Read our instructions below to master contouring so you can walk out with your head high. Literally!
Map your face:
Grab your contouring kit and with the darker of the two shades, trace your temples, the perimeter of your face and edge of the jawline. If you have a big forehead, apply a thick line merging into your hairline; similarly, force a smile to apply a line across your cheeks in the crease for accentuated cheekbones.
For a sharper, more slender nose, grab an angular brush and draw a thin line on the two sides of your nose going down towards the tip, leaving the center clean.
Grab your beloved beauty blender, moisten it using a fixing spray and blend the sharp edges of your foundation.
Keep in mind that contouring does the opposite of highlighting; it brings shadows to the areas where you apply it, making your face look smaller, your features sharper and well defined.
Next up, fill up the empty spaces with the lighter shade of foundation and blend, blend blend!
Don’t forget to set: To set your contour, use a fluffy brush to apply translucent powder all over your face. Brush the excess and you’re now ready for the next steps in your makeup regime.
