She's one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood and we can't help to think about her role as a sweet little face from I Am Sam. But she wants to prove otherwise that long gone are the days as a child actress. She wants to be now known as a grown up Hollywood Actress.
Gracing the cover of NYLON Magazine's May 2015 issue, Dakota embraces and styles it up in a hippie chick, 70's themed shoot, showing some skin, and channelling her inner bohemian babe.
With her no-so-little sister Elle following her footsteps, she says there's no rivalry and that she will support her every step of the way.
She's a not a fan of the social media fad as well noting that “I feel like if I did it, I’d start to measure my experiences by how good of an Instagram it’s going to turn into,” she says. “And I don’t want to be living my life trying to see it all in a square, trying to get a photo.”
Seems like there's more to Dakota than just being a grown up lady.
