Upon the announcement of her new album, entitled "25", the world went on a frenzy and felt a mix of emotions for Adele's return. From her album still selling like crazy and breaking all records, to an already sold out European tour, and an upcoming US tour, we can't help but wonder, when can we get a glimpse of Adele performing live again?
Sure enough, last November, Adele performed at Radio City in New York City performing hits from her latest and previous albums. Aired last night on TV, "Adele, Live In New York City" featured the hit singer perform 8 hit songs that truly made everyone emotional including the singer herself.
It's been 4 years since Adele performed a series of songs in front of a live audience - most of her recent live guesting were to promote her single "Hello" and that's it, so this was definitely a big moment for Adele, as she stated numerous times during the concert that she was "extremely nervous" and just "wanted it to be over."
But of course, Adele didn't let us down, from her funny jokes and antics, to her silly faces, to her belt out songs, to songs just makes us want to cry in a corner because Adele surely gives us the feels, to Adele acknowledging her "man" as she dedicated the song "Someone Like You" and stating that she's singing this song in a new light, thanks to her beau.
To moments such as Adele making herself cry, after receiving a standing ovation when she finished "When We Were Young." and of course, a teary goodbye, and see you later wave from the singer.
It's definitely nice to see Adele take over the stage again and move us with song after song. Job well done, Adele!
