Sharing an image of herself bikini clad and lying by the pool, Britney's recent Instagram picture of her sporting Victoria's Secret swimwear has gained much criticism from fans who believe she's photoshopped her waistline.
Some fans have pointed out that the edge of the pool where her waist is seems to have magically disappeared, with one follower commenting: "The gap in your back should be stone, not water. Bad photoshop."
But does it really matter if Britney has photoshopped her own image? She looked stunning in her recent shoot with V magazine
but we'd be naive to assume that didn't involve the slightest bit of photoshopping at all. In fact, with the exception of shoots making headlines for no photoshopping whatsoever, it's pretty safe to assume they've all been airbrushed.
Why is it in 2016 that we're still shocked every time a celebrity shows that they too - possibly more than any of us - are vulnerable to criticism about their looks and are eager to appear "perfect"? Airbrushing your pics: damned if you do, damned if you don't. LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!
