7.35 and 7.45 by eating more vegetables, and fewer grains and protein.
The Vegan Diet
Ultra-stylish Bey and Jay-Z are vegans, as well as Lea Michele, Olivia Wilde and Anne Hathaway. Getting rid of meat, animal products and dairy may just help you lose weight and feel healthier.
The Macrobiotic Diet
This is an extremely restrictive diet that eliminates wheat, eggs, meat and dairy. We’re told Madonna follows this diet which involves lots of vegetables, and particularly sea vegetables such as wakame.
The Dukan Diet
Kate Middleton apparently used this diet to lose weight for her wedding. The diet involves three phases: phase one is all protein, phase two adds certain veggies on certain days, in phase three you get to add foods such as cheese, and in phase four you maintain phase three but revert to only protein one day of the week.
The Paleo Diet
This ‘caveman’ diet has recently surged in popularity and involves eating like our prehistoric ancestors might have: plenty of lean protein, fish, fruits, vegetables and healthy fats are in and dairy, potatoes, refined sugar, salt and refined vegetable oils are out. Paleo-loving celebs include Miley Cyrus, Uma Thurman, Jessica Biel and Megan Fox.
