Back in June 2015, Caitlyn Jenner, the oldest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, took the headlines by storm when she announced that she’s transgender. “Call Me Caitlyn” was pretty much all everyone saw on social media.
And now, she’s back in then news with her latest announcement.
M.A.C is famous for its Viva Glam program, where they tie up with famous women every now and then to release a limited edition lipstick whose proceeds go to charity. Jenner is the latest name to join this prestigious list, and M.A.C fans couldn’t be more excited about it.
Jenner first hinted at the collaboration by tweeting: “Some days I just gotta say...I love that I'm finally free to be me. #TransIsBeautiful”. She later announced the details of the collaboration on Twitter as well.
The shade being released as a part of the Caitlyn x MAC collab is going to be called ‘Finally Free’, an ode to Jenner’s transition. The lipstick is going to be a “rosy nude” hue, and is said to be perfect for everyday use.
Oh, and the proceeds from the sale of lipsticks are to be used for the improvement of transgender communities! Isn't that something?!
