Welcome, our absolute heroine Christine Teigen. She called Morgan out asking "Why do you ALWAYS take the road of being the piece of shit asshole?", to which he responded "Morning, Ms Teigen. You didn't actually read it did you...? Try doing that before throwing a diva tantrum". His response is comedic. Calling Chrissy a diva is sexist, calling her having an opinion a 'tantrum' is sexist, patronising her by inferring she didn't read the article is- yes you guessed it- sexist.
The worst bit for me was when Morgan stated "Your husband's a genius so I forgive your childish impudence", to which Teigen responded to with "My husband thinks you are one of the most misogynistic, condescending morons on the planet but thank you". Good on Chrissy for putting Piers in his place. The worst thing about his tweet is that he thinks Chrissy is only validated by her husband's success. Why does John have anything to do with this debate? The only way Morgan knows how to respond to a strong female is by belittling them and changing the conversation to centre around males again, because that's his comfort zone.
Read the tweets in the gallery above and form your own opinion, but ultimately this was a win for feminism. Why? Because Piers Morgan could not stop proving Teigen and Aniston's point.
Morgan's response to a piece about sexism in tabloids was to write a sexist piece in a tabloid. Let that sink in...
