Despite the horrendous weather, today's schedule has been mighty full on for London Fashion Week, so they was no time to worry about the rain, the up-hill climb to the latest venue or indeed getting splashed by the paps. No, no... we are TRUE pros.
You can read more about our misadventures later in our Day 1 round up, but for now here's our review of one of LFW's hottest tickets this season; Bora Aksu.
Always a show full of beautiful detail and a gorgeous colour palette, SS16's offering had us dreaming of spring with intricate lace designs, pastel sequins, two toned ankle cowboy boots and floral head pieces, which were to die for.
The inspiration for the collection all harked back to Aksu's childhood, when he would spend summers at his family's country house during the hot summer heat in Izmir.
His lemon, orange and pomegranate trees provided the staple colour palette, which is what made this offering so vibrant and fresh.
All in all, a stunning effort once again from the designer. Now onto the FROW or lack thereof should we say! However, we did spot Proudlock, Rosie Fortescue and Tallia Storm (looking like she had been electrocuted with hair that literally stood on end) but other than that, it was pretty quiet.
Here's hoping our other catwalk reports bring in some real A-list spots!
