The Emmys are hands-down one of the most exciting events of the year in Hollywood, because we get to see our favourite faces from TV putting their best foot forward on the red carpet in some gorgeous dresses!
After much deliberation, we have finally picked our favourites of this year.
We have long coveted the ultra chic wardrobe of Kerry's character Olivia Pope from Scandal, and the actress herself has stunning sense of dressing too! A pregnant Kerry looked beautiful on the red carpet in a black custom Brandon Maxwell cutout gown.
Laverne Cox aka Sophia Burset from Orange is the New Black is hands-down one of our favourite people, with all the amazing activism she does for her transgender community. She looked uber sexy in a golden plunging Naeem Khan dress that gave us major #QueenBey vibes.
PC aka Alex Parrish from Quantico aka queen of our hearts stole everyone's attention on the Emmys red carpet when she did a graceful twirl in her red Jason Wu gown!
20-year-old Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones (the show that broke all Emmys records this year, FYI) looked super elegant in a black, lacey Valentino creation and her gorgeous blonde locks.
Emilia Clarke is one of the golden girls of television, with her character Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones being one of the most popular ever, and her personality captivating fans off-screen. So it was only fitting that she looked gorgeous in a champagne-coloured Atelier Versace dress.
Taraji P. Henson
Taraji has captivated us all as the sassy-but-loveable Cookie Lyon on Empire, and even though her lemon yellow Vera Wang dress was simple compared to the other embellished dresses on the red carpet, she looked amazing as ever!
No best-dressed list would be complete without Emily Ratajkowski, who habitually turns heads with her super sexy physique and bold sartorial choices. Though she chose a relatively demure outfit for the Emmys this year, the deep blue Zac Posen gown flattered her beautifully!
